Instead of pushing a sale, they focused on helping me. Right away, they figured out the problem and offered a different type of charger that got my laptop up and running. The person at the front desk refused to give me a straight answer about my phone for days, and 3 days later when it was time to pick it up she said it was not able to be fixed and that to transfer data it would be $100. Brought my exceptionally slow desktop computer in for an upgrade from the original mechanical hard drive to an SSD drive. Dealt with Jack, the owner, who was very polite and knowledgeable. He said he would have it done by the end of the day and he did, at what I consider a very reasonable price. Even changed the backup battery since it is an eight-year-old computer. Tested it out when I got home, and it is performing better than when it was new. This is a small shop with personalized service from an owner who is a delight to do business with. HB Laptops does amazing computer repair work, they helped me with a new display for an iPhone 10, a Macbook battery that died and apple couldn't repair and now fixing the logic board in my Macbook. My Macbook died and I hadn't backed the data up since before the pandemic. The Apple Computer tech said that a chip failed in the logic board, and it could not be repaired. I was sick that all of my data was dead to me. Apparently Jack likes the Grand Challenges, he was able to pinpoint the chip failure and sodder in a new chip - just amazing. I had a problem with my HP laptop. Was running an update to the bios on the laptop and when it came time to restart, the laptop kept cycling on and off without giving me a sign-on screen. All it would do is power on and immediately power down...over and over. I took it to HB Laptops and within 3 working days it was repaired and functioning perfectly.
