I Cracked my Screen on my galaxy Note Edge, a while back :( When this happened my phone was considered new , I called around looking for a place who could fix it, but everywhere I called didn't carrying it and didn't know if they could even get the part? I was becoming stressed and getting ready to go to AT&T and have to buy a new phone FULL PRICE since the one i had was my newest upgrade, And I needed the phone for work ASAP! When I called Josh, He also said that he did not have the part, however he would do some research and see if he could get it in as soon as possible as I was very stressed out. He told me to come in so he could verify the phone I had. Which I did,when I arrived His office was full, While he helped others, and fixed their phones he was able to still talk to me. I couldn't help but to notice he fixed it all right in front of you, while talking to his customers, if they had questions he would even explain what he was doing to their phone, I thought ok I'm in the right place, as well as addressing me and my questions. He was able to clear out the people that were there in front of me in 30 min. if I remember correctly that was 3 phones, before me!!! very fast . He said he had done some research before I even arrived and if the phone i had was indeed the note edge he could get the part in, that week and I could come in on the weekend for the repair. All I had to do was leave the phone with him or a deposit and he would order it. Since I couldn't use the phone I left it. but the best part is this, after meeting with him face to face, and having a conversation telling him how important it was that I needed my phone back, He let me put a deposit down and gave me a loaner phone he had on hand, until I came in that weekend for the repair, It wasn't my note edge but still it got me thru the rest of the week. I came in that weekend picked up my phone, the deposit I had made on the loaner was put towards the repair, and i paid the balance which was very reasonable considering, I almost had to pay full price on a new phone. I will forever be grateful for the kindness he showed me, helping me come up with options until my phone was available. I have seen other Yelpers mention this place is messing, His desk is a complete mess for sure, The rest of the office is a "office", chairs and desk. A waiting area / lobby , All the mess is on his work stations, which to be honest Is where the mess should be. There are a couple dog toys on the floor , but obviously that's for the two adorable greeters. Wouldn't think people care how messy or clean a work station is as long as the job was done and the quality good. In my state of stress walking in on a messing desk, was the least of my concerns, I am just so happy I was able to walk out of there with a solution instead of a now what? Thanks so much read more

Thank you Josh for fixing my Samung Galaxy s4. Long Beach iRepair really took care of my phone when I was in a jam. My screen was obliterated! I could hardly see between the cracks and crevices of the glass on my phone. And it was cutting my face when I was making phone calls. I called around a bunch of places locally and out in LA, and Long Beach iRepair had the best prices around. I think I found one place near downtown LA but they sounded it really shady on the phone. I called Josh and he was extremely pleasant on the phone, and told me the process would take about two to three hours for a Samsung because the process is very different from an iphone which supposedly takes about 20 minutes. After all the phone calls to different places, I decided Long Beach iRepair was the place for me. I showed up later that same day, and met with Josh. He game me a big long speech and a deep explanation of the process that was involved and any risks that might have been involved. I appreciate that he took the time to go over all this with me, as it did not seem that any other companys do this. After about two hours I came back and my Samsung Galaxy s4 looked like brand new again. It was an amazing transformation. When I went originally to drop off my phone, I noticed that there were two very adorable dogs there too. They were so friendly, so when I went back I took my Jack Russell Shaney with me. Shaney loved those two. They played for about a half hour, I didnt have the heart to stop Shaney from playing with her two new friends. Both dogs were very playful with Shaney too. Two thumbs up....great communication, great service, great turnaround time. Best part is they are dog friendly and their dogs are friendly! So this is the third time I have broken my phone. I have bad luck so far when it comes to trying places to get my phone fixed. The last two times I went to two different places and both times I had issues with the repair. I was starting to think that getting your phone fixed that has a cracked screen might not be such a good idea. Begrudgingly I broke my iPhone 6 again the couple weeks ago and figured I would give this whole repair thing one more chance, cuz lets face it I don't want to spend $600 on a new phone. Called Josh and he quoted me a price right off the bat over the phone. Got to Long Beach iRepair and was greeted by two adorable pups. Josh called me into the office where his desk was full of screws, iPhones and iPads. The guy's desk looked like that of a mad scientist. He was respectful, kind and very engaging. He took the time to explain me what was involved in the repair. Mind you he did this while two other customers were in the room. He was able to quickly fix my phone and get me outta there and on with my day lickity split. Now mind you I was a little cautious as the last two times I had my phone fixed, I started have lots of problems a few days after. So i decided to wait a couple weeks before writing a review, just in case I started dealing with any problems. Gave Josh a call on a Saturday evening to get my iPhone 7 plus screen repaired. He answered gave me a couple of options for screens on the phone including prices. I was a little weary because I went elsewhere a couple years ago and had a terrible experience. When I got there he had two adorable puppies that I got to play with while he was fixing my phone. He had quoted me a price for both an aftermarket screen and an OEM one. I chose the OEM one for $120 and he was done in 15 minutes. I could not believe it how fast and efficient he was in his repair. After I got the new screen it looked perfect. I had called a few places around town and Josh seemed to know what he was talking about over the phone and he was cheaper than the majority of places that I called. I remember there was one place that was a few bucks cheaper but a friend of mine had gone there and had a terrible experience. I was reading the preview review and funny that my family was the one there Took my moms phone in and Josh the iRepair guy told us to wait to make sure the phone was working properly . The phone was updating and took a long time , but in all this time he kept working in other customers phones also making sure they had their iPads , macs, screen repairs as they expected . So yes he was slammed and multitasking always giving the place as first come not an hour but a good 30 min It's sad people can just review a business base on feelings . It's not Minute fix Very affordable and fair , he tried several things in my moms phone before replacing the part and charging me for it I will definitely return and recommend him to all my friends Please before posting anything bad to any busines try to fix it before in person ! I was really looking forward to having my son's iphone 5 fixed and ready. And yes Josh did fix it and it works so I guess I am happy to give him some kudos for that. But overall it was not a good experience. Hs place is kinda messy so id decided to just leave and get out as fast as I could. I caught a peek of the bathroom o the way out, don't go in there! he could spring for a maid. There were a few people there but I walked right up this him after calling him and he gave me the price he quote on the phone. When my son kcame to pick it up though it had been hours later. and he charged him more than he told me would. I wasn't there so I didn't get to say anything but its really not right to do that to someone after u already fixed it .what are hey suppose to do? tits like your holding the phone hostage or omsehting, there are a lot of other places I'm finding out now that come to you and its better during this sick time anyway. read more

The place to go!! Josh is great, but I sure am keen on his pups!! He is a one man show, so it sometimes takes a little longer than the usual ten-twenty mins, on account of gravity destroying phones...but there are plenty of stores nearby so you can run your errands, grab a bite to eat, or bring ya doggies n hang out like I do! He's always taken care of my phone and my pup, who is a bossy lil bitch, and I wouldn't recommend any other repair shop. 60 day guarantee on this guys work and he uses actual apple parts. Big thumbs up to Josh's rad ass and his dog posse. Plus you can't beat that ac blasting.. and parking! I went thru 3 screens in just over one week... Long beach iphone repair has been my go to place since me and my girlfriend first got our iphones. Its managed by one of the coolest iphone repairmen in the industry and has a price range that reflects just that. ive unfortunatly broken my phone quite alot in the past few months but was fortunate enough to come by this buisness on craigslist the very first time that i did break my phone. The buisness is friendly, the service is very fast compared to alot of the other iphone repair services out there. all in all this buisness is a rare staple in todays society, its clean cut and has all you need in terms of colors for iphones, repairs for front and back and little things here such as glowing apples in the back ect. I brought in a phone with a battery that would discharge from 100 percent to a brick in hours! I left really happy with a phone that is functional and a battery that lasts the whole day. It seems some people have commented on the condition of the store but I genuinely believe that the quality of the work being done here speaks for itself. If you are a customer who is not comfortable in the store (because of the aesthetics) you can always return when your device has been fixed!:) The dogs are simply the best... really friendly, well behaved, and cute. The pups are used to people coming in and out. The owner is really hard working and it is evident that he takes pride in the jobs he is completing. His enthusiasm and readiness to take on challenging problems is palpable. IMHO, one would be hard pressed to find another store owner that is as efficient, effective and reasonably priced. read more

I would not recommend this place at all. Consider going here if you are very desperate but be weary that I tried to warn you. Josh has very shady way of conducting business. I walked in and he asked me to sit down and it took him a while to even get to me. I watched him ask very personal questions to a younger attractive girl and I'm pretty sure he gave her a massive discount. After waiting a long time he finally got to me and his quote over the phone and in real life were totally different. I guess if he could make a pass at me I could have scored a discount. Josh is the man. I went in today for a screen repair on an iPhone 8 plus. He quoted me $85 on the phone and 15 minutes to complete it. This man did not disappoint. It was $85 plus tax as he said on the phone and probably a little shy of 15 minutes. Place was a little hard to find because of the entrance but definitely worth the little extra effort. If you need a quality repair from someone who knows his stuff, Josh is the guy for you. In and out in under 20 minutes, and my phone works great. On Thursday May the 23rd I dropped an iPhone 8 that had a broken camera came back the next day around 5 and it was fixed mind you it was ready earlier that day just had work and couldn't pick it up. Today May 27th I go in for a broken screen different iPhone of course and in 15 minutes or less I'm out of there with a brand new screen. Josh is efficient and won't overcharge you. The tale, we all know. Dropped iPhone, shattered glass. A Google search led me to Josh (via Yelp). The reviews on the quality of his service, friendliness, and quick turn around are accurate. The location is easy to spot and located in the Signal Hills business corridor along Cherry Ave, Josh replaced the cover/screen and battery of my IPhone in about 30 minutes. Fee: $105 for both. Went to Josh after my phone had been dropped in water. All I wanted was to get my data (pictures that weren't yet backed up of my 3 year old and 4 month old!!) off the phone and he was incredibly helpful. Went in after calling him and had all my data in less than 45 minutes. SO much better than some of the other services that require you to send in your phone and wait forever to find out if anything can actually be salvaged. This is a great cell phone repair place. He has repaired both my blackberry and iphone, several times! He even managed to get my iphone working after I dropped it and the screen blacked out and I didn't even have to replace the front screen! I had a similar situation with my blackberry but this had a cracked screen and it wouldn't turn on. He fixed the screen and got it to turn back on! He is amazing. I brought in a phone with an off and on button that was stuck and honestly didn't get any help here. The guy who helped me was nice but he said it was fixed and it worked for a bit but then broke again. He is a con man. I will never be back.
