Unfortunately, the phone still did not function after the repairs, and they confirmed it would in fact require a full logic board replacement. I ended up purchasing a new phone but since the phone did not work after the repairs, they did not charge me a cent. I appreciate the fact that they tried to fix the phone, it was not their fault the repair did not work, the phone simply did require a new logic board, but at least they tried the repair and did not charge me for it, thanks a lot, great service, I would highly recommend.

I thought I left it at home and was about to drive home on my lunch break to get it then realized I could just buy another one. Looked up local cell phone stores in the area and IQ appeared. They're located in the small shopping center across from Cypress College on the west side of Valley View, north of Public Storage. I called before I got there and asked if they had a magnetic charger and the owner said yes for $20. Showed up and the store is small and clean. There was one guy ahead of me and the owner acknowledged me and said he'd be with me in a few moments. I was fine. The magnetic charger I have is a lightning charger that connects to a USB-C cord, while the one the shop had was an apple approved cord that was connected directly to the magnetic charger. I connected it to a Sharge power bank and it worked, but slowly charged. My phone is older so it does heat up and I did ask how much it costs to replace my battery and he said $70, which Is $10 cheaper than the Apple store. Overall, great experience and if I'm in town and have time I'll get my battery replaced.

I found this repair location on google with a different name (ESM cell phone repair). I was charged $41.60 to have my phone inspected to see what the problem was and get it repaired. I was told I would get a call in an hour or two after the technician checked my phone. After waiting over 3 hours, I called to get the status on my phone. When I called, I was told exactly what I had told them how the phone was acting. Clearly they had not looked at my phone at all. I asked what I next step was and the guy seemed puzzled. I was asked if I wanted to come pick up my phone. Since it was obvious that they couldn't repair it I went back to pick up my phone. It appeared that the phone had no been touched. I guess this was an easy way to make money off people without providing any service. I advised to steer clear of this place unless you have money to give them just because. Since it was during a holiday, I didn't want to bother them too much, but I didn't receive any updates for nearly three weeks. When I finally called to check the status, the owner told me they couldn't repair it. While I understand that not every repair is possible, I would have preferred to be informed sooner so I could retrieve my laptop. Later that same day, the owner called back and said they might be able to source a donor laptop to swap parts and asked for an additional two weeks. I agreed to give them more time. However, after the promised 2 weeks, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called again. The owner didn't have an update and asked me to call back the next day. When I did, the owner became upset, claiming he had told me to call back at noon, which he ABSOLUTELY had not. Why does it take a day just to check the status anyways? BTW I called at 11:50 am! Are you F ing kidding me you are upset for 10 minutues (which I was not even aware of) after a month of no response? His reaction was VERY unprofessional. He then calls me for the first time at 12:00 pm to tell me they still couldn't fix the laptop. I picked up my laptop and took it to an old friend who used to do repair work. Even though he's semi-retired and farther away, he diagnosed the issue correctly and had the laptop running again within three days. This may have been an isolated experience, but I highly recommend you avoid this place. I won't be returning!
