Normally, I fix my own computer issues myself, from breaking down to repairing my own laptops and desktops. However, a fairly simple problem had me stumped - something that with the right tools took 10 seconds to fix, and these folks told me so and got the job done in 10 seconds, whereas other computer repair folks (at the big box store) wanted to schedule an appointment, then hold my laptop overnight and 'work through their queue.' I appreciate folks who know what they're doing and aren't trying to gouge you - just get the job done. Plan to come back and get more work done on some of those other laptops and desktops I normally fix for myself, but...well, haven't gotten around to yet for one reason or another. read more

We have been here many times for our computer check ups. Our desk tops and lap tops have all been patients here. Located at Knott and Lincoln in The Gonzalez shopping center, over at the side of the plaza. If your not looking for it, you would never know it was there. Shop is nothing fancy. Just a couple of tech guys and some equipment. A few awesome laptops for sale too. What you need to know is, these guys are honest. They are not going to do anything unnecessary. If it is not performing ideally, they can successfully pinpoint the problem and make it all better. Here is the thing. Our computer's were running slow. They were able to speed things up. We needed to reinstall programs, they were able to do it. We needed memory, they had it. For simple tech issues to building a computer these guys are legit. Other places in the area do not even compare. Service is fast and efficient. Some jobs are quick, some take a bit longer. They keep you in the loop of what to expect. I am a fan. read more

If you need help with your computer, I highly recommend this shop. I had to move my gaming desktop and when I went to set it back up it would not start. I was a bit panicked because I know very little about computer hardware. I called in and explained what was going on, the diagnostic was free of charge. I took my pc over and David was able to figure out that the memory came loose when I was moving it. He showed me it booted up and even showed me what the issue was in case it happened again I could have some idea of where to start. First off, the fact the D&G Computers was opened on the 4th of July was a blessing. I had recently installed a new SSD Card, however, after installation the pc was not reading the monitor. I tried to do everything on my own but I couldn't figure it out. I took my PC to D&G Computers and spoke with David Ramirez. He asked me what the problem was, after I informed him he told me to bring in the PC. After a quick inspection he was able to solve the issue with the monitor and showed me. Afterwards, he told me he was going to ensure the PC was reading the newly installed SSD Card as usually the computer does not automatically read the new storage. David was correct, the new storage was not being read and showed me as well. He offered to solve the issue and fixed it very quickly. Afterwards, I asked him how much and he was very kind and said "nothing". I was greatly appreciative of his act of kindness because I know if I had taken it to a corporate store they would have charged me a hefty price. This computer shop deserves 10 stars all day long. David is a bona fide genius with computers and he saved me TWO TIMES following a power outage at my house. The massive surge when power was restored wiped out my Dell Tower and my iMac. David managed to salvage my partially damaged SSD hard drive from the Dell and install it in a new Dell box that he sold me for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the iMac hard drive was toast, but he was able to get it open, install a new drive, and recover my 11,000 iTune songs to a new hard drive. Super nice guy to boot!
