Boy if you have any computer problems this is the place to go. PCFix is family owned since 2002. Wayne the owner is patient, knowledgable, friendly, and reasonably priced. I thought I needed a new motherboard and instead of just getting a new motherboard he looked up first the service tag to see if it was under warranty. Come to find out it was originated from Dell in Canada and he spent over an hour on the phone for me with Dell being passed around and finally resolved my issue. He has a magic trick that worked and instead of replacing the motherboard it was less than a $100 fix. As I was at PCDix his phone rings constantly with people calling in their computer problems which he walks them through to try to help them or instructs them to bring it in. He is knowledgable and very helpful. My other lap top is so slow and old that I was going to get a new one but I found out he can clean everything up in it and make it super fast and I won't have to buy a new one. This is also my first experience writing a review on Yelp. I brought my computer in last week due to too many issues to describe here. Wayne recommended a complete start over for my computer. He did a great job of breathing new life into my old machine. Not only that, the computer was ready two days earlier than anticipated. Also, he gave me several recommendations for ways to protect my computer I was unaware of. I took it home. It was running great, however some web sites were not allowing video to play. I called him at his closing time and he gladly volunteered his time to walk me through (over the phone). Just taking time out after hours, with a crazy cheerful attitude, was going above and beyond. Amazing service and amazing people. I procrastinated on getting my computer fixed for months and finally made the decision to get it done since I am a college student. 4 month old ASUS computer hard drive crashed (total loss of all data) I had no backup-(will never let that happen again). Response through the MFG was send it in and we will look at it and repair as needed-2-3 weeks minimum! Need this for work! PC-fix tried everything then last ditch attempt using old school program that "rebuilds and works" each sector at a time (above my head) recovered 90+% of my data (Asus AND a data recovery company BOTH told me that the data was lost-POSSIBLE recovery starting at $1,500) So they really saved me big! I visited PC-Fix on a Tuesday evening 40 minutes before closing. Never been here before! They were very accommodating to look at my PC right then. This was one of the best pc repair experiences that I have ever had. I was having major problems to the point where my pc would not even turn on and I realized that I would need professional help to fix it. I stopped in because we had an old desktop that wouldn't start up the gentlemen was really helpful he took a look at it and told me it was the power supply he even helped me locate a replacement power supply online and showed me how to change it out without ever asking for a penny.
