I was referred by a friend a while ago and also occasionally there's a cafe I go to next door. My old Mac Pro laptop seemed like it was at the end of its life, so I remembered them and went to seek some answers. From the moment I came in the CompuTech place , the team was kind, patient, and professional. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my explained everything clearly, and gave me an honest estimate. With all the work and the age of my computer, they offered me an alternative. I ended up buying one of their used laptops ( another similar newer model Mac Pro) that was newer than mine and overall would make better sense as an investment in the end. So they would transfer the data over from my old computer. It was a great deal. What really stood out was how fast they were able to turn it around - they fixed it sooner than expected, saved my data and I was so happy. Just recently after purchasing the laptop from them, I am a teacher with a lot of students & earlier that day I had used the computer but when I got it home it wasn't turning on-there was no power... It was weird! . So, I took it in and they said they would have a look and get back to me since it did not immediately turn on. They quickly got back to me and let me know it was an issue with my mother board, they told the usual fix for this was about $275 but that they would only charge $125 because I had purchased it from them. I thought that was fair. I reached out again a few days later and they said it was more complicated- apparently some liquid had gotten in there and they had more serious repairs to make. Knowing this information really freaked me out because it's my main computer that I use at my office/school/at home. I was very concerned. They took a little more time to repair and I understood why. I was honestly expecting for them to charge me more, but they were kind enough to stand by their original quote. I saw that the time and labor actually was $375 & I was so appreciative of them doing such great service. My computer was back to normal (whew!) and they even followed up afterward to make sure everything was working perfectly. It's rare to find such knowledgeable, caring, thorough yet affordable service these days. I highly recommend Ash & the CompuTech team to anyone needing computer repair or tech help -- you won't be disappointed, it's a hidden gem to keep. Bless you guys & thanks again!     I brought my laptop in for repair (power failure) and was initially told by the technician that it…read moreshould be fixed within a week. Since it was during a holiday, I didn't want to bother them too much, but I didn't receive any updates for nearly three weeks. When I finally called to check the status, the owner told me they couldn't repair it. While I understand that not every repair is possible, I would have preferred to be informed sooner so I could retrieve my laptop. Later that same day, the owner called back and said they might be able to source a donor laptop to swap parts and asked for an additional two weeks. I agreed to give them more time. However, after the promised 2 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. The owner didn't have an update and asked me to call back the next day. When I did, the owner became upset, claiming he had told me to call back at noon, which he ABSOLUTELY had not. Why does it take a day just to check the status anyways? BTW I called at 11:50 am! Are you F ing kidding me you are upset for 10 minutues (which I was not even aware of) after a month of no response? His reaction was VERY unprofessional. He then calls me for the first time at 12:00 pm to tell me they still couldn't fix the laptop. I picked up my laptop and took it to an old friend who used to do repair work. Even though he's semi-retired and farther away, he diagnosed the issue correctly and had the laptop running again within three days. This may have been an isolated experience, but I highly recommend you avoid this place. I won't be returning!

    I've been a long time customer and I hate to say how disappointed I've been these past couple of…read moremonths. We use this company to manage all our phone lines as well our company's network. The owner, Gio works based on his mood. One day things are running smoothly and another day it's a mess. Our phones and internet doesn't run properly and he turns his cellphone off so there's no way of getting in communication with him. Also this recent weekend, he showed up unannounced and decide to clean up a network that was working completely fine. Now Monday comes around and our internet and phones are completely down. Gio shows up with an intern whom he instructs all my staff not to talk to. He promises to fix the problem within 15 minutes which later turns in to 2.5 hours. Gio decides to walk off on the job without informing me or any managers until a couple of hours later when he decides to email us a letter he will be back in the evening since he couldn't complete the job when the office is running. How is this the client's fault? We had a working network. How does one decide randomly to come into their client's office and take their network apart and fix when it is working completely fine? This is only one of my current issue with this company. It's already Wednesday and company isn't working as it used to since Gio again is avoiding our calls and emails. To top things off, he takes our completely brand new chrome cast which he advised that we need to purchase since the current one is 3 years old. We've sent him several messages asking for our property back and he never responds to any of our emails. This isn't the first occasion, every time he comes in an item is constantly missing. What kind of company likes to work during the evening and not interact with his client. He only comes in when he pleases and has not yet returned our keys or our items. I think this is a lesson learn, you cannot always forgive and forget when someone acts shady. All I can say is if you're looking for someone to screw you over this is the company to use. If you want someone reliable who completes their job and responds to their client on a timely manner and during working hours. PLEASE look elsewhere!!!

No matter what time of day we call, he is always sure to get out to us within 24 hours. He is a very professional and reliable person to work with. I'm not very computer savvy, so I bug him every week with a new question. But he is always ready to walk me through any problem I may have, no matter how minor... or annoying.
