On Dec 17 my son took his laptop in for a dented cover repair and possible monitor issue. HB Computers said 3 days for the repair. After calling multiple times over 2 weeks he finally spoke to someone on Dec 30 about repair options and cost. We just picked it up today Jan 6. I was put on the phone with the manager Karen when I asked why it took 3 weeks and not the promised 3 days. We took our computer in for 1) repair of an app and 2) retrieving some files. We paid the $70 charge just to look at it. They said three days max to have answer. Over a week later we get a call that they did not fix either request (0 for 2) but offered a used computer for $500. No thanks, not them. Then my elderly mom picked up her computer and what appeared to be theatrics (harassment?) Computer was freezing every time I loaded a specific game. I told them exactly what was happening. They charged me $200+ to diagnose and update the computer but they never tested the PC to check and see if they could re create the issue I was having. I got the PC back and it wasn't working again. Gave it back to them and it worked in their shop. I found out at home that it was software with my steel case headset that was making the game freeze. I would plug in the headset and it would freeze the game. They should have tested the computer when they got it and they would not have had to update the bios and reinstall windows which would have saved me hundreds of dollars. Saying all that, they were nice and attentive but they need to rethink their troubleshooting process to save their customers time and money. read more

I have a personal computer that I've had about 4 years. I like it for what I use it for. I'm not a gamer. Not a ton of videos or photography. Mostly Excel files, Word documents, etc. I just use it for household organization, personal finances, etc. The computer started going crazy. Blanking out on documents. Printers not being recognized. And then coming back again. And other sporadic things like a ghost was in the machine. And super slow. So it sure seemed likely I had viruses. I took my computer to HB. They are super nice. They checked it out. And sure enough viruses were creating most of the problems but my Hard Drive was apparently older technology and on its last legs. So the bottom line is they put in a new hard drive and cleaned up the viruses and now the computer is faster than when I bought it. And their price was 100% fair. No complaints whatsoever. This is where I will go back if I need more help in the future. And I found out they do security cameras and WiFi installs as well so that's good to know. Really liked these folks. My MacBook was not working a whole week. I want to fix my Mac but it was too expensive & I have bad experiences leaving my Mac to someone else. I see this place has a lot of good reviews & it also give 30 day warranty if a problem show up again. Karen & Jesus has to be the nicest people I had ever met. They reassured me that everything will be fine & they even gave me water right while I was waiting. I never been to a place where any technician treat me this nice. My MacBook needed the screen and speakers to be replaced. Since it is an older model, it was more difficult to get the work done. Within an hour Karen gave me few options on how to solve the problem. I had a really complex issue on a computer I built, it was slowly getting more frequent blue screens. I had tested all the components, updated all the drivers, reinstalled windows several times, even reset the bios, but still had the problem. I was worrying I had a bad motherboard and processor. I took it to HB computers and it turned out I had a bad memory stick (although all the testing I had done said it was ok) and a bad install of windows. They replaced the memory, reinstalled windows, updated some additional drivers, and it's worked perfectly ever since. I am very impressed! read more

Fantastic customer service. First time visiting this spot and they had a clean set up with guys in the back taking orders and working on customer builds. Great atmosphere. I came in just for a m.2 standoff and screw for my NVMe memory card to hold into my mobo. Very specific and cheap part and this was my last shot looking around before I just ordered online (I only need one so I didn't want to buy in bulk). They took their time to look and had great customer service for it even tho it wasn't gonna do much for their business. Unfortunately they didn't have it but they still gave me some free screws just in case! Very cool spot. Though this is very late, I would like to keep my word of giving an updated review of my more positive experience the second time around. Initially, I was disappointed in the diagnostic they gave me, as what they reported to me was very vague and uninformative given the amount of time it took for them to give me an answer. This lead to my first experience being a very negative one, and I left a review reflecting this. However, the manager Amir reached out a couple hours after I had posted, in which he offered that he would check over my PC and give me a more thorough report as well as repair my PC free of charge if given the replacement parts. This time around responses and updates were much faster and communication was significantly better, improving my experience to the point where now I would absolutely recommend this business. After using my PC for a while now after the repairs, with it crashing once in a blue moon likely due to just software problems, I can gladly say that this particular location deserves it's reputation of almost 5 stars, as their extensive knowledge in computers is also complimented nicely by the fact that they do look for the customers bests interests from what I've experienced. That and one of the male receptionists, sorry I forgot your name, was very friendly and engaging, making the time spent waiting pass quickly.
