I dropped my laptop then the screen was black although the keyboard still working. My laptop was fixed about 3-5 days, really quick. With the cost is 140$ for replace they keyboard and if after replacing the keyboard, my laptop still not working, they will replace the screen with cost is 260 for both screen and keyboard. I came back to Fixi after my great experience the first time. This time my iPhone 7 screen shattered and I got it replaced. It was easy peazy, took only about an hour and everything was good as new. It was only about $65 or so which is way better than the $150 that apple charges. Only think I would caveat is that the touch screen is now not as sensitive as the original one so I have to press harder on the screen but this is normal given that it's an after market replacement screen. read more

The repair guy said 6 screws were missing, whoever fixed the phone before didn't take the time to put the screw back. Also, screws were missing from other components. This leads me to believe my phone was tampered with. I came in with my macbook air that wasn't turning on and the lady at the front was very helpful. Repairs were reasonably priced. There was a $20 charge to open up my laptop to see what is wrong and if they had to do further repairs, then that $20 is waived. In the end, they replaced the motherboard for $290. When I took my laptop to the Apple store, they said that it would cost over $400 to ship somewhere to get it fixed if they found something wrong with my laptop. I thought that was completely outrageous and was so glad that I found this store. They were quite good with keeping me updated with the repairs. So far, my laptop is working fine and there is also a 60 day warranty I believe. read more

So, I broke my phone today, the LCD was fried and my screens were both cracked. I was leaving for a flight so I was on a time crunch. Theses people saved the day! They had my phone done less than 30 mins and my phone looked perfect again. The staff was very helpful, and nice. I was very grateful for there work! Who's a klutz? I am! I yelped these guys, and made no hesitation to come here. I cracked my iPhone 5 screen cuz that's what a klutz does, and was told over the phone that it's $55 to replace. Awesome sauce!!! When I got there, which was a tad difficult to find from inside the parking lot, the place was clean and modern. The place is facing the street, behind the Tebo Tebo tea place. While you wait, you can get some boba or popcorn chicken! Excellent customer service, and they take Visa/MC however do know that it's $4 more to use a card instead of cash. After calling, they'll automatically send you a text with the location and info on where to find them - even more awesome sauce! I went in there yesterday to ask them if they can help me out. The casing of my bluetooth speaker was coming off and I didn't have the right screwdriver to have off the front face casing and position rubberize cover back into place. The nice lady at Fixi Repairs took the speaker and went back to the store and less than five minutes later, she comes back with my speaker and it was all fixed. Lowering my review to 4 stars just because the quality of the 3rd party iPhone screen is bad. I would not recommend have your iPhone repaired for broken screen here (other repairs might be ok). They use third party glass only and although they provide 60 day warranty, the issues were a lot and you're going to get tired of going back and forth. The price was half of what it cost me to replace with the real glass so the temptation got to me, but the screen is one thing you don't want to cheap out on. Issues we encountered includes lines fading out at the top, blanking out every now and then and touch occasionally not registering. Unfortunately, the person who had her phone repaired lives in Hawaii so there was no way to come back for the warranty. Anyway, I encourage the owners to start allowing a repair option for the original screen as well. It's not something to cheap out on. Now, the service itself is 5 star but the material is a 1 star. Unless it's an old phone I encourage everyone to pay for an original replacement. Other repairs is probably okay though, did a rear camera glass replacement and been more than happy with that. For those who read my previous review and are curious, my laptop was diagnosed (FOR FREE despite saying upfront it could cost $25) and turned out they could not repair it. Multiple other places also told me the same. Overall, service is top notch but if you want a iPhone screen repair, be aware that it might not function as well as your original screen. read more

I first came here to fix my cracked iphone5s screen. They fixed it no problem, but then when I was home I tried listening to music through my ear buds but it wouldnt work. I tested to see if it was my music so I played it out loud on the speaker and it worked. So the headphone jack was broken. Idk how it broke, because before it worked until I brought it to the store. I brought it to them couple days later explaining what happened and they refused to refund me or to fix it for free. They're excuse was that "they never touched the headphone jack area when replacing the cracked screen." Still trying to negotiate they didn't want to give me the free fix. So I ended up paying extra just to fix that. Couple months pass and I happened to drop my phone and crack my screen again. Went there to fix it and they replaced it no problem. Then I notice something is wrong with my phone the next day. My call sound doesn't work, I have to use speaker every time someone calls me. Also, my vibrate doesn't work (it used to work). I wanted to come back to fix it, but honestly it wasn't worth the risk...AGAIN. I ended up just dealing with the errors on my phone. read more

UPDATED ****This is in response to Danny L. of Fixi Repairs' comment***** I expected quality, regardless of whether or not it was Apple brand or "off-market" Any reasonable customer would expect that. I get that by going to a "third party" I shouldn't expect Apple service but I do expect you to be upfront. As i STATED IN MY REVIEW I didn't know anything about iphones. But I expected you to be UPFRONT WITH CUSTOMERS from the get go. Obviously apple charges twice as much because of the simple fact that it is Apple and you "third party" are not Apple. Most customers come in not knowing the difference between this part or that part. It is your job as a service provider to inform your customer! Also, I was not in your store for more than 15 minutes (30 min as you say is a definite exaggeration) and i decided to just keep the screen because i thought i could deal with the quality of it because it had already been replaced I did not want to deal with wasting another hr at your store waiting for it to be replaced and then paying the $10 fee (that i had no idea about). I did not say i was "completely dissatisfied" i said i would have had a good experience had you guys been upfront, period. AGAIN you are being unprofessional and are trying to waste even more of my time by telling me to come in for my old screen and a refund when that is what you should have done IN THE FIRST PLACE WHEN I WAS IN YOUR STORE! Do not let some of the bad reviews on here about this place not being able to fix laptops, prevent you from giving this place a try! It's definitely worth it! My 2016 Mac book air recently died out on me because the screen just went blank while I was using it. I try to reset/reboot it but it wouldn't turn on. I frantically took it to the Apple store and was told that my laptop did not send any signal and that they couldn't figure what was wrong with it until they send it to Apple repair in which they quoted me for $475+!! I was frustrated and a little worried but luckily on my way back from the Apple store, I scouted around the OC area to see if there's any other stores that could fix my MacBook for a more reasonable, affordable price. At first, I was a little skeptical about coming to FIXI repairs because some of the reviews says that the place is not really known for fixing computers/laptops but mostly better at iphones. Since I needed my laptop for school and was in a hurry, I decided to give them a try plus the shop was in my area. Brought my laptop in and greeted by Tracy who was friendly and helpful. Fast foward...they did a test run and found out that the reason why my MacBook's back light went out is because the fuse is worn out and they could help me repair that for $120 with 60 days warranty. Tracy was patient and explained to me what made my laptop died out and what they could try to do to make it work again. The repair took about 2-4 days just like I was told and voila, my MacBook is working again . Even though I totally found this place by chance, I am super grateful they were able to bring my MacBook back to life! I took my iPhone in and they replaced the screen but later found out it was still not working. I came back in the same day and they said it was due to the hardware and said that it was unfixable. At that point you would expect a refund but refused it. So I paid over 150 dollars for them to replace my screen even though it ended up not working and left me with a useless phone.
