REAL TALK- Amazing service and business owner! I called this biz at 11am on a Saturday, talked to owner José about needing a complete operating system reinstall on a bit older Lenovo laptop, as a last minute birthday present//need for father in law who unexpectedly wound up in the hospital. José arranged for me to bring it right in and upgraded to its max capacity of Windows 11, in less than 2 hours. At pick-up, he then found an issue with it not connecting to WiFi. So he said he'd open it up to try and work it out by end-of-day at no extra charge, because I also told him I had to head out of town that following Sunday. And y'all, he did exactly that! Even so far as to him staying late just to get it done same-day for the cause. Now that's service! If I could give this business 5 more stars I would. Jose, the owner, provided some of the best customer service I have ever received in long time. He was incredibly fast and efficient in diagnosing the problem with my MacBook. Within 10 minutes, he was already able to tell me what the problem was (ram was broken) and fixed it in under an hour (45 minutes to be exact). His prices are very reasonable too! Another shop would've charged me upwards $300 but he only charged me $135. The diagnostic fee was included so technically I only payed $70. BEWARE OF WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING! This is by far one of the most dishonest business I have encountered in my life. After several failed attempts updating one of our Laptop computers from Windows 7 to 10, I decided to seek professional help to identify the problem. Besides an occasional Blue Screen error, the Laptop was in GOOD WORKING CONDITION. I went to this place and explained in detail to "Javier" that the problem was the UPGRADE to Windows 10, then he began to talk about possibly backing up the data and the chance of not being able to recover everything. I reminded him that there was a chance of a missing or corrupt file preventing the UPGRADE. While talking to him, a red flag raised in the back of my mind but being a sucker for supporting small businesses and the good reviews in YELP I decided to go ahead with the diagnostic. A couple of days later Javier contacted me and said that the Hard Drive and a memory stick were bad and it would cost about $280 to repair. I knew then I had made a mistake and politely said I would pick it up in the next few days. Got there and he handed me the Laptop with the RAM stick removed. Oh boy, this is bad service I thought; then took it and left the place. At home, I reinstalled the RAM and the laptop would no restart to its original settings, in other words, the Laptop was NOT WORKING as it did when I left it at the store. Whether accidentally or purposely, files or partitions were deleted from the hard drive which made it impossible to restart or restore. I called the store a few times to get an explanation but no one answered (no surprise there). I am a 72 year old senior and perhaps this guy thought I would be easy prey. Well little did he know, that I was a Mechanical Engineer by trade and during my school years learned Fortran programming as well as MS-DOS. Also, I worked as an Avionics Technician (Aircraft Electronic Repairman). After troubleshooting the computer using MS-DOS the only problem detected by the test was a loss of 44% of battery charge capacity. I Re-formatted the hard drive, re-installed Windows 7, and upgraded to 10. Lost some pictures, videos, software programs, and $48 for the absurd diagnostic. Oh well, lesson learned. By the way, you will notice the Yelp reviews are rather old which is another Red Flag. read more

A few years back, I had a Win. vista desktop upgraded to Win 8.1. At that time I was told I needed a new hard drive, so I paid to have one put in. More recently, I was having trouble with this pc running funny so I took it to them again. Again, I was told I needed a new hard drive, which I again paid to have replaced. Within a couple weeks that hard drive started making high pitched noises on start-up, which went away after a few days., In the last several weeks, the pc just seems to go batty every 3 to 4 days, requiring me to have to do a hard reboot to get it working again. I get the feeling that that "new" hard drive was actually refurbished or repaired. I'm not going to take it back because Microsoft is ending it's support of Win. 8.1 in another month anyway, so I'm just getting a new laptop. Very disappointed though, this USED TO BE a good shop. read more

Can't say enough about Jose and his ability to make a customer happy. Had issues with my Dell tower and within a short time, I was back in business. Purchased a laptop that I now use as backup when the Dell is feeling like it doesn't want to do its work. Had printer problem at home and Jose made a home call, took a very short time and I was in business again with both the tower and laptop printing problem. His fee is so reasonable in comparison to the two other quotes (about 60% less than the 'big box' guys) I received. He was on time and on task! The other day i walked in because I need to buy a new computer for school and am a Mac fan. I was very disappointed when i walked in, i asked if they were dog friendly and the man just asked me what my issue was. My Mac crashed, it wouldn't start, it wouldn't change from the loading screen with the Apple, and then when it did, it would show a big sign. I thought it was a goner. I tried googling and fixing it myself since I'm tech savvy, but it didn't work so well. I ended up looking up various shops around San Bernardino, saw a lot of shops that steal computers and don't return them, so I was weary of just leaving it anywhere. I found this shop after looking at multiple reviews stating that the shop had awesome service, cheap, affordable, and quick. So that sold me. I came in, they gave me a estimate, not even 3 hrs later they called with the diagnosis of the computer. The hard drive had 4% life left. I was shocked. So they gave me a price, told me to think about it and call back if they wanted me to fix it. I thought about it, called back, told them to go ahead. BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! My laptop screen needed replacing because a year back the lid was closed while I had something sitting on my keyboard and the LCD cracked internally. I had been using an external monitor to get my work done, until I finally got tired of not being able to use my laptop while being out and about, so I made the time to get it replaced. Other than this issue, I have never had ANY issues with my laptop before. I did typical diligence in selecting this location based on previous reviews I had read on them. I was quite happy that the replacement was done same day on a Saturday 6-30-18. Jose was not there, but his employee (Javier, I think) was there and he seemed kind enough. He asked I pay cash up front (which I happily did) I even left & went to an ATM to pull the cash and came back to pay. Then he said it should be ready in 2 hours or less and he would also call to let me know when it was ready. I got the call a half hour early (awesome so far!) While picking it up once the job was completed, I was told there is a 15 day warranty and he told me to enter my password to have a look at my screen. Everything looked great (and wow, he even cleaned it too... so I am a happy camper... or so I thought!?) Well... UNTIL I actually really got back home later that day and actually began to use it. I COULDN'T!!! Suddenly, while at my office workstation (where I ALWAYS have worked and where my external monitor is still set up) I hardly had any wifi signal. I didn't think much of it at first and figured I had to restart my router, but nothing. Everything in my home worked fine with the router, but my laptop would NOT pick up a strong enough signal. THEN, my computer kept going black?? I tried several times to restart it and it just would not turn back on. This is when I really began to panic. I couldn't call them because they were already closed (they close at 3pm on Saturdays) and I knew they were closed on Sunday, too... So I was stuck! I called the first chance I could on Monday morning (today) and Jose answered. I kindly let him know that I believed something may have happened to the wifi cable as the screen was replaced, but he barely let me speak to say much of anything and kept saying that replacing the screen had nothing to do with the wifi signal... which I KNOW isn't true. I didn't even get a chance to mention the few other things that had happened because I began to realize, what's the point... I can't go back to this guy... his behavior gave me a bunch of red flags to let me know he is not trustworthy. He said I could take it back in to him and he could do a "diagnostics" but there's no way to know for sure what happened, AND that I also had to pay an ADDITIONAL $45 (on top of the $165 I had already paid) just to have him check it out!!! When I could finally try and get a word in edgewise, I said that wasn't right and this is not the way customers should ever be treated. He kept saying there was no way that he could know for sure that the problem didn't exist before I took it to him, even though I repeatedly told him it didn't. Jose, if you can't trust your customers... Your customers will NEVER be able to trust you; nor refer you... and rightfully so... they SHOULDN'T. People should never be treated poorly, nor should they be treated as a disposable object (especially once you have already earned money from them for your services.) As I told you on the phone... it wasn't just about the money... it is the principal behind how you can ask MORE out of a customer, despite the fact you could have actually honored your warranty and easily taken a look to reconnect a loose wire or something, but the fact is due to how you reacted, I will not dare to put my computer back into your incapable hands ever again... because I actually believe you would make matters even worse! (Maybe this is how your run your business; a shady way of squeezing more money out of people to create another problem for them to have to use you for... this makes zero sense if you really think about it.) Your establishment can not be trusted. Sad but true. Folks... please shop elsewhere for your computer repair needs... I'm certain if you use this place for anything, at some point in the very near future you will regret it. I dislike ever having to speak negatively about anyone or anything, but I realize how important these reviews really are. Had I been able to read a (real) review like the one I have just written, I would have known to shop elsewhere before paying/losing not only my hard-earned money, time, but most importantly... my peace of mind. My peace of mind is non-negotiable. Do unto others, as you wish done unto you. Treat others as you wish to be treated... Your establishment should put these core principals into practice. Not only have you lost a fantastic customer, but you will also have lost those who are wise enough to heed my warning and protect themselves as well. read more

Overpriced laptops from 2013 . All their inventory is based from older computers. I went in there to try to buy a used i7 laptop. But after taking note. All their computers are old i7 like first and second and third gen. Not a single 6th gen or newer i7 laptop avaliable. They said they would have one ready so I came back the following week and they did. But they overpriced it way to high for a 6th gen Intel procceso. No dedicated gpu and was the 2 core model not even quad core. They tried to sell it to me for $1000 and it was used. Same laptop was selling for $899 on Amazon. Crazy bad business read more
