I am clumsy! Within a few months of getting my iPhone, I dropped it HARD from a high distance and cracked the screen even though I had both a case and screen protector on it. Fast forward to a few years later and I again dropped it hard. This time, the entire back glass was cracked and I thought my phone was a goner. I contacted my provider and because of the damage, they said an upgrade would cost me $850+ all the fees/taxes. The agent actually suggested trying to get it fixed, which I was unaware was possible. I called CIR and they said since the camera lenses were intact, it would be $110. Jose worked on it for me. When I went to pick it up, he explained to me how he fixed it. I showed up with a new case and he put it on for me. Jose is professional, thorough, and is a nice young man. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. Thank you for saving me not only hundreds of dollars, but also my data that sometimes doesn't get backed up and under gets lost when upgrading to a new phone. CIR is my go to electronics repair business - highly recommended! read more

1 Star Extremely disappointing experience with CIR in Cerritos. I brought my phone in for a battery-related repair. The phone was fully functional when I dropped it off, and I was told there would be a delay because the replacement battery was coming from the East Coast. The repair was delayed for several days with little to no communication or meaningful updates. After receiving the battery, they disassembled my phone and later informed me that the phone was no longer functioning because there was now an issue with the board. I walked into this business with a working phone and left with what amounts to a paperweight. Even worse, I am now unable to retrieve any of the information or data from the phone. Regardless of what they believe caused the board issue, the fact remains that the phone was operational when I turned it over to them and completely nonfunctional after their repair attempt. The lack of communication, extended delays, and the condition in which my phone was returned are unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CIR Cerritos for phone repairs. read more

Fast and helpful service on a screen replacement. Quick response on quotes. Good pricing too. Also appreciated the offer to put on the screen protector that I had bought elsewhere. Will come back when needed. read more

Quick service for a good price! My son needed his iPhone screen replaced and got a screen protector for super cheap.

Fast, honest, and professional! I reached out and received a message back within minutes. I walked in thinking I needed a new battery, but Jose was incredibly patient and knowledgeable--he took the time to explain that the issue was actually my screen. He fixed it right then and there at no charge and answered every single concern I had. It is so rare to find a business that prioritizes the customer over the sale. I will forever be a customer here. Thank you, Jose! read more

Recently I noticed my Apple Watch is about to reach 80% maximum capacity which means it was time to replace my watch battery. I read a previous review and learned this spot does replace Apple Watch battery, so I decided to stop by this shop on Sunday afternoon. [Parking]: The shop is located within the same building as Gen Korean BBQ House in Cerrito (on the 2nd floor) and this is one of the busiest plazas in Cerrito. However I had no issue finding an available parking spot on Saturday and Monday afternoons. I guess the trick is visiting this spot outside of lunch or dinner hours. [Service]: Free diagnostic check up, cracked screen replacement, carrier unlock, water damage repair, etc. [Process]: The staff first asked what Apple Watch model do I have and said battery replacement for Apple Watch Series 7 (41mm) was $75 and it was cheaper than doing it at the Apple Store ($99). However the staff said they don't have 41mm battery available and it will take 2-3 days to receive & install the battery. I dropped my watch off and the staff said (1) I will receive a text message when it is ready for pick-up and (2) I pay on the day of pick-up. I gave my name and phone number for contact info and I did receive a pick-up ready text message 2 days later. I have confirmed that my Apple Watch is officially back to 100% maximum capacity. [Conclusion]: Minimal conversation with the staff, but the staff got the job done. P.S. - Cheapest iPhone Repair has multiple locations from Laguna Niguel, Irvine, Chino, and Downtown LA. read more

shoutout to gio, i'll never go to another apple store for repairs again super helpful and kind

Fast, quality service. They always answer questions quick and the prices are very reasonable.

So I came here for an Apple-quality screen repair because my 7-month-old iPhone 17 Pro Max had a line--not a crack, but a green line through the screen. Before getting it repaired, my phone never had any problems with water or liquid damage, even while it had the green line across the screen. When I got it fixed, it was okay, but it had a little problem swiping my finger and opening stuff, which I didn't really care much about. Then later on I got the phone wet, not even half a foot deep, and it stopped working in the middle of nowhere in the mountains. My screen turned black, but I could still feel it vibrating, which told me the screen that I had just gotten fixed was the problem. After restarting it, it turned back on but had touchscreen problems. It kept opening stuff and doing random stuff by itself. So when I went back to talk to them, they showed me there was water inside and said they wouldn't fix it because it was water damage, despite me getting an Apple-quality screen replacement for my iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is rated water resistant up to 6 meters for 30 minutes . My phone was only in water for about 3-5 seconds and not even half a foot deep, which I have on video from 2 days before all of this happened. They said they can't put my old screen back in because it's wet and will ONLY charge me another $100 after already charging me $270-something for the same screen that apparently didn't seal my phone properly, allowing water to get inside in the first place. If it's not up to Apple quality, don't say it is. I paid for what was advertised as an Apple-quality screen repair, so I expected the phone to be properly repaired and sealed. A real Apple replacement is around $375, and now I have the same screen I got last time and have no way of knowing if my phone is even properly water resistant anymore. If anything happens again, I'll probably be expected to pay again even though I already paid for what was supposed to be an Apple-quality repair. read more

I came here as a final attempt at trying to salvage my phone, and Tyler at CIP was able to not only fix my phone, but let me know that the first place I went to gave me a used battery! I took in my iPhone 16 pro due to a faulty logic board according to the Apple store, they had quoted me $650 to replace it. I took it to Cheapest iPhone Repair to see if they could fix it, they said it could be the IC charging chip and quoted me $250 IF they were able to fix it. Unfortunately, the phone still did not function after the repairs, and they confirmed it would in fact require a full logic board replacement. I ended up purchasing a new phone but since the phone did not work after the repairs, they did not charge me a cent. I appreciate the fact that they tried to fix the phone, it was not their fault the repair did not work, the phone simply did require a new logic board, but at least they tried the repair and did not charge me for it, thanks a lot, great service, I would highly recommend. read more

Tbh, I was thinking of just buying a new apple watch and didn't even know they provided this service. Thanks for saving me a bunch of money and time. I'll always come here for quality phone repairs and services. THANKS AGAIN. read more

$80 with tax to repair by broken back glass on my iPhone 8+. Yes, my old phone still works. It just needed the back replaced. Any who, the guy was not the friendliest just straight to business but I guess he was just busy. Minimal talking, just what is necessary. Great job with the work though, my phone looks like new. And he repaired the home button cause it was loose, so we all good. No frills or thrills, a little tricky to find since it's in the second floor and the offices feel a little sketch, but that's no fault of the business. Needed a new battery for a Pixel. Staff was professional and timely. Would definitely go back.

Had to drop one star since the aftermarket replacement battery has declined dramatically over the past 10 months. I now regret not getting a genuine Apple battery. Also, the phone never displayed battery health information as stated in my previous review since the phone recognizes when aftermarket batteries are used. For both of these reasons, I would stick with the genuine article. The service was fast and friendly though. read more

Friendly and super fast service. Replaced an iphone pro max screen, went with the cheaper aftermarket one and it was done within 15 minutes. Unfortunately had a battery drain issue w/ a new update and I went back a week later to just get the OEM screen instead. No issues they replaced the screen and only charged me the difference in cost, no additional fees. 10/10 service, I hope I never have to come here again because that means I broke my phone but if something happens this will be my go-to spot. read more
