Hands-down, one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. And had the perfect amount of sauce and cheese ratio did not even leave the crust soggy or leaking through. It was a thinner crust p and was completely flavorful.. I wish I would've taken a picture or two show, but it was devoured right away. They have a small arcade area when you walk into order. And then you walk around the corner where all the seating is available with a large TV to watch a game or something. They also have one of those juke boxes so you can choose your own music while you're there. If I remember correctly, I don't think they had fountain sodas. But I ordered just a bottled soda and they gave me a cup of ice. They were so nice and checked on us to see if we needed anything extra. read more

While visiting Solvang, our party of 15 decided to have pizza. Thinking it would be difficult to find seating for such a large group, we walked in immediately seated by the owner. There were several other customers in the pizza shop however, the owner assisted us in moving numerous tables together in order to accommodate us. The place is very nice, clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The personal sized pizzas were very good, fresh and though I rarely eat pizza, I had no regrets whatsoever. Stop in whenever we're in Solvang (every couple years). Pizza is decent, service is friendly and helpful even when the staff is slammed, and it's a cute, clean spot. We brought the dog this time and so decided to eat outside (where space heaters kept us toasty). We got the vegetarian and, while the tomatoes were a bit mushy, it was pretty good for pizza in a Danish-themed tourist town. That said, a family throwing a party inside decided to let their young children (maybe 3, 5 and 7 tops) play outside (including playing music) and scream at the top of their lungs the the entire time. We have been wanting to come to towers pizza for the past few trips to Solvang, but haven't made it until recently. It is located in a cool tower building at the end of the city. A bit hidden unless you're looking up for the tower. Upon arrival my boys were so excited to play in the arcade which was a unique surprise! We go to peasants deli every visit to play with their arcade, but is it awesome to know there are two spots to play games now. It is also a fun was to spend some time while traveling with little. They have different games that were fun for us compared to peasants. It was also nice to have something to do with a 2 & 4 year old while they wait for their pizza. Once the food was ready, we sat down and ate. Nice, spacious seating area. Child friendly. Pizza was so good! Salad was just okay. Service was helpful, timely and friendly. read more

We ordered at the counter and they bring it to you. Took a while to get the food with no other person in front of us. But they may have been short staffed. Parking wasn't really a problem. There's a lot behind the restaurant as well as street parking in the front. They have a small arcade area for the kiddos. I would eat it fresh as I don't think it would be good as take out. First of all, they no longer deliver. The BBQ Chicken Pizza had "chicken" that was some type of spongy, processed loaf cut into cubes. Horrible. Very little BBQ sauce, and also stingy with the cheese, red onions and cilantro. Too bad because the crust is good. read more

I came here to pick up a pizza for an early dinner. The restaurant was tucked inside away from Alisal Rd, just look for the Round Tower. It was pretty early so the place was empty. I ordered a medium garlic chicken pizza. The guy told me that it would be about a 15 minute wait. I took the time to do a little window shopping. When I returned they were just finishing up and boxing my pizza. I took it back to my room to enjoy. It was not bad, just the right amount of food for one person. I used to live in Solvang and Tower Pizza with my go to. It was the absolute best in my opinion in Solvang. However, under new ownership to me it is the worst. The crust is hard and flavorless. Hardly any cheese and the pepperoni is smaller than a quarter and sparse. It was horrible to me and definitely not worth what I paid. We walked in at 8:30pm, placed an order, and only after paying were told by the young man at the counter that they actually close at 8pm and our food would have to be to-go. Funny, because both Google and Yelp say they close at 9pm. Then, out of nowhere, he says, "Yeah, people try to order things that aren't on the menu." What does that have to do with anything? Zero connection to our order. Felt like a weird, lame excuse for rushing us out. The food didn't save the experience. Vegetarian pizza was completely flavorless. Caesar salad was as basic as it gets. Our family was delighted after receiving two incredible pizzas for our family of five. The pizzas crust was thin and crispy without being burnt. I had high hopes after seeing all the pics on Yelp. Order half all meats and bbq chicken. Thought it was WEIRD the order girl asked me what sauce I wanted on the BBQ Chicken pizza. Ahhhhh BBQ??? Lol. We've been to Solvang 5 times and have never eaten at Viking Tower Pizza because why would we eat pizza in a Danish Town? Everything closes around 6pm and food choices get limited (unless you want to eat at a fancy restaurant or a bar and grill), so we decided on pizza. When we got to the restaurant to dine in, the place was completely empty and it looked like they were about to close. There were two guys working, and they said they were only taking to go orders. I was disappointed because I thought we still had at least an hour before they closed, but apparently I misread the store hours on the website and they closed in 30 minutes. We ordered a pepperoni and the Tower Pizza (pesto sauce, sausage, etc.). I asked if we could eat at the patio outside, and they said yes. They only had bottled drinks, but they offered us some water and ice while we waited for our meal. The disappointment on not being able to dine in the restaurant completely disappeared when we started eating. I don't know if we were just hungry, but my wife, brother, and two daughters devoured the pizzas. Both pizzas were amazing, especially the one with pesto. They didn't skimp on toppings and the crust was perfectly light and thin. Good service, great pizza. Will definitely go back next time we're in Solvang. read more

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The service from the young lady in front was super friendly and the area was really fun, particularly with the tower. It's just past the bakery, to the right (in the back, away from the street). It was such a chill spot with plentY of indoor and outdoor dining. The pizza itself was actually pretty awesome! Flavors were on point, and the thin crust was great, and nicely crisp. The All Meats toppings were also really nice. It came out to just over $30, including a drink and tax + tip. A medium is enough for 2-3 people. Not sure why they don't have prices on the menu, but they should probably consider adding some :P. If you're in the mood for pizza, I'd definitely feel comfortable recommending the All Meats thin crust from here, if you like meat- heavy pizzas, haha. Is it fancy "gourmet" pizza? Not really. But it's pretty great, and definitely worth giving a try if you're in the mood for a casual pizza experience while in Solvang. read more

The prices were a bit higher than expected but it's what you get in tourist places. The pizza was mediocre. Not the best by far nor the worst. Average at best. The Caesar salad was a joke. We decided to stay in the hotel and order pizza to go. We wanted to chill, eat, and be lazy. We walked down to a pizza place that caught my eye. Very cool establishment. Reminds me of the old pizzeria's I would go to when I was a kid. We ordered a couple of Stromboli's. Delicious! I had a tomato with Green Pepper and the wife had the Pineapple with olive. The marinara was just like my mamas. We ordered a couple cold brews while waiting for our order. Good seating, indoor and outdoor. Tower Pizza is located behind several other stores/restaurants and is a little hard to find. Look out for all the signs guiding you to the store. There is some street parking close by. I ordered to go on a Saturday around 1:00 PM and had to wait 25 minutes. I ordered a plain, small cheese pizza, garlic breadsticks, a house salad with chicken, and 6 plain wings. I had one issue at pickup where the salad wasn't included. When I got back to the hotel, I called to ask them to deliver and when explaining to the girl who answered the phone on where to deliver, she was confused and didn't know where that street was... the hotel happened to be on the same street as the pizza place... but they were nice enough to deliver the salad. The food was mediocre and I actually thought the cheese on the pizza tasted off. Didn't care for the garlic breadsticks much and they were room temperature at pickup. I think the best item I ordered were the wings since they were hot and juicy and the large, house salad since the portion was good and had a good amount of toppings. Overall I'm not sure I would go back. Total was $50 for all but didn't think it was worth the taste. read more

We really liked the double pepperoni deep dish pizza we got. Thought it was fantastic. Called in the order, walked to pick it up, enjoyed a great IPA outside while our pizza cooked. Only took about 20 mins for the deep dish to cook. The kid helping me poured a perfect beer, and never have I had a beer delivered so cautiously, as not to spill a drop.
