Ka was so helpful when I had reached out to inquire about my PC issues. I just let him know I'd be in at this day and this time and I was easily able to meet him as scheduled. He ran some tests and took a look at everything, was super knowledgable and answered all of my questions with no problem. My PC is a prebuilt and kind of old so I didn't expect it to be resolved. He gave some advice on what to do and when I got home and did what he instructed, the lag and random shut downs no longer happened. I appreciated how he took his time and went out of his way to try multiple things without charging by the hour. He is very honest and I would completely trust him for all of my future issues and questions. He also does custom builds based around your needs and budget, so once I am ready for one, I would love to get one built through him. He has shown some example parts and some of his builds and they look amazing! If you have any questions or issues that you are unsure of, Ka is your go to person :) read more

This review is LONG overdue! I came here back in December to have my PC inspected after my cousin and I built it ourselves but couldn't get it to turn on T-T Ka took his time thoroughly inspecting everything and figuring out what was wrong. It's very clear that he's genuinely passionate about what he does and takes pride in his work. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the entire process. He even has a really cute dog that would walk around the store. So not only do you get great service, you also get to play with an adorable dog while you're there. How cool is that?!! On top of the amazing service, his pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would 100% recommend Ka to anyone having PC or other tech related issues, and I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need help again! Wanted to note that I wasn't asked or incentivized to leave this review, but I genuinely felt like this place deserved the recognition. It's rare to find someone who cares this much about their work, and I really really appreciated Ka and his service! read more

This is for my son's laptop, he's in Westminster; Ka was fast in answering my questions and giving a quote over the phone. I took my laptop in and confirmed what was needed, was given the cost for repair which is what I was quoted, told me it would be a few days before part received, I started talking to Ka on Fri, by the following Fri my laptop was fixed. I paid exactly what was quoted and it works perfectly. I would definitely use this company again and refer friends and family to them. read more

Ka is honestly the guy you want working on your PC, My computer was completely messed up, I couldn't restore it, couldn't install Windows, nothing was working. I thought it was pretty much done for. Ka went through everything step by step, figured out the actual issue, and somehow had it fixed in like 2 hours. What made it even better is he didn't just fix it and hand it back, he explained what happened, showed me what caused it, and even gave me tips on how to improve my fan setup and cooling. Super chill, super knowledgeable, and doesn't try to upsell or BS you. On top of all that, the price was honestly the best I could find and super reasonable for the amount of work he did. I really only trust him with my build now and he's the only person I'll go to for anything PC related. If your computer is acting up, Ka is 100% the person you should go to read more

My MacBook was running very hot and the fans were also so loud. I found this computer shop location close to my convenience and decided to give them a call. The owner was very helpful and friendly over phone, he agreed to take a look at my laptop to assess the issue. Once he open up the back cover of the laptop, he showed me how dusted my system was and how the fans were clogged up with layers of dust. Then he cleaned it up and went out of his way to re-apply thermal paste for a better cooling system. It was such an amazing result, my MacBook runs like new, much more efficiently and also resumed to its Smooth & Quiet state. I was pleased with the price as well, Thank you so much for the help. I greatly appreciate it! read more

Ka is really knowledgeable and passionate about computers. I think I know a bit more than the average Joe, just enought to get myself in trouble, but Ka is an expert. I took in my gaming desktop after I accidentally corrupted the bios on the motherboard trying to do a bios flash update. Unfortunately it's a common issue on the motherboard I had. Ka was super patient and tried manually updating the bios chip with a programmer. He even bought a different kind of connector to see if he could salvage the motherboard. He took the time to explain everything and give me options to get my system working again. Unfortunately, the motherboard was beyond fixing and needed to be upgraded anyways. Ka gave me some good recommendations and what to look for in purchasing a new motherboard. Once I got the new board from Amazon, he pulled out all the parts and put it all back together with the new motherboard. He even upgraded the system to Windows 11. What he charged me for his services was also very reasonable considering the effort he put in to troubleshoot the issue. Super helpful, super knowledgable, definitely recommended! read more

Got the job done at a good price! Gave good advice and answered all my questions. Will be going back for my future computer repairs.

I brought in a custom built gaming PC for Ka to examine. I initially messaged Ka through Yelp chat and got a quick response back. My PC would not boot at all after upgrading my GPU. Initially I was worried that other PC components shorted out but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't just the mobo that died on me. I came in near closing time as I wanted to drop off my PC and Ka asked a few questions regarding my PC and I voiced my concerns. I was surprised that he was willing to take a quick look at it despite it being nearing closing as he opened up my PC case and checked if it was something related to the PSU among other things. The next day he gave me another call as he did a few more tests and concluded that the motherboard was the main cause. I went to MicroCenter that came day and swapped out the motherboard for a new one and he offered to install it for me and put my PC back together for a reasonable price. He was even kind enough to help carry the PC back all the way to my car. Too many electronic repair shops tend to nickel and dime you for the simplest of procedures but I never got that vibe here. read more

I can't believe I forgot to review this business, my computer was unbelievably slow! I found Ka on yelp, and with great reviews I decided to give Ka a try, dude is the man! If you want your computer humming! And he got it done in no time! I he quoted 3 days, but he got it done in 24 hours! A lot of work! He had great advice on moving forward backing up info and security. Don't wait like I did, give Ka a call. Pricing is more than fair also! read more

I came in with issues around my new power supply that I had bought the day prior to coming. Ka was super helpful with explaining each step of the process. The issue was that one of the SATA cables was being reused so it wasn't compatible with the PSU so the computer wasn't being turned on as a result. I was super satisfied with that alone but Ka went an extra mile and helped me organize my cables and even setup LEDs that I've been way too lazy to bother doing. He gave me some recommendations on getting another fan for when it starts warming up during the summer months. The price was also very reasonable and fair. It's hard to find computer businesses that are able to work on custom PCs. Would highly recommend going to Ka for any computer issues! Amazing work! read more

Somebody spilled soda on my hp spectrum x360 laptop at work....and praying to the computer gods that there would be no damages...sadly not true. I actually call a few places before I knew Ignite Computer Repair was the perfect solution for me. I texted a picture of my laptop and some info about how the damage occurred and within the hour ICP called me with an update. ICP told me that I would definitely have to replace the keyboard or the singular piece that the keyboard comes in....and depending on which one it is for my laptop the price would reflect accordingly. ICP got back to me with the part needed to order to replace my keyboard and gave me an ETA on the shipment. Once the part arrived ICP let me know immediately and as soon as I dropped my laptop off...it was fixed within a few hours. I highly recommend ICP for all your electronic repair needs. ICP was professional and educated in his craft. ICP made it quick, fast and easy for me to fix my major problem, in addition to being extremely affordable. Other places that I had called made it mandatory for them to see my laptop in person, but ICP did everything over the phone initially which made it really convenient for someone that works 14 hour days, 6 days a week. When speaking to ICP over the phone....I knew he knew exactly what he was talking about when it came to my laptop. Thank you ICP for your awesomeness. You are definitely my #1 go to solution for any future electronic repair needs. read more

Very speedy response from Ka. He was able to fix my Lenovo laptop back bottom & back cover. He was honest about the laptop problems & told me that the front cover does not have to be replaced. He ordered the parts from Ebay & I paid for the parts, plus tax & $50 labor cost. Pick up was easy during COVID, as I messaged him ahead of time and we agreed on a time. My laptop came back in pretty good condition. He told me that he added black tape to my laptop, since the laptop would not close properly, and I was glad he told me ahead of time. The right side of my laptop lost sensor, and he was also upfront about it. I didn't asked him to fix the LED problem & he told me my laptop was still usable & fixing the screen would cost more money which isn't necessary unless I really want to. He didn't try to con me for money. Ka is honest & reliable. read more

Wow! My socks have been blown off....Ignite Computer Professionals is run by Ka who is incredible! I came in with a 10 year old Dell PC that I thought was on it's last legs. Ka was kind, thorough, and took time to explain everything to this non-techie person. He was going to put a SSD into the computer and clone everything. He told me it would run overnight (cloning takes time) and it would probably be done within 24 hours. 3 hours later, I received a call that it was done! I was flabbergasted! Done! I picked it up the following day and again, Ka spent the time with me to show me how to clean the inside of the PC, and how much faster it was now running. SERIOUSLY AMAZING. Full stop. This young man is gifted, honest, and kind. Totally satisfied with Ignite Computer Professionals and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! read more
