My iPhone screen was dead so I had to call PCS HQ. I've already had a great experience with the company, so I didn't even look for others. The guy replaced the screen less than 10 minutes, and it's flawless. These guys are always beyond my expectation. Awesome service!! read more

I want to express my gratitude towards PCS HQ, for really delivering on their product and service. My experience with them was outstanding! Charles and Jacob are so helpful and knowledgeable. My iPhone XS Max was acting erratically. It started not responding to my touch commands until it finally was completely unresponsive! I tried everything but in the end I couldn't even shut it down since I couldn't slide to power off. I panicked because I had not recently done a back up so was I afraid I would lose all of my recent pictures if I just took my phone into the Apple store to trade in. Well due to COVID none of the Apple stores in OC or LA were open anyway. Only in SD so I was planning on driving down. Before I made the trip I sent them a message here via Yelp and Charles replied right away with a reliable quote. I took it in as soon as hey opened and Jacob started to work on it right in front of me. Turned out it needed a new digitizer. They gave me 2 options: after market one (cheaper) or a refurbished OEM. I went with the latter it was a bit more expensive but worth it because it's an original Apple part. Overall I am very pleased with their professionalism, expertise, and level of customer service. Charlie and Jacob are the real deal and know what they are doing. They will troubleshoot in front of you and have all the top notch equipment they need to get the job done right. Also, the digitizer came with a 1 year warranty and I can tell you they stand behind it. They will be my go-to guys from now on because I trust them and the service they provide. Thank you Charlie and Jacob! read more

Super quick, easy, and affordable! I was visiting family and cracked my screen so bad that I couldn't use it. I was able to just walk in and get it done in 20 minutes! read more

He did it! Saved me from having to buy another Apple Watch. Which at this point I don't want to anymore. He replaced my crack series 6 screen and while it has some zoom in glitch plus a tiny screen scratch from underneath that I don't think anyone can see. He got it replaced and glued well. It works and that's all I can ask for, to be able to use it and see all my metrics, get my texts, email notifications and messaging apps notifications. Thank you read more

These people are not paying attention to the complete work here and have left my new phone screen half-assed installed. There is light coming out of the edges of my phone now, because PCS HQ had installed a new screen for over $70 and did not care to ensure the work is complete. I dislike passive aggressive businesses and this last generation of morons just slipped through the cracks and took our damn money. Shit for business. $50 for screen and like $40 for service. $10 for gas back and forth at this point (and I live close by!). And I still have a speaker connection problem...which also is a recent problem after this PCS HQ visit!! NO INTEREST. NO. read more

I was recommended to PCS HQ from a computer repair who I've been a long time customer. I recently had an iPad that had a few main cracks with a branch of tiny cracks on the brim of the screen. I contacted PCS HQ six days in advance requesting if they're available to provide the repair for a future date. The owner was very professional, upfront, punctual, and quick to respond with the estimates given the damage of the iPad. There was no color bleed and the digitizer was still 100% functional. I set up an appointment six days after filling out a short and user-friendly answer form. The location and parking to PCS HQ is easy to find. The shop is clean and the shop technicians were all wearing masks correctly. There are stickers on the floor to pinpoint where to stand and chairs are available for the waiting time. Although there was a customer in front, the technician prioritized my visit since I arrived at my appointed time but was respectful with informing the customer that the assistance would be provided in a short time. I thought that tops the icing in the cake for great customer service. He was focused on the iPad the entire time without being distracted. The repair time and the estimate was on point since I was given the information a week in advance. In the end, I love how everything is organized, upfront, and clean! I will be recommending PCS HQ to my friends and colleagues. Thank you, PCS! read more

My first impression was, "Very easy and quick to get a response on Yelp, a quote, and information needed to get my phone serviced." I dropped my phone and my screen was damaged and needed replacement. The information given once I contacted PCS HQ was super transparent, helpful, and clear so I knew what I would expect from the different screen replacement solutions. They made the pricing very clear from the beginning. When I went in, the service was completed within a few minutes as I waited and the customer service was great and thorough. An invoice with the itemized charges were explained, came with a 1-year warranty for assurance, and the work done on my phone was super clean and precise. The lasting impression? "I would recommend this location to friends or family as a go-to place for any phone repairs in the OC area!" read more

My phone said it was low on memory so I deleted and disabled too many items. It then only worked with wifi. It had no bars, only a small "x" where the bars should have displayed. I explained this to first gentleman. He said phone was broken, it happens. I said no, it happened right after I was messing with the settings. He handed me off to second gentleman telling him I wasn't satisfied with bad news. Second man said he could reset phone, but that would wipe it clean. I went to Metro PCS Harbor and Orangethorpe, Fullerton, and she had it fixed within in ten minutes. I'd accidentally changed wi-fi calling preferences to "Never use cellular network." Gentlemen, trust and competence is important. read more

This place is amazing to get your cracked iPhone screen repaired!!! Go see Charlie!!!! He does an amazing job and will keep you laughing while he does the work right in front of you. He actually explained everything to us, showed us the bad parts on my iPhone 6 and even gave us suggestions on how to protect my iPhone for future use. We had a great time! They are very knowledgeable and they are experts at what they do. They also repair laptops, upgrade hard drives, have an inventory of phone accessories and do a plethora of repairs on everything. Charlie is highly decorated in the cell phone industry (lots of awards on the wall) and is a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't go anywhere else for our repairs. read more

Expensive. I purchased a re-furbished phone for $600 brought it back an hour later for a refund after I realized I could get a brand new one from Apple for almost the same price with warranty and they charged me an $84 "restock fee". Whatever. read more

My family and I were referred to come to this repair store since we were in the area. RED FLAG MOMENT: I called before coming in and spoke w/ Jason. The conversation was kind of rushed and I was made to feel like he needed to hurry and get off the phone because he was busy. I would have just understood him saying, "We can speak further when you come in." That would have been so much better. Shouldn't have went there after that convo, but... Few mins after the phone call... Lo and behold, I turn into the lot; it was literally a ghost town! When we got inside of the establishment there was literally ONLY ONE CUSTOMER. I was baffled at the thought of being rushed off the phone by Jason prior to getting inside the shop; yet there was literally little to NOTHING happening inside their business. *shade intended* While Jason was sooooo "busy" w/ the ONE customer they did have before we arrived; an older guy came out (I guess he's the dad). He took a look at the device we were trying to get fixed and told us the prices. However, upon trying to explain to him that the prices were too much, that we probably would be better off getting another phone for the amount he was trying to charge... THIS GUY literally says, "I don't need to know your story, I'm just telling you the situation with this phone." I kinda gasped and we all looked at each other feeling shocked and appalled. Like, what are you talking about!? Your prices are HIGH... so we definitely don't know what he meant by saying what he said. SLICK MOUTH... just plain RUDE! Like, from a customer service standpoint these guys just LACK in that area. You're made to feel like, either you get the service done at the price their telling you or you can get TF out! We even were thinking of buying a phone from him but when he started giving us even higher prices like $300+ dollars for an old version iPhone we questioned that. Older guy wasn't trying to hear anything we had to say. We felt so disrespected, that we just left. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone and they really need to humble themselves. There's some sayings that I love so much and they are: "Humble yourself or BE HUMBLED." & "TREAT OTHERS HOW YOU WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED!" Thee End! (: read more

Busted the camera lens on my S7. Called and they had the part and 10 minutes after arriving, I was out of there with a repaired camera. Great service plus they have a Wall of fame with tons of old phones including a case of Motorola bricks and flip phones. Ah the memories. If my phone breaks, I'm coming here. Prices are reasonable. read more

Kids...! My son threw my iPhone 11 Pro into our pool's baja shelf and we picked it up after a few seconds. Remembering that the phone was "water resistant", I didn't think that anything was going to happen to it. For 12 hours, nothing happened but when I woke up the next morning, there was a green line on my screen and a few hours after that, the phone won't even boot up. I let it dry for 2 days and the phone was back on but the green line was still there. I found PCS on Yelp, and due to the great reviews and proximity to my house, I decided to go here versus the repair shop at the Brea mall. I assumed this would be a multiple day fix but the gentlemen in the shop told me to wait, and 15 minutes later, he replaced my screen and everything is working like new. I didn't have him replace it with the Apple certified screen, I got a 3rd party with a lower resolution but that's fine with me. Just glad to have a working phone and to find a company that knows their stuff so close to where I live! Highly recommended! read more

So... I thought my life ended when the screen on my iPhone 5S cracked. Until my boyfriend found PCS HQ on Yelp. We were not disappointed at all. Once we sat down, Jason was happy to help us and fix my phone right away. He started by testing if all the functions of the phone still worked. Then he got crackin' on changing my screen. Since my phone took a hard fall, he had to change my phone screen a bit since the LED was damaged and not just the screen. It seriously took 15 minutes at most and the quality is top notch! PCS HQ is definitely the go to place for your phone repairs!! High quality AND affordable! You can't get it anywhere else!!! read more

This is my first yelp review and I created a yelp account to leave a review for PCS HQ. Short version--I couldn't be more pleased with the service and care that the staff of PCS HQ took in repairing my phone. Long version--I shattered the screen on my Samsung S3. The first place I went to offered to fix the phone for me for $50, but payment had to be made in cash--no thank you. The second place never returned my call. The third place I called was PCS HQ. Charlie took my phone call immediately. I explained the issue and Charlie told me that the time needed to replace the screen could take up to an hour and a half, depending on the damage. After I got off of work, I went to PCS HQ. First impressions matter--the shop itself was clean and well lit, with what looked to be a couple hundred "antique" mobile phones of various makes and models neatly hung on the wall. There were several people ahead of me with various mobile phone problems. Charlie and the other technician were very courteous and efficient in addressing their issues. When it was my turn, Charlie explained the repair process, gave me the estimated time to replace the screen and asked me to come back to the store in about an hour. I returned to the store about 45 minutes later. Charlie had just finished replacing the screen for my phone. As an added bonus, a screen protector is given for a yelp check-in. Charlie put it on for me, saving me the frustration of doing it myself. I couldn't be more pleased with how quickly PCS HQ repaired and how well they treat their customers. If (or when) I need another repair, Charlie and PCS HQ will be my first call. read more

The screen on my iphone died last week - Verizon got a new one shipped to me, but I couldn't back up my old phone to restore my new phone. Charlie talked me through what he could do on the phone, got me in right away and within a few minutes, he had a temporary screen hooked up to my old phone and was backing it up to my computer. After the old phone was backed up to my computer, he walked me through restoring my new phone, including installing updates and ensuring all my settings were correct. He even took the time to give me advice on how to better ensure I don't loose data and time should something happen to my phone in the future. Great experience - great service. This was my second trip to PCS HQ and the experience was as seamless, detailed and efficient as the first. Charlie helped us out this time around. He was a joy to talk with. I had been to a previous phone repair & it was sketchy, impersonal, and too far from me. My phone was cracked so bad it the screen touch didn't even work. PCS HQ has saved my iphone twice now! The most recent issue was a cracked screen for my iphone 6s. Communication was quick (via yelp), direct and helpful. They start with a consultation where they diagnose exactly what needs to be replaced. This is at no charge. They present your options with no pressure and allow you to make the best choice for your situation. I really appreciated that about this company. It felt like they genuinely wanted to help me out and not just make a quick buck. They were able to replace my screen in about 15 minutes. All components were disassembled and replaced right in front of me. They ran tests to make sure everything was working before giving my phone back to me. My first experience, I needed to replace my screen and speaker up top. Again, service was quick and flawless. I have heard horror stories about phone stores not replacing all of the screws or things going wrong. PCS HQ is not one of those places. Their work comes with guarantees and professional services and it wont cost you an arm, a leg and your first born child. I highly recommend PCS HQ for any repairs you may seek. read more
