My hard drive suddenly crashed and I looked for help from someone I felt I could trust and would not charge me an arm and a leg. Dan responded and was very polite and quoted a fair price. He communicated clearly with me every step of the way so that I knew what was happening and what to expect. He also stayed within his quote and delivered my working laptop in a matter of a day. I highly recommend Dan and greatly appreciate his work ethic. read more

Dan is professional , responsive and very easy to work with. Highly recommended if you have personal computer issues.

I had an old work laptop, with encryption on hard drive, we thought we need a new drive, Dan took away my laptop and was able to resolve without a somewhat pricy new drive. Refunded the price of drive and charged just labor. Wow, what a true and honest guy. 10/10 and will use and recommend him to all. read more

Dan squared away a few technical issues I had with a computer in exceptionally fast time. Keeping this guy in my phone book for sure.

I had trouble with a printer that exceeded my skill set, so I requested help on Yelp. Dan responded with the lowest estimate and the reviews were good so I gave him a try. Regretfully, he couldn't fix it either (nor could my IT guy at work) but he certainly worked hard on it and was very responsive. Helped with my mouse problem as well and it wasn't even part of the bargain. I recommend him if you have an IT problem. read more

Dan did a great job helping me migrate a bunch of scattered data from an old finicky Mac on it's last legs to a new rocket fast I-Mac. I may have been able to migrate some of the data on my own, but it was reassuring to have an expert running the show. Now I am triple backed up with a back up hard drive, and on the cloud. 10,000 photos are now secured forever!!! He also quickly set up a new cable modem and wireless router for me......now I am blazing from website to website with a lightning fast new computer system while streaming video all throughout my house on three TVs. He told me what hardware to buy, and what not to buy (there are so many competing products out there who would know what kind of router is the best?). Now I am blazing at 181Mbs (before we did the upgrade I was lucky if I ever got over 25Mbs). Also, Dan was very flexible with my schedule and fit me in very quickly when I needed him. I'll definitely have him back again, and I recommend him to anyone who needs someone who knows what they are doing for anything computer and tech related. read more

Dan is a true professional. Knew what he is doing and charged a fair price

I had a PC that was overheating and needed some recommendation on parts, Dan came to the conclusion that the mini itx case that i was using wasnt getting enough airflow with no real fan intake and a closed off design. He helped me find a new case as well as some nice upgraded components, he transplanted the pc into the new case and there was an immediate difference in temp. The new setup runs about 15-20 degrees cooler! Thanks Dan! read more

I am so wonderfully surprised! I had a very unique problem where my computer would restart every time I put it under a certain load. (exclusively gaming). I had tried EVERYTHING...so I thought. Dan seems to be wonderfully knowledgeable and pleasantly proficient. He was the first, AND ONLY to respond to my problem out of many requests, to many other businesses, and he did it all for a good review! How wonderful. You have earned my future business! Here is your respectfully earned review, Mr. Rubin. Thank you, and God bless you and your family. read more

I found Dan on Yelp and I'm very happy I did. My computer wouldn't start and I hadn't backed up my data in a couple of months. Dan came to our house with mask on (COVID times) and picked up my hard drive to try to back up my data and troubleshoot the issue. Turns out that the latest Microsoft update was causing my system to crash. Dan was able to back up all my files/pictures/data and reinstalled Windows 10. After setting up my system again and after mentioning to him that my son was having some connectivity issues with his gaming computer, he recommended that I purchase a separate router to provide a better signal. He also had a 5 GHz adapter that he provided to plug into my hard drive to improve the WiFi connection. I have my computer back and my son is so happy he can successful game again. Dan's prices are very responsible too. I would highly recommend. He went above and beyond! read more

Holy SMOKES. I asked Dan Rubin to come out and see if he could tweak our internet connection speed. We've got MonkeyBrains, but I was still getting only 0.1 Mbps download and 1.1 upload on my computer, and my wife wasn't getting much better than that on her pad. I figured Dan would say we needed a new router (ours is a 802.11.n, about 5 or 6 years old). Instead, within about 25 minutes, he switched the channels of the existing router, woke up a dormant antenna, did some fine tuning, and all of a sudden I've got 40.3 Mbps down and 53.1 up. Ssssskkkhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrrjjjjjjjjjjjj!!!...(sound of SR-71 Blackbird flying by). All for only forty bucks. We'll have him back to put in a new router sometime, but honestly I feel no pressure to do so now. read more
