I am writing to formally complain about the service I received at thisr Redlands, CA (Alabama Street) franchise. I have previously had good experiences with UbreakiFix franchise locations, but my recent experience at this new location I tried has left my phone damaged beyond repair and cost me $250. I dropped off my phone to have a cracked screen fixed on my birthday. I noted that the two employees working did not speak English or Spanish fluently, making communication difficult, but I assumed it was a standard repair. Two weeks later, the screen began flickering, and I noticed the bottom external screws were not fully installed. I could not answer my phone or see the new screen they supposedly put in, I returned to the store, and the staff in very broken Endlish informed me the issue was now the battery and offered to replace it-so I agreed - Afterall this is supposed to be a great repair service brand. However, I later discovered they did not replace the battery. When I took my phone to another repair company, they discovered that three internal screws were missing entirely and my battery had been pried lose and not replaced,. I did not do this. Only this location of this franchise did, I gave this location two opportunities to properly repair my phone and communicate clearly, but both attempts failed. Furthermore, during my visits, I witnessed multiple other customers complaining in both English and Spanish about faulty repairs. I myself have not been able to conduct my work and it is affecting my job. Given that my phone is now permanently damaged due to the poor workmanship at this location and false information about work performed, I want to request a full refund of the $250 I paid. However, The staff can't communicate in English or Spanish the two languages I speak -- so it makes it impossible to request from them directly. I hope that the National Team at UBrekIfix see this and can get me a ok a prompt response regarding how this will be resolved. This location needs to be renamed YouBreak WeBreakSomemore! read more

I made an appointment online and Victor, the person managing the store said they don't honor appointments. He said it's on first come first serve basis, as he "is only one person." If the store does not honor appointments, they should not post that they have an appointment system, as I tried to show up on time to honor this time commitment. read more

I came in right at opening on thursday for water damage after dropping my iPhone in a jacuzzi. I explained everything clearly: the phone was turned off immediately, patted dry, SIM removed, and that the only added concern was that the back glass was already cracked. Instead of any reassurance or problem-solving, the employee almost immediately started talking me out of their $80 water damage service. He repeatedly emphasized there were "no guarantees" and even suggested the service could make things worse. He then acted shocked about the crack--even though I had already mentioned it--and used a lot of loaded, alarmist language like "bad news," without offering any actual solution. I directly asked whether doing anything would improve the odds of saving my phone, and was basically told no. That makes zero sense. Why would anyone bring in a phone for water damage if it were perfectly intact? iPhones are water-resistant by default. It felt like they were only willing to take my money if the phone didn't actually need help. I left and went straight to MacGuyz, where the experience was the complete opposite. They immediately knew my phone model, confirmed I had taken the right steps, explained exactly what they would do next, were honest about expectations, and were cheaper. I genuinely don't understand how this location advertises water damage repair when they seem unwilling to even try the moment a phone isn't pristine. Huge waste of time. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Victor the manager is a very angry person. Per my insurance co. I had a scheduled appointment for repair of my television on July 26 at 11am but heard nothing from the shop. After 10 days of my TV at his shop I called to check the status and he didn't like it. When I asked him about the diagnostic he flipped out and told me that it was the insurance companies fault he didn't have parts. He said they never sent the parts. After I was in contact with the insurance company and they stated they sent them on July 25, that's why they scheduled my appointment for the 26th. Victor continued to blame them. He then got so angry he canceled my repair and I had to find another shop to repair. But fortunately for me the insurance company said instead of a new shop they are replacing my TV for all the inconvenience to me. So in a way going through all of this I came out on top. Don't go to this shop if you want good service. Again, the worst customer service I've ever experienced! read more

There were 2 employees there. One was talking on a phone when I got there, so the second person began asking me what I needed. I was explaining it to him and the 1st person ended his call. He picked up my phone and said it couldn't be fixed. He had not heard what I'd told the first person and didn't let me finish my explanation. Just said, it couldn't be fixed. Very rude. I walked into the Ubreakifix store in Redlands, CA and immediately regretted it. I asked an employee (no name tag, of course) for a quick estimate on a battery replacement for my iPhone 13 Pro. He told me $129, which I was fine with. But when I asked a simple follow-up about the cleaning service listed on their website, his response was absolutely ridiculous and completely unprofessional. Instead of giving me an answer, he smirked and said: "Cleaning about what? The panties." Yes, that's actually what he said to a customer asking about a phone service. If that's their idea of customer service, this place is a joke. I shouldn't have to explain that I was talking about phone cleaning and not stand there while an employee makes crude, inappropriate comments. Once I called him out, he tried to straighten up, but the damage was already done. I walked out and will never go back. If you value respect and professionalism, save yourself the time and take your business elsewhere. read more

I visited here to fix my wife's phone. I have a protection plan with AT&T. When I went in the man I spoke to was very nice and helped me out with my reservation. I like how he didn't belittle me for not knowing what to do. He told me three hours and it will be ready. I came back four hours later and it was done. I didn't get his name but I should have. He was nice and respectful to my wife and I. Huge shout out to that guy for making my experience great. read more

I dropped off a Samsung z fold 5 with a non working inner screen. They were helpful upon arrival and let us know how long it was gonna take to fix our screen. I left our phone and left. They actually were able to get my phone fixed sooner than the time they had said. It was a very easy process and we will definitely be using them again. read more

First time going here recommended by AT&T. I went in to get a battery replacement that I needed urgently since my health battery was at 70%. I just kept charging the phone and it wouldn't last which is not normal. I went to the Redlands location, went in and I talked to a person named Victor. He was very nice and friendly. I felt like it was a trustful place since AT&T has sent me there although I was a little skeptical. Right off the bat I knew from the conversation that Victor was very humble and knowledgeable and definitely had the experience not to mention that he had said it was going to take two hours. He got right to work and he finished it in sooner time. I definitely recommend this place and I also was Very happy with the service and my repair. today I needed help I bought an apple iPad mini it needs a glass apple won't do it they don't sell them so I went to T-Mobile cause I needed to get it changed and working for my T-Mobile account they didn't have a glass and they didn't do it so I finally went and found a glass and I took it back to Apple and asked them to apply the glass and they wouldn't so then I called Asurion you break you fix and I asked if they could possibly put a glass on for me. Not only did the gentleman at the counter agreed to do it for me he did it within 10 minutes and it was very reasonably priced hats off too Abdul he was wonderful!!! Thank you!!! I dropped off a laptop to be diagnosed and after 3 full days, they had not even looked at my item. No diagnostics, no recommended repairs and no txt or phone call. My receipt indicated the estimated repair action was by the end of the first day and their website says they will start (and finsh) the service as soon as the same day. In my case, 3 full days and no action taken at all. On the 4th day, I took my item back with no action and no charge. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! I called in advance to ask if it was possible to bring in my PC to have someone walk me through the part as I'm new to pc building. I had asked over the phone if it was possible to have someone show me the parts to which they replied yes no problem their computer specialist could help out. I asked if there was some fee they said no. I asked AGAIN over the phone if it was possible as I didn't want to be rude and bring it in just for it to not be possible for them to which they replied yes it's no worry they assured me someone could help. Well come to find out I bring in my PC and it's the complete opposite not only did they tell me it's not something they do but they would need to charge me a $99 diagnostic fee! All because I had asked to be walked through the parts. Worst of all as I politely decline they had the audacity to try and pitch me a warranty for my PC that is perfectly fine and not broken AS IM WALKING OUT CARRYING IT. I contacted Asurion over the weekend to repair an iPhone. I found them online and contact them through Instagram. The rep on there was very responsive. I gave them the info on the phone and they recommended a location close to me. I made an appointment from their website and went the next day. Unfortunately they didn't even have the part for my phone. They could have saved me the drive by contacting me when they saw my appointment. The website asked what the device was. For that reason I deducted a star. The rep still helped and found another location where they had the part for my phone. I drove down there and spoke with a very friendly rep. He repaired the phone in about 45 minutes and I was on my way. Overall... a good experience. If you're like me and forgot to add insurance to your iPhone, I would recommend Asurion for repairs. read more

I made an appointment and when I got there they acted like they didn't know they had a 2-3 o'clock appointment set on there website they say they can do battery replacement for a Motorola one 5 g ace but when I arrived they said o no we don't work on Motorola phones and they they would have to outsource it and it cost me 160 dollars for a new battery replacement,what a rip off.xalled a shop in Moreno valley mall and they said no problem they could replace the battery for 60 bucks.never will I go back or recommend ubreakifix..They lie and over charge for there service..I don't believe for one minute that they would out source the service,just a way to way over charge... read more

First of all they cost much more than Apple or Best Buy (both are out of stock for what I need). Second they are very rude, the store employee was trying to press me to pay for much more than I could afford and when I asked him if I could just do a small fix for now, he said, "No do the whole thing!" I told him I could only afford one thing, he insisted, then when I told him I'm poor he said, "My mortgage just went up to $4000 and I have kids so don't tell me your poor!" Had a problem with my iPhone not charging, called and spoke with Izsak after receiving a text from him. He said come on down and they would be able to fix it. Walked in the door, he took one look at my phone and said hang on a sec, went in the back and less than 15 seconds later came back and plugged it into a charging cord to show it was working. Turns out there was a piece of my old defective charging cable stuck in the port. They wouldn't take any payment for the fix, great place will definitely use if i have a more serious problem with my phone. And if it had been a defective part the price he quoted me was reasonable and they fix things same day. Excellent work by Izsak! read more

The customer service at this place is absolutely horrible. If I was the owner of this place or even the manager I would be extremely embarrassed by the way my staff treats customer. I visited "Asurion Tech Repair & Solutions" to get my phone screen repaired. The guy working there would not even get up off his butt to come talk to me and was talking to me behind a blurred glass wall that they have put up in the store. He never greeted me. Finally after 10 minutes he comes to ask me what I'm there for. He said he could not find my reservation in their system. I showed him the confirmation email with the confirmation number that shows their stores name and address. He tells me there's nothing he can do about it. I asked if he could make a new appointment for me and he says "No, we can't make appointments, we're not Asurion." WEIRD, your building name and everywhere inside your store says ASURION. He goes and sits his lazy butt back down behind the blurred glass without saying anything and leaves me standing there feeling lost and confused until I finally walked out 10 minutes later. He was no help at all. I will never go here again and I will ALWAYS warn people before they go here from now on. Complete waste of time. They need to train their employees how to do their job and how to treat customers or they need to close their doors. read more
