A while ago I had a laser damage the camera so there was a permanent line when I took photos or videos, but he was able to fix it with no issues. Only took him about 30 mins! I requested a service through yelp and Gene replied super fast offering his services. And all the communication between us was very fast and clear. His prices were significantly less expensive than other places I was quoted, but not due to the quality. He's just an honest guy who isn't trying to rip you off. I hate leaving bad reviews and I really don't wanna leave this one since the owner, Gene, was pretty nice but I feel like I should leave a review anyways. My Nintendo Switch was having problems with its screen. There was lines coming across it and it was so hard to see. I reached out to Nintendo and they said it's a 3-4 week turn around. So I reached out to Gene because he had amazing reviews and he instantly responded and seemed to know the problem. I ended up bringing it in the next day and he said it's a cracked LCD, which was correct, so I left it with him over night. I ended up picking it up the next day and everything seem fine until once I got back in my car, i noticed the actual display was slanted. I brought it back inside and asked to get it fixed, which he did, and got it right back. Then I noticed he left "scratches" or scruffs under the glass screen. I asked for him to fix it to which he did. I got it back once again and to my surprise... there was more scratches on the other side! He fixed it yet this time he broke my screen protector :( I ended up calling out of work because I thought this was going to be a quick pick up so I could zoom home and head to work but after sending it back to him a few times, it took over an hour to get back. I got home and put everything back in (the game card and the SD card, he told me to leave those out when I dropped it off), and it wasn't reading the SD card. I moved all my saved data to the SD card just incase something happened. Yet when I put it back in, my switch couldn't read it! I literally had no saved data on my switch. I reached out to him again and he asked me to come back because he forgot to plug it back in. Drove 30 min back over and got it fixed, didn't take long yet I was still bummed out I called out of work and had to drive 30 min both ways for this. Finally got back home and checked everything out, everything was working! yayyy! I plugged my switch in and didn't end up using it for a day or so. Once I did use it, I noticed now my actual touch screen isn't working ;( So once again, I reached out, asked him if he could fix it really quick and he told me he was too busy and to try the next day. I drove back out the next day and got it fixed again. Checked everything... EVERYTHING, and it works perfectly fine now. The screen is still a little slanted but at this point I don't even care. I've driven about 4 hours for this and don't wanna drive over again so I'll just suck it up. So honestly, I really don't recommend bringing your Nintendo products here. Experience wasn't that great. On a Thursday afternoon around 4pm, I dropped my iPad Air on tile flooring and shattered the screen. Went to yelp and started calling places. Most places I called had to order the part and wanted an additional fee to calibrate for the Apple Pencil. A couple months ago my Mac book updated while having zero storage and it kept me in the continuous loop of updating without being able to log on.
