I showed up with a new case and he put it on for me. Jose is professional, thorough, and is a nice young man. Everyone I have spoken and worked with at CIR provides knowledgeable and courteous service. Thank you for saving me not only hundreds of dollars, but also my data that sometimes doesn't get backed up and under gets lost when upgrading to a new phone. The phone was fully functional when I dropped it off, and I was told there would be a delay because the replacement battery was coming from the East Coast. The repair was delayed for several days with little to no communication or meaningful updates. After receiving the battery, they disassembled my phone and later informed me that the phone was no longer functioning because there was now an issue with the board. I walked into this business with a working phone and left with what amounts to a paperweight. Even worse, I am now unable to retrieve any of the information or data from the phone. Regardless of what they believe caused the board issue, the fact remains that the phone was operational when I turned it over to them and completely nonfunctional after their repair attempt. The lack of communication, extended delays, and the condition in which my phone was returned are unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend CIR Cerritos for phone repairs.

They're located in the small shopping center across from Cypress College on the west side of Valley View, north of Public Storage. I called before I got there and asked if they had a magnetic charger and the owner said yes for $20. Showed up and the store is small and clean. There was one guy ahead of me and the owner acknowledged me and said he'd be with me in a few moments. I was fine. The magnetic charger I have is a lightning charger that connects to a USB-C cord, while the one the shop had was an apple approved cord that was connected directly to the magnetic charger. I connected it to a Sharge power bank and it worked, but slowly charged. My phone is older so it does heat up and I did ask how much it costs to replace my battery and he said $70, which Is $10 cheaper than the Apple store. Overall, great experience and if I'm in town and have time I'll get my battery replaced.

When I came to pick up my laptop, I was suddenly told it was $478. I called the person I originally spoke to over the phone on speaker and they said it was actually $345. I know I heard $245 but at that point I decided to just go with the $345. Then the person at the store told me it wasn't actually $475 because they weren't going to charge me for labor. Once I got off the phone and continued talking to the store employee, he said that with taxes it came out to $475. So I'm confused... if labor was never included, how did we go from $345 to $475? I told him that we literally just heard the person on the phone say $345 and then he tells me, "We can do $400." Excuse me?? What do you mean you can do $400 when I was just told the price was $345? I asked for a breakdown of the price and the receipt itself said $315. He then said we could "settle" at $375. At that point, I honestly just wanted to leave so unfortunately I paid it. What I don't understand is selling a customer a $200 screen that fails in a month and a half and then hiding behind a 30 day policy instead of standing behind the quality of your work or the parts you sell. And what makes this especially disappointing is that I wasn't some random first time customer. I supported Xpress Cellular Repair for OVER 10 YEARS. Ten years of customer loyalty apparently isn't worth 16 days of flexibility. That's the part that tells me everything I need to know about how this business values its longtime customers.
