Not sure when this changed hands in ownership, but my latest visit was a huge fail. The moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by a bunch of stacked milk crates full of used iPads and MacBooks, looking like it's a refurbishing operation and eBay store. Random electronic parts are all over the place, and the employees barely speak English. Some random Indian guys were testing and negotiating a whole crate of used iPads while I was there. Very nice people, but not useful. Had to get a phone battery replaced, and it almost comical the disorganization of the place. It felt like a scene from the bazaar from Blade Runner. They couldn't open the case, so gave up after 25 minutes, and refunded my money. No problem, but wasted time and no fix. Oh well. read more

I never do negative reviews but this one is warranted. Avoid this business. They use after market material that is of very poor quality. I replaced the back plate of my iPhone and it cracked and crumbled after a month. I complained and they replaced it and it cracked and crumbled again in a few weeks. I did not drop it nor did it bang on anything. It just cracked and crumbled by itself. Also, since the repair, the phone now dies after 50% battery life. It's a new phone. Something is very very wrong about this whole situation and about how they tampered with the phone. I tried to be nice by informing them of the quality of the material that they are using. And of course I asked for a refund bc the backplate keeps disintegrating. Their response was for me to look at the receipt - no guarantee. But disintegration within a month? That is ridiculous. I went back and forth with them ... 50% refund, 60% refund, etc. Finally I said forget it. Keep it. Im done talking to you. It's very stressful and a complete waste of time having to keep going back to them to fix something that should been fixed in the first place. I would give them a (-1) if I could for knowingly selling a product they know to be a defect and taking advantage of people. Do not waste your time with them. And save yourself a lot of unnecessary stress. read more

The first day we went in and bought my son an ancient iPhone SE to use on wifi only mode on a cruise ship. However, the next day the switch stopped working to change the phone from ring to vibrate mode. I went in two days after the original purchase and the owner's wife (I'm assuming) was very accommodating. She recognized us from two days earlier, swapped out the phone with no questions asked and even gave us a free screen protector, as teenagers tend to break stuff. read more

When I walked into PCS HQ, the employee who sat behind the desk barely acknowledged my presence.  I smiled at him and said, "Hi, I have a 4;45 PM appointment."  He then looked at me and said, "No you don't.  You don't have an appointment."   I told him that I did have an appointment.  He repeated that there were no appointments scheduled.  I showed him my phone with the confirmation email.  It was at that time he reluctantly agreed that I did have an appointment.  I felt that I was bothering him but I needed my surface pro fixed.  Otherwise, I would have walked out of this business. It was at this time that I showed him my surface pro.  I informed him that the screen was not responding and the power button might be broken.  He looked at the exterior of my surface pro and went into the computer.  He then said it would cost $200 for the power button to be replaced.  I asked him if he was sure it was the power button.  He performed no diagnostic and didn't do anything to test the laptop.  I told him that it would probably be better to buy a new surface pro instead of paying $200.  He again told me that was the amount.  I decided against having my computer serviced at this business due to your employee's poor attitude, not having confidence in his evaluation and just the overall poor service.  I took it to another repair shop and the initial diagonsis was a software problem and not a hardware issue. The crappy customer service is something that needs to be addressed and this employee needs some serious customer service training. read more

We went there for a cracked iPhone 11 screen. The first time, we got the after market screen, after six months it was glitching. We went back, they charged us 1/2 the cost to place a new one, but 2 months later, same issue. Nice people, but they should not offer the aftermarket iphone screens. They should only install genuine apple iphone screens. I had those done in the past, but clearly the aftermarket ones they sell are poor quality or they don't install correctly. I don't want to go back and pay for it the third time. read more

The shop owner/staff was greeting me with a smile on his face very friendly and attentive. The staff was a Asian guy about 5'6" tall, black eyes, black hair. He replaced the battery within a few minutes. The job was done very fast. He was very kind and friendly. The parking lot was nice and easy to get in and out. The PCS HQ shop is located in the warehouse district by Lambert Blvd. The location was very close from I-57 freeway which is convenient because I was visiting from Cal State University, Fullerton via I-57. Apple store couldn't replace my battery. They wanted me to buy a new phone, but I didn't want a new phone I love my phone. I refused to give up. Went to Verizon who referred me to PCS. I called PCS at 4:10 pm and he said he could change my battery in 15 mins or so. I said "can I come now" and he said yes. I was greeted by 2 friendly gentlemen. The store is clean and well stocked. They offer a myriad of cases, chargers, electronic accessories as well as new phones for purchase. My phone took 13 minutes to install a new battery. He repaired it in front of us and also educated us on some facts were unaware of regarding cell phones as he worked on my repair. The store has on display some of the very first cell phones and also on the walls are phones from the past generations from what appeared to be from every manufacturer. Pretty cool display. After he replaced my battery he thoroughly tested the phone before we left the store. He also showed us how to store photos on Google. Our repair was done by Charlie. He's incredibly nice, professional and detailed. He took great care in disassembling my phone then putting it back together again. I've been a regular at PCS HQ since I lived in Diamond Bar. I now moved to LA but I still drive down all the way to Brea to get my phone fixed because I know they do an amazing job. I'm gonna try to write something unique, much like the flip phones that adorn the wall of Charlie's shop, but, I fear I'll end up echoing what has already been said. I first came by the shop years ago after my iPhone was having difficulty charging. Charlie laughed as he cleaned the lint out of my Lightning port and didn't charge me. I told myself that if I ever needed work done on my phone I'd come here. But, alas, like many of my students, I thought I was invincible. I prided myself on never breaking a smart phone. I gloated in the faces of those who sauntered passed me with spiderwebbed screens. Pfft, plebeians with your cracked screens and careless lives. As Less Than Jake would say "it all came down on that Saturday night". It was a textbook fall. I bent over and my phone, thinking it was jumping as a member of the 101st Airborne, flew out of my pocket like it was the back of a C130. Bam! Splat! Crack! Like Adam West in Batman, there was some pretty epic sound effects. And a cracked screen. Womp. Womp. Womp. A stop into Charlie's shop, for what I figured was to make an appointment, turned into a 30 minute visit which included me watching as he carefully and expertly dissected my phone and replaced my screen.
