This was also my first time visiting his new location in Rancho Cucamonga, and it's great -- big, clean, and safe. I called in to get a written repair estimate for a broken Apple Watch, which I sent them images of…read morethrough yelp. I told the man that I would pay for the repair estimate. I purchased the watch with an American Express card and ended up accidentally breaking it. American Express insurance will pay for a repair, or reimburse me so I can purchase another new watch, (depending on the repair cost). I explained all of this to the man. This process takes about a week for them to approve or deny. I explained that I wanted to make sure that the claim was approved before repairing it or ordering a new watch since I wasn't positive they will approve the claim. Since I would not immediately buy a new watch through FIX HUB, they decided to just not call me back at all after telling me "I will definitely call you back within 15 minutes". They also did not respond to direct messages through Yelp/Email. I also had told the man that I'd drive over to the Utica Avenue location in Rancho Cucamonga to take care of this, since they do offer Mobile repairs. I didn't want them driving to me to do a simple repair estimate that would take 2 minutes. This is terrible customer service. I break stuff all the time and would have used their services and recommended them to others. They could've also made a very easy sale with charging $60 for a simple repair estimate which I made clear that I would pay. They also could've made a sale for a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 when I had my claim approved for American Express. This business obviously doesn't realize that doing a simple thing for customers leads to loyalty, referrals, good reviews, and future sales. Since it wasnt a huge sale upfront they decided just to brush me off. In my opinion, I would do avoid doing business with FIX HUB.

Nathan (the owner) then tried to bait and switch me with another phone At that point, I decided not to move forward with the purchase and asked for my $50 deposit back. They agreed to refund me, but then it turned into days of "I'm waiting for Zelle to reset" and "I'll send it today." I asked what the problem was by phone - they could not tell me what the problem was. So I went and came in to pick up the PC and ask what the problem was. They again could not tell me. They said "my technician was out" and only he/she knew what the problem was. Not a convincing strategy to tell a customer. Then, I was asked multiple times to pay the $191 fee for clean up, etc (which I could do on my own btw). Technically the diagnosis was free, but they kept pushing me to pay the $191. Eventually, I just payed the $191 and hoped for the best. They didn't even show me if it worked when connecting a monitor. I trusted them and their reviews, so I just believed them. Lo and behold when I got home, the PC still had the same problem - It would not display any output. Eventually I figured out the problem was for myself - motherboard was broken. Needless to say I will not come back to this establish, and would not recommend at all because: (1) They could not even tell me what the problem was (2) What they alleged fixed was not fixed at all (3) When brought my PC, they emphasized diagnosis was free. But when I came back to pick it up, they kept pushing me to pay the $191 fee for clean up, etc. They didn't even show my if the problem was fixed (connecting a monitor).

I was concerned about my phone being connected to Sprint and if it could be unlocked so that I could use it with a different carrier. I dropped my phone off and they worked on it for a couple days. Apparently my phone was difficult to unlock, but they did it! I was so excited to hear that they unlocked my phone and that it was ready to pick up. I felt kinda naked without it for those few days. Mark was the guy who helped me and who kept in contact with me throughout the process. He quoted me a very reasonable price for what I wanted and the phone was in great condition when it was returned to me. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs repairs, unlocking, and much more on their phones as well as tablets. I suggest you give them a call to make an appointment. The two men working in iPhone Tech Repair when I went to fix my phone screen were very helpful and kind off the bat. They helped me right away and it only took about 15-20 minutes to fix my screen! This place is hidden behind a shoe store because it's a small place, but offers a lot of help! I waited for my phone while they fixed it and one fo the guys offered be a cool water because it was very hot. It was also not bad spending my time there waiting because they make conversation. I highly recommend them! Plus, they put water resistance on your phone again included when fixing your phone, isn't that great! read more

This company and owner is a joke. Worse I have ever seen. BEWARE. They scammed me out of my iPhone 6 Plus and money. I brought in my i6 Plus that needed just a screen. The owner told me after waiting for 2 hours that one of his techs stole my phone because he was fired for theft. The owner said sorry but I dont have any i6 plus to give you because of this. He also refused to give me my money back. He said to file a police report and wait for the police to deal with this matter. I called the police and nothing is happening. The tech there by the name of Phillip did a great job on my electronics. he helped to fix the broken screens on both my iPhone 5 and my LG tablet. He also helped in debugging my Macbook pro and helped recommend a great charger for my brother's Android phone that charges it way better than its factory charger. I recommend this business as it is a place that does quality and efficient work and has helped me with my technilogical needs. By far the best place in town to get your accident fixed, and the gear to protect its new pretty face. All humor aside, Philip really knows what he is doing. I took my S4 in with the problem of not turning on and not responding to the charger. After some experimental work around the power button, which he had never done before, he got it working like a champ. This is the place you need to take your broken phones and tell everyone you know with a phone to bring theirs here when they experience technical difficulties. read more

I needed to fix my wife's cracked lcd on her Sumsung galaxy phone. Call in, super friendly and provided detail info. Came in dropped the phone off. Good service and good people. Installed genuine Samsung stocked parts. It was ready same day (2 hours) where other places had to order the parts. Super happy with the results. They also resealed the phone whivh was cool ti combat water damage. The phone is good as new. Highly recommend. read more

Phone Tech is really great!!! Low prices and quality repairs!! I took my phone to the carrier and they told me I had to pay them $150 to replace my phone with the insurance. Phil at Phone Tech opened the phone, figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it for $50 in under an hour. And he also fixed another phone for free since it was just a loose wire inside the phone. Thanks Phil!!! read more

I have been to Phil's store on many occasions for personal and business reasons and have always been treated fairly and honestly whether it was for phone repair parts and accessories or even repair on sophisticated survey equipment. Guillermo was incredibly communicative when I requested a quote, answered all follow-up questions I had promptly, and offered a very reasonable price for the entire repair, especially considering I'd also asked to additionally have its battery replaced (and checked that a waterproof seal would be installed). He explained my options thoroughly and was very honest with me re: the options I had (he offers both OEM and aftermarket repairs). Throughout the whole process, he communicated immediately with me regarding the delivery status of the parts, the repair itself, and finally how long they would remain open for me to pick up my phone. To top it off, the price was the best across six separate repair shops I had asked. He also installed a new screen protector for me, and did not charge anything for it. It's been a little over a week since my phone was repaired and it's been working like new. Consider coming to this shop if you've ever been worried about a job done too hastily -- he'll tell you what choices you have and let you make your own decision.

They did a great job, and I knew I would definitely come back if we ever needed another repair. Well, we ended up going back yesterday because my husband dropped his phone on the concrete and the screen completely stopped working--just like what happened to my iPad before. I told him about this place and we decided to come here after trying T-Mobile and the Apple Store, which were both extremely busy since it was a Saturday. They let us know the repair would take about an hour. It ended up taking a little longer--about two hours--but considering it was a Saturday at a very busy mall, we completely understood. Instead of stressing about the wait, we just enjoyed some time walking around the mall with our family. Overall, we had another great experience and really appreciated their work. I would definitely recommend this place and will continue coming back for any future fixes we need.

Then the technician that worked on it tried telling me and his coworker that it wasn't working when I brought it in which is a complete bs. Then, they tried telling me that it was broken due to the inflamed battery which makes no sense since it was fully functional when I brought it in on Monday. Once he got back to his work area, he FaceTimed me to show me the issues with proceeding with the repair, and outlined my realistic options based on his past experience, including different recommendations based on whether I was just trading it in, or whether I was keeping the phone more long term. He didn't try to pressure me to make a decision one way or another, just laid out the facts. In the end, I didn't proceed with the repair due to the nature of the damage. David was very professional and returned my phone in the original state. I appreciated his honesty, integrity, and communication throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him in the future for a repair or a consultation on how to best approach a situation with a damaged phone.
