IPhone 17 Pro Max - Screen and back repair…read more Accidentally dropped a weight on my phone and had to get it repaired. Screen was cracked, back glass was cracked and frame was a but dented. Came across Smart Fix and was bit skeptical but reached out. I was able to get immediate response back and he was very transparent on his work. Due to the recent model of the phone, OEM screen sales were just not worth it due to the price and labor cost. basically paying half of the price of what I paid for the phone and thats not including the back glass. So I settled with a soft OLED aftermarket screen for a fraction of it. Pricing to fix both the front screen and back was half the price of what I would pay for a OEM screen alone not including labor fee. After installing, the aftermarket soft OLED. I haven't ran into any issues yet. Face Recognition works, no lags, no dead particles. The only noticeable change from OEM and aftermarket is the screen Bezel size which isn't a deal breaker for me. I watched him fix my phone and he ran through every step. I heard some reviews from other establishments being sneaky writing reviews on their business without the customers knowing or logging into your personal information and etc some horrifying things that invade your privacy. But with this establishment, he was kind and nice and did a great job! I will update after 3 months to see the progress of the screen.

I sent my stepdad over, and Johnny was not only able to quickly diagnose the issue, but he also provided a temporary fix at no charge while waiting for the replacement part to arrive (expected Tuesday). The customer service was excellent from start to finish. Definitely recommend this place if you need honest, fast, and friendly phone repair.

They fixed the water damage, no problem, and switched out the charging port and let me know that the face recognition in the camera wasn't working (okay, no big deal). The next day, the screen started to glitch and not work, so I brought it in, and that's when he said: "oh the screen also has water damage". Was kinda skeptical as to why he didn't mention that when fixing the Ipad but again, I paid for the screen replacement. Its now a month later and not only is the ENTIRE screen lifting from the titanium base and he says its going to continue to happen because the base is bent (never did he mention that when fixing my Ipad, so now Im thinking he bent it) but he also CRACKED the base where the charging port was replaced (slipped up and admitted to using a cheap part) so even if he does fix the screen. I'll have issues later on about water and dust getting inside the base (check other reviews because this happened to another customer) So now I'm sitting and waiting to talk to this man's boss, who had me call 4 DIFFERENT numbers, he's calling 4 DIFFERENT numbers, including the number you find on Google, trying to get ahold of his boss, and NOTHING. Oh, and he likes to use the excuse that he doesn't know English well and how God is gonna judge me cause he's not a bad person, but he is a SCAM ARTIST.
