I did get a notification on my iPhone that read "screen is not from an Apple approved provider" or something a long those lines. So when it is time to exchange that phone and get a discount. Bought a phone through this businesses storefront and when I got home I reset it to ensure it was fresh as possible and it was "bricked" there was no way to open the phone because it said that it belonged to a hospital and needed a specific PIN code to open the phone. I went back to the store, they offered to over ride it as it was when I bought it, I said no I don't want a phone that needs special software to override something like that, got a refund and left. THE WORST PLACE! I do not write reviews often, but when I tell you NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. Currently I am in icloud jail and locked out of my account, I explained that I have a fully functional iphone with a broken screen, and need it replaced so I can reset my password to restore on my NEW phone. He stated they could fix it, for $120. I agreed, then he explained after I reset my password he would need the screen back. It is a family run business, they have been around for 3 years, It's my hope we can keep them because it's refreshing to have new businesses excited to serve; Nice Repair does just that "serve". You can count on their work that they don't give up searching what problems your device is having, my son's desktop computer was 2 years old and the owner, "Abdul" kept working on it and like all of us, sometimes they hit a certain limitation. So he called his peer to come in within that week (asking if my pick up could be delayed? Of course I want it fixed properly so that's part of it) and on that Sunday, "Ben" talked with me about what issues we experienced which was that my son's computer was overheating, restarting on it's own, during games it would crash. Ben "the repair guy" emulates what my son does, plays the game Valorant for 20 minutes (Ben does not play games so I wish I could have been there) to wait for the game to crash as my son told him repeatedly happened and it would upset other players because their team would lose once my son's play crash freezes or what not. Ben witnessed the computer heat up, crash and realized a certain part of the internal temperature needed to be changed, he educated us that every 6 months computers need cleaning (ours needed deep cleaning) and something else too. Upon pick up, the owner helped carry the desktop which was heavy, to our vehicle; this helped me as I just got out of the hospital and was weak. I didn't want my teenager to carry it because I just paid for it to get fixed and preferred someone who knew repairs are not cheap. It's been almost a week and we've had no issues finally and I haven't heard my son complaining at all. Repair for a desktop was affordable, it is what you would think is fair rather than too much. Wise businesses know, "if you want costumers to come in, you have to charge a price they would pay and not hesitate to wait for service" and they know, in this day and age, everything is electronics so they want you to keep coming in, confident they can fix it. It's a family owned business and there is no monopoly, which means they are honest, respectable and reliable. If you read all the reviews, everyone will tell you about Nice Repairs respectability, honesty and reliability. If you call this place, they pick up the phone rather than a voice message. They concluded 1) Battery was working 2) Now the Phone Power On 3) Touch screen (not operating) After troubleshooting for 19 days they advise me to get rid of the phone. 3rd time the Charm! My wife needed to get her Samsung phone information to her new Motorola Razr+, but the T-Mobile store near Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach couldn't do it. We took it to NiceRepair, where the tech was able to figure out how to do it. Tmobile lied to get a sale but couldn't transfer the data as promised. Buyer beware when dealing with Tmobile.
