First off the guy I dealt with, I was much better off if he was just AI, cuz with every question I had he just made me go on the Verizon app and look for it myself. For a 5 star review it is considered great. A 4 star review is good. A 3 star review is okay. A 2 star review "could've been better"... But a 1 star review is "Not good".... Not good cant begin to describe how terrible this store is. I've come to this store maybe 3 times in the last 3 months. What I would give one star for is convenience. I live within walking distance which makes this store very easily accessible. 3rd time is a charm. I will never come back to this store no matter what. I walked into the store and saw a few customers inside but no employee in sight. After about a 5 minute wait 1 employee female came out to assist from the back. She asked what I would like help with and I advised her that I was interested in upgrading my phone. I went in with full intent on purchasing a new phone that day. I've never gone into this store and got "actual help". They're always referring me to a different phone number to call or a different place to take my business. I don't believe the employees even care if customers come in. I went in today with money in hand to upgrade my phone and the employee said the best she could do is schedule an appointment for tomorrow. This is just bad business. I'm there today. I went to spend my money today. This Verizon store will never have my business ever. Went In for an upgrade and instead of an upgrade the dishonest rep opened up a new line for me because his commission would be bigger. He also lied about the device protection plan he enrolled me in . Beware of their unethical scams. The reps name is Abraham, he will lie straight to your face for his benefit beware of this rep. The manager tried to make the fix the situation but still to their benefit so I canceled the whole order. This is the way Verizon treats a 10 plus year customer. I had to wait outside in 90° heat at Verizon for about 50 min. There were no signs stating what time they opened. They had a QR code that said 10 am, Yelp states 10 am, and their online page displays 10 am. When I arrived at 10:15, there was a line. When I entered the store, I asked to speak to a manager. Gerry came over and stated he was the manager. I asked why his signs said they open at 10 am, but they didn't open until 11 am. He said it was a corporate issue and said there was nothing he could do. So I said how about posting a sign stating our online times are incorrect and that we don't open until 11 am--or having an employee come out and let everyone know what's going on? He then said, "you for your feedback," and turned around to leave. I then asked him for phone numbers to corporate and his regional manager info. He only gave me an 800-922-0204 number and continued to say thank you for your feedback in a condescending way. No one should unknowingly have to wait outside in 90 degree weather. The young man helping me with my original issue was friendly and respectful. I called customer service at *611. The representative I spoke to was helpful and tried to get me the regional manager for the store. She said he was out until Tuesday. She stated she emailed him and would also call me back personally if he had not called me back by Tuesday. I will update once I get more information Ps, what's the point of paying higher fees at Verizon if you won't get excellent customer service? Also, since 2019 what happened to employees taking responsibility for the issue and resolving them? I visited the store in Redlands CA June 16 because my iPhone 11 Pro was not working. The representative I talked to Sean said I was eligible for the promotion for an iPhone 14 if I got a new number. So he gave me the iPhone 14 and my iPhone 11 to see if I could recover the photos and I came back July 6 to Give my iPhone 11 because it was not at all recoverable. The staff said the promotion was not valid on my account because it would cost more and would charge me the full cost of the iPhone 14 . This is dishonest business read more

I came in to buy two new phones and two watches . The sales person never told us we needed new lines for The watches. So the next day I called to talk to the store manager tommy! He has no business being a store manager he is rude and unprofessional . He didn't care about the complaint he just said call 611! Rude ! He completely dismissed me and my concern. Walked in to get a new SIM card and was pleased with how fast I was assisted and that it was free! I explained the issue I was having and Michael was able to quickly take out and replace my SIM card and explain other alternative solutions I could take in case I was still having connectivity issues down in San Diego (apparently some other phone company is using the same frequency as Verizon and my internet has been terribly slow over there) ANYWAYS I was probably in there for about five minutes despite there being a decent amount of other costumers present at the time so it was nice getting what I wanted at no cost AND in a timely manner. read more

I walk into the Verizon store and all the sale's rep's run to the back room. There is one guy finishing up with 2 customers so I stand around for 10 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me. He finally tells me after 10 minutes that someone will be out to help me, but no one ever comes. He goes to the back then comes out and asks if he can help me. I tell him that I want to purchase 2 iPhones wireless charges. He takes my info tells me that it will take a half an hour and then had the audacity to ask to wait outside in 105 degree weather when there was no one in the store so I left and ordered them on Amazon and will receive them tomorrow. It's funny that all of the phones that I bought where supposed to have screen protectors on them and I payed the extra money for them he took them to the back and when one of the phones drop you could see the inside of the phone so when he took the phones to the back he sat there to make it look like he was doing something but didn't and now I have to pay 500 dollars on a phone that doesn't work because the person didn't do his job and sat in the back. Tried calling for help on line but Verizon is closed, online is not working to activate because the phone has a locked sim! LOIS was not helpful at all! I switched over to T-Mobile 3 months ago, and Verizon continues to bill my credit card. They refused to stop, giving me one excuse after another. I haven't had service for 3 months but they continue to steal from me using autopay. The only way I can get these people to stop billing me is to change my credit card and disable autopay updating. Verizon is a company run by thieves and liars. This local corporate Verizon store makes you wait outside in 95ﾟheat, even though there is plenty of room inside, in the AC. The staff are incredibly rude. These pricks even called the cops because I wouldn't leave when I didn't get satisfaction. (My credit card company will get my money back, but it takes time.) I came in just now on a busy Saturday afternoon with an extremely strange request: if there's any Verizon branded freebies or stickers for a very special SPED student of my mothers. My elderly grandparents recently visited this location. Not only did they receive subpar customer service... they were laughed at and humiliated by the representatives at this location and no one put a stop to it. I understand it may be difficult to explain things to people who aren't technologically savvy, however they were treated disrespectfully and even laughed at. They are nice soft-spoken individuals who rarely complain.They were able to speak to a manager about it who offered no help and eventually went to another Verizon location for their business. What a shame that the redlands location has no standards or accountability and treats seniors, who often times have been loyal customers for years disrespectfully. Please, if you are a senior or have a few questions don't expect any help here. Save yourself from a belittling experience. Will be calling corporate to provide more details about the incident. I've wondered how this store can consistently retain a low 1-1/2 star rating on over 100 reviews. But now I know, after being in the store 2 hours the afternoon of Black Friday and then having to return in the early evening the same day because our new service contract for 2 mobile smartphones could not get through, and then having to wait another 2 hours before our order was completed and successfully processed. To add to the horror, we were told our sales rep would be at the store continuously until closing time, but when we returned he was away on a dinner break. I went to the store entrance to be sure to catch him first upon his return (because the store was packed with customers all the time we were there), and 25 minutes later the man arrived with soda cup in hand. When I said that we were back to finish the transaction, I kid you not, he looked at his watch and said, "I'll see you in 10 minutes," whereupon he fled to the break room I suppose to complete his dinner break, and emerged 10 minutes later to complete our order. After several more unsuccessful tries to get our new service contract and equipment order through, the rep finally called Verizon Customer Service from the store only to be directed to another Customer Service number. With all the technical computer wizardry at hand, it took a person on the other end of a phone line on the second call to finally miraculously get our order through. Then, after everything was apparently done, I asked if the allowance for Diane's traded in Android smartphone had been computed in the totals, because I did not see such a deduction on the invoice or receipt. And, sure enough this had been forgotten. So, rather than try to redo everything, and leave the store at midnight if we were lucky, I agreed to have the $45 credited as a payment on our December mobile phone service bill. And this was done. But it wasn't all bad! Because, for signing up for another 2-year contract for 2 smartphones, Diane walked away with a $250 Verizon Ellipsis 8 tablet for $0 and a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at a huge discount, and I scored a Samsung Galaxy S 5 4 LTE smartphone for $50 plus a $50 rebate, which washes out to $0. And in between our two protracted Verizon Store visits, we did some personal and holiday Black Friday shopping at Barnes & Noble (greatly discounted books), Target (camera, camera accessories, and toys at significantly reduced prices), Michaels, Pier 1, and Kohl's. Thus, our exhausting Black Friday was at least well spent. So 1-1/2 stars for pretty lousy customer service and inefficient processing of an order, rounded up to 2 stars overall for some very good deals! read more

Absolutely ridiculous! They have a sign on the window stating they are open until 5. I showed up at 3:30 and read the sign saying please wait here one customer at a time. Waited and waited and waited. No one came to greet me and there were no other sign stating they were closed. Waited 15 min outside in the heat and a cleaning crew showed up stating they were closed. No communication at all or sign stating sorry we are closed today. Thought I was doing the right thing respecting the rules instead fee like an idiot! I never rights reviews but this is the second time I've gone to a Verizon store and against my wish and without my consent they added protection plan on my phone to charge me extra $24 a month without me knowing this is very deceitful practice. Initially I thought it was a mistake but this is the second time that workers have done this at Verizon store. 12/10/2020 update : I sent an email as was directed below to Verizon, as expected, no one has contacted me as of yet. My guess is that such response is to show public that they take fraud seriously, but in reality, this is probably a great way of making more money ! I've been a VZ customer since 1985 when it was known as AirTouch. I think today is my last day though. We have 2 phones, one for wife and one for me. She is quite ill and recently discharged from a skilled nursing facility in Banning. We depend heavily on these phones to keep in touch. Last week w/o warning, they stopped working. No.service due to non-payment! As we have auto.pay set up, I was surprised. I checked the web site and it said my account was suspended until a past due amount of $0.00 was paid! Further the recorded message said the payment had to be made in cash at a VZ wireless store. I tried calling the only store open today in Redlands on Lugonia but they don't answer the phone. I drove over there from Banning to pay my zero dollar bill and get the service restored. The guy at the door had to get the manager who had no idea what to do. He tried to tell me that I needed to contact VZ financial services which of course I had tried to do already about 10 times. I let him listen to the message that said I had to come to the store in person. I asked him how he wanted me to pay the $0.00 bill and would a credit card be OK? (I couldn't help myself). The guy just looked at me and said he couldn't help me! Stay away from these guys. They know little or nothing about what they're doing. I have an appointment w/spectrum tomorrow at 5 PM. But I got a phone plan with at&t and left Verizon because at&t offered me a better plan for less money and they are just as good as Verizon (not that metro, and Sprint b.s) well they decided to be petty and become like a bitter ex when even though I've been making payments on my old plan, they decide to try and send it to collections. Now I'm making monthly payments over a 12 month period, if I "miss one payment" then they will "immediately send it to collections" Hey verizon....screw you! read more

Taylor has been so helpful telling me the different deals they currently have & im getting that bundle! because I had to pay a remaining balance to pay off my current phone, there was some kind of error. & she's doing all she can for me to upgrade my phone instead of me paying full price. it's just customer service that she's called don't know what they're doing. she's called more than three times & finally the fourth rep is helping us out. aha every time I come into this store, the employees are always so kind & very helpful. if I ever have any issues I come to this verizon location when I have other locations closer to my house. read more

Went to pickup a new IPhone 13 Pro Max on 6/7/2022 that I ordered online for local pickup. I was met at the door by a employee called Chanti. She grabbed my order and handed it to me in a Verizon bag, I asked about the activation instructions to which she says to just turn it on and follow directions. I then asked her questions about early payoff and putting a larger down on the new phone. At this point Chanti started getting irate with me and told me to wait outside, I mentioned that I would like to wait inside due to the hot weather with the other people waiting inside. I was told to go outside where no one else was waiting in the heat. I was never offered to buy a case or protective glass. I actually had to go elsewhere to purchase. I have been a 30 year customer and never had been treated so rudely. Her instructions to activate did not work. I had to call the 800 number to have customer service to do a activation on Verizon's end. To pay for a $1300 phone and not get service in the store is ridiculous. An elderly Hispanic woman who had just lost her husband called Verizon to ask how she could cancel her recently deceased husbands account. She was told she would have to go to the Verizon store at 27512 W Lugonia Ave, Ste B2 D and E Redlands, CA, 92374; 909.798.5450, which she did. She drove 40 minutes from lake arrowhead to this worthless store, only to be told that she would have to go home and return her dead husbands phone. When she returned the next day Wednesday, 27th of March, she was told that she would have to buy the phone or lose all the data on it. No one there would help her switch the data to her phone! They gave her two pieces of paper with vague instructions and would NOT help her! She bought her deceased husbands phone so that she could keep the photos, the sales associate Maria charged the wrong card, when the widow asked to have the card refunded so that she could use a card with money on it, the widow was refused! The manager Albert who was just standing around, also refused to help the widow! The widow left the store crying and sat in her car crying for over an hour as we tried to help her! Disgusting! It's not that hard to be a good person! The majority of Verizon's staff is just standing around and hiding behind a counter!
