I am always looking for a deal. Like me, I am sure you've been to Best Buy and been told it will take more than a week before they can get to your order, there is no tech on hand that's qualified to diagnose your specific problem, or they have to call corporate to see if a solution is even possible. Like you, I shop too. When I went to other smaller businesses in Chino, Chino Hills, Diamond Bar, Montclair, Pomona, and Upland. I've tried many. I was either quoted way too high, got ripped-off, or was jacked-around. In one case, after I paid a deposit for parts, they went out of business. At Computer Quality Plus, I've had my computer returned the same day, and the parts and labor were often quoted at half the price. These high level experts are the very best technicians in town. They are honest and trustworthy. I would not waste my time going elsewhere. Nor should you. Why listen to my recommendation? I have a bachelors degree in computer science and multiple masters degree's in engineering. I'm a long time local resident, long time customer, and I recommend you use this company for their fast service. They are true masters at their trade and the turn around time for troubleshooting, isolating the problem, having the right parts on-board, repair, or upgrade is faster and cheaper than I can do myself. Over more than a decade, I've used their services not only because they are fast and efficient, but most importantly, as name states, "... they supply quality service!" In addition too the many services I felt important to mention, they offer excellent pricing on both new, refurbished, and used computers depending on one's budget, and I've bought many. Each comes with no cost warranty, repair, and service guarantees. For the business and home users alike, they can recover your lost information, remove viruses, get your data backed-up, and can get you back online for less expense, and in half the time. This is important, as many have sensitive files they can not do without. When you enter their offices, you will immediately notice everyone is attentive and courteous. There is no back room lolly-gagging at this company, while you are left standing at a customer counter endlessly ringing a bell, feeling like a fool who is having their time wasted. Nor is there the sound of a telephone ringing for 10 minutes with no one to answer it. Instead the entire staff are there next to you, accessible, on the floor, and working. I've personally purchased a half dozen computers direct, and sent in co-workers, neighbors, friends, relatives, and my very own retired parents. Never once, has anyone I known ever had a single complaint. They are all happy customers. In fact, I've never written a recommendation before. I have been using Quality Plus Computer Service for all of my business and personal computer needs for repairs and building new custom computers for nearly the last 20 years. They have built 15-20 different custom computers for me built to my needs and specifications. Numerous times they have done same day repairs and kept my business functioning when most repair services were busy quoting me how many days the repairs would require. Their prices I have never been able to beat anywhere, not even Fry Electronics and one of their giant warehouse sales could beat what Quality Plus offered, along with immediate same day service. I cannot say enough good things about Peter and his staff, for they have saved me more times than I can count. I was there just today because a program would not load on one of our laptops. Peter had me up and running before noon, and while I was sitting there, one couple came in because their computer would not turn on. Peter had them back up and running in 5 minutes time. Another customer needed her laptop repaired, but she also needed to use the data on her computer when meeting with several of her own clients this week. To repair her computer, Peter first needed to take it apart to ascertain the parts needed to complete the repair, so Peter offered at no charge to her, to take her computer apart just to ascertain the part requirements, and then put it all back together again so she could use her computer until she could let him have it for a couple of hours to install the new parts. So he doubled his labor costs and time for the job just to help out his customer and he did it without charging her a penny more. Try and get that kind of service from the GEEK Squad!!! In the last 20 years, NOT ONCE has Peter given me a quote for a repair or a custom built new system and then later called to increase the quote for any reason. When he quotes a job, he stands behind it 100%. He also stands behind his work 100%. He will clearly explain exactly what needs to be done and why, so that even someone like me can understand. I first found Quality Plus Computer Service during the pandemic when my computer started over heating, the sound was crackling, the touch screen didn't always work, and then finally dying suddenly which was the last thing I needed at the time. I sent it into dell since I had a warranty services. But, they told me the motherboard needed replacing and would cost $900 extra. I said no thank you. I decided to get a second opinion, so after a Google search I found Quality Plus Computer Service was still open. I went over there and within hours I was told that all that was wrong was my computer battery had corroded. They ordered the piece which was 190 with labor fees and tax. When they installed it all my computer problems were gone. I was so happy. I decided to take in my other laptop which had the same issues and dell told me was again the motherboard and would be $700 to fix but they didn't make the parts anymore so they couldn't help me. As it turns out it was the battery again and it was replaced a total of $150. It worked great too! No issues with it. So I had 2 great working laptops! I was so happy with their services and gave my second laptop to my boyfriend. So when my coconut water fell on my computer when I tripped, I immediately thought of Quality Plus Computer Services. I took it back to them as soon as I could. It was close to closing and they looked at it right away. Within 30 mins they called me, I hadn't brought it in soon enough to salvage it. The sugar in the drink corroded it. But, Peter and Ryan were able to recover my files which I was very happy about since I had just downloaded a bunch of my sister's wedding photos. Peter also offered me another laptop that would be equivalent for a great price. Since I need a laptop for school (I had an exam due that week) and work, I decided to take the deal. I run a small business and my computer suddenly crashed, just after completing a 25-page report which took me hours to prepare over a period of days. What's more, the client needed it ASAP and I had only about one week to spare. I had recently backed up my data but it was the evening before the crash occurred so I lost the report and did not believe it was auto-saved in WORD because I was using such an old version.What to do?--start working on the report all over again?? Initially, I sought assistance from The Geek Squad but they wanted to run a diagnostic on the computer ($100/takes 24 hours) just to confirm the hard drive was damaged which is what they suspected. If their suspicion was confirmed, I was told they would have to send it to Louisville, KY for any data retrieval. (They didn't give me a price quote or tell me how long that would take.) But I needed it NOW and was getting days closer to the time deadline for the report to be submitted. Luckily, I stumbled on these many many 5 star reviews for Quality Plus Microsystems in Chino Hills. I certainly was impressed with the review ratings but I must admit, I eyed them with some skepticism----how could a business get so many? Well, now I know. I arrived at the business at about 6 pm, an hour before they closed, and Peter promised to do everything he possibly could to retrieve the data (if it even existed on the hard drive) in time. Mike immediately removed the hard drive in my presence and started on the data retrieval effort. Ultimately, Mike was successful in retrieving all of my data in just a couple of days, INCLUDING the autorecovery folders where he found my report-----all 25 pages of it! I have never written a Yelp review before but I just can't help myself! I used to hate the thought of having to take my computers to get fixed. It was always so time consuming and very costly. A couple of years ago my desktop suddenly started acting up and shutting off. My friend recommended that I go see Peter at Quality Plus Computers because, many times, they had come to her rescue and she was very happy with their service. At the time I lived a good 35 minutes away but I knew I was going to be in the area so I grabbed my tower and took it in. Ok, so first of all, they are the nicest people! Every one of them! They hooked up my tower and found the problem in just a couple of minutes. Then they proceeded to tell ME how to fix the problem should it ever arise again so I wouldn't have to come back. Now that's integrity! AND they only charged me $25!!! I was floored! Never has a computer repair cost me under $100. It was so worth the drive. Fast forward to this past week when my laptop decided to act up. I didn't think twice about where I would go to get it fixed. My husband and I walked in and were once again greeted by some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! They opened the laptop and within seconds told me that I had pushed a button that froze the mousepad (totally didn't surprise me that it was a problem created by me!) What did surprise me was that they would not charge me anything! Something else they do there is sell refurbished computers. My husband has always wanted a Mac desktop computer. Well guess what we got? A refurbished Mac with programs that were completely updated for 1/4 the price of a brand new one! Hands down, Quality Plus is the best computer repair shop I have ever found. Peter and his team are extremely good at their craft. This is the third shop that I have dealt with over the past 20 years and I only wish I would have known about them years ago!! My first time using their fine services was several years back. My wife's laptop just got so slow. The shop that I had been using went out of business, so I called a realtor friend for the name of her computer guy. She gave me the number for Quality Plus and assured me they were the shop I needed. She was right on. My wife's laptop was over 10 years old. Peter gave me 3 options ---- salvage her old system, upgrade to a Widows 10 system or purchase a refurbished laptop that was only 2 years old with Windows 10, for virtually the same cost as either of the other choices. It was certainly a not a hard decision to make. My wife is very, very happy. I have used their services a few times since, in fact just last week, and I can most certainly give them 2 thumbs up. If you are looking for a waiting room with plush carpet and a big screen TV, this is not your place. BUT if you are looking for expert service with very fair prices-- offered by a friendly staff that REALLY knows computers inside and out---then you have found your computer repair shop. Hi, my name's Mykaio I was first introduced to Quality Plus Computer over 13 years ago through my mother on my earliest of computers yeah you know the big ol' box screened ones hahah xD ALL the way through to my most recent business as of yesterday! This most recent time I had bought a new laptop from them, that I wanted upgraded by the way (with no problem). The floor salesman at the time had misquoted me a lower price of a little more than $200 and Peter, the owner of the store had honored the price quoted without any sign of disapproval. Excellent, quick and affordable service. During my research for a computer repair store I found this place and gave it a shot due to the positive feedback. It was the right choice! I consider myself pretty knowledgeable in computers as I've built my own(proud of this!) and spend most of my time in front of one, mostly for gaming :). But over the years my computer has slowed down drastically compared to when I first put it together. Eventually it got to the point where it was affecting all browsing and gaming. I used a lot of different anti virus/anti malware programs which helped a little, but the problem was still there and I couldn't figure it out. I bit the bullet and took it in to have it checked out. Peter and his entire staff have been stellar, no matter what my problem has been they are second to none when it comes to taking care of it and giving me support, which is something we all know is the most important thing in the world when it comes to computers. I always tell the new customers I see at his shop they are out of their minds if they go anywhere else. There is nowhere better. I think I have been going there for around 20 years and never regretted it, not once. I usually end up giving him more than he wants to charge or else I feel guilty because his prices, coupled with his friendly honest service and help are so low priced I want to be sure he stays around as long as I live, so I try to give him more than he charges.
