I wonder who has my old hard drive with my personal financial data??? They replaced my hard drive as part of fixing my computer. The old hard drive they gave me when I picked up my computer is someone elses??? The original drive that came with my computer was 1 TB. The old hard drive they gave me is 2 TBs. When I brought the drive back to have them copy another folder for me they said they couldn't find it. I told them I think they may have originally given me the wrong old drive. They wouldn't believe me. Then when I got home I found out that the old drive they gave me was a 2 TB drive. My original old one was only 1 TB. read more

After calling multiple times over 2 weeks he finally spoke to someone on Dec 30 about repair options and cost. We just picked it up today Jan 6. We took our computer in for 1) repair of an app and 2) retrieving some files. We paid the $70 charge just to look at it. They said three days max to have answer. Over a week later we get a call that they did not fix either request (0 for 2) but offered a used computer for $500. No thanks, not them. Then my elderly mom picked up her computer and what appeared to be theatrics (harassment?) Computer was freezing every time I loaded a specific game. I told them exactly what was happening. They charged me $200+ to diagnose and update the computer but they never tested the PC to check and see if they could re create the issue I was having. I got the PC back and it wasn't working again. Gave it back to them and it worked in their shop. I found out at home that it was software with my steel case headset that was making the game freeze. I would plug in the headset and it would freeze the game. They should have tested the computer when they got it and they would not have had to update the bios and reinstall windows which would have saved me hundreds of dollars. Saying all that, they were nice and attentive but they need to rethink their troubleshooting process to save their customers time and money. read more

I have a personal computer that I've had about 4 years. I like it for what I use it for. I'm not a gamer. Not a ton of videos or photography. Mostly Excel files, Word documents, etc. I just use it for household organization, personal finances, etc. The computer started going crazy. Blanking out on documents. Printers not being recognized. And then coming back again. And other sporadic things like a ghost was in the machine. And super slow. So it sure seemed likely I had viruses. I took my computer to HB. They are super nice. They checked it out. And sure enough viruses were creating most of the problems but my Hard Drive was apparently older technology and on its last legs. So the bottom line is they put in a new hard drive and cleaned up the viruses and now the computer is faster than when I bought it. And their price was 100% fair. No complaints whatsoever. This is where I will go back if I need more help in the future. And I found out they do security cameras and WiFi installs as well so that's good to know. Really liked these folks. I had a really complex issue on a computer I built, it was slowly getting more frequent blue screens. I had tested all the components, updated all the drivers, reinstalled windows several times, even reset the bios, but still had the problem. I was worrying I had a bad motherboard and processor. I took it to HB computers and it turned out I had a bad memory stick (although all the testing I had done said it was ok) and a bad install of windows. They replaced the memory, reinstalled windows, updated some additional drivers, and it's worked perfectly ever since. I am very impressed! read more
