I was having issues with my PC not recognizing my credentials for the Microsoft apps and mouse cursor moving slow with some programs. Communication was fast and easy. I was able to drop off the PC the next morning since I didn't have time that same day. I got a call back letting me know the repairs were completed and everything was good to go. When I got home everything was working great except I was still having an issue with the mouse cursor running a bit slow when I used Excel. They had me bring the PC back and everything looked good at the shop, they suggested that I test out a wired connection (which they kindly loaned to me) and sure enough that did it. I moved my PC to the other side of my desk and tried my wireless mouse out and everything worked fine. I must have had some kind of interference from my work devices that were on the same side. They provided outstanding service and I'm happy to know that if I ever have any issues with an electronic device I can come here. LIFE SAVERS! My issue was quite minor. I simply needed a female DVI adapter. However, I needed it ASAP! I came by on Christmas Eve and was honestly a bit surprised they were open. I went in to look for cases for individual CDs, they didn't have any stocked up for sale expectedly, but Richie found some paper CD sleeves lying around and put it in a plastic sleeve to protect them from the rain for free. We chatted a bit about changes in the industry and a Christmas present I've been preparing. It felt like a much more comfortable experience than the one I had at Best Buy a few minutes earlier. I hardly ever have to bring my computers into a shop because I normally take great care of them. Unfortunately, this was not the case for one of my computers this time. I have a mid-2014 Macbook Air & a mid-2012 Macbook Pro. I do a lot of graphic art projects so I use each computer for different things. I had to bring my Macbook Air in because one night I accidentally spilled liquid on it (hence why I said I normally take good care of my electronics). I was pretty sure I fried my usb port, which is nbd compared to any other internal damage I could have caused. My Macbook Pro I had to bring in because since it's about 8 years old it was running extremely slow. So I upgraded the ram & the hard drive...I also installed both myself. So I searched Yelp for local computer repair shops and luckily Nettech was still open. So bought them both into Richardo and explained what happened. He told me he would take a look and get back to me in a few days, which was no problem because I have 3rd one at home. Richardo gave me a call about 2 days later and informed me that Macbook Pro system corrupted when I installed the hard drive (not sure how), which was an easy fix thank goodness. Richardo also informed me that I did in fact burn out my usb port on my Macbook Air, but he wanted to keep it an extra day to make sure I didn't ruin the motherboard (which I didn't thank goodness). Luckily, Richardo was able to block out the usb port, and if I wanted to fix it later I could (which is a lot more expensive). Really thankful for the great customer service and quick turnaround time. I commend the team for working so quickly especially with the amount of technical problems they've had come in since the pandemic began. read more

Nettech Computers should be the prime destination for fixing your computer problems. I recently had purchased new ram and after installing it I was having some issues starting the pc. I called down and they immediately said to bring it in. I brought it in and within a day they were able to diagnose my problem and fix it for a very reasonable price. After getting it back I thought I was having another issue and called back they told me to bring it back in. I learned it was user error on my end but I bring this up because they didn't not hesitate to have me bring it back in and take a look at what was going on which I loved. Steve and Richardo I believe are the gentleman who helped me and because of them this is the place I will be bringing my pc for any future issues and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for help. I called NETTECH on 3/31/25 about my slow HP windows 10 laptop. I told them it appears to be a hard drive problem even though many diagnostic tests did not specify that issue. They quoted $39.99 to diag the problem and if it needed a SSD drive they quoted a price for that too. I brought it in. The next day they called and verified the hard drive was bad so it would be best to replace it with a SSD drive. They quoted a total price of $195. I got a 250 Gb solid state drive and they copied the files from my old drive to the newer one. They also upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11. I was very pleased with their professionalism and expertise. My only regret is that I should have purchased a 500 GB solid state drive. This is a 4 1/2 year old laptop and I did not want to spend too much money on the repair and I most certainly did not to purchase a new laptop because I already have one. I have to say this repair center is my better than CPR repair. You can tell that NETTECH is much more experienced and knowledgeable and they have a large work area whereas CPR did not have much work space to diagnose PC issues. When I last took this laptop to CPR they told me the problem was a virus. I asked them what type and they said they did not recall. When I took my laptop home from CPR it was still very slow just booting up. I don't recall what I paid them to diag the problem however it was too much because they couldn't fix the first time. read more

Ricardo did excellent work on restoring my computer that had somehow been hacked by a virus. All of a sudden my computer went into a loop and I could not get out of it. Very frustrating. I ended up taking my computer to this shop after reviewing other options in this area. Upon walking into the shop, it looked really professional and the displays were well done, which to me was a good first sign. Upon talking with Ricardo about my situation, which I thought was due to trying unsuccessfully trying to go back to Windows 10 after I upgraded to Windows 11 because of problems with the new version 11. Ricardo said he would look into it and get back with me on what he found. He was back in touch with me after about an hour and he also knew that I was under some time pressure. He clearly explained what he found and said the computer would be ready for pickup about 3 hours after I brought it in. It turned out to be a virus that made the computer shut down, not my trying to reinstall Windows 10 instead of version 11. I was impressed that he also cleaned up a lot of other inefficiencies in my computer setup and it now works flawlessly again, in fact even a little better. Nettech is my new go-to computer repair service. I had been going to a mom & pop shop in the computer repair business near me but they closed recently since the owner decided to finally retire.
