Ace Tech quickly determined the issue with my laptop and the best options for me to proceed. They were responsive when I called and always friendly in my interactions with them. I have no complaints about them at all. read more

I have used Ace Tech for years. First at their Long Beach location and now at their Santa Fe Springs location. A much longer drive but well worth it. They have replaced many broken screens, batteries and, most recently the charging port on my wife's s21 phone. I had to wait for the part for the charging port, but when it came in, they did it in 30 minutes while I waited in the coffee shop across the street. read more

I needed the battery on my 2018 macbook pro replaced, but didn't want to leave it for awhile since I needed it for work. I paid them for the part so they could get it ordered. I got a text when it arrived, and I drove over to have them install it which was just a quick half a day process. Super smooth and super friendly. I would highly recommend these guys for any computer/phone or any other tech issues. read more

This is probably one of the worst places to get your phone fixed. I went in at about 11am I was quoted 100 dollars to Fix my screen on my phone. I get a call shortly after leaving my phone and paying saying that my Face ID and front camera won't work after ward if the repair is done and I explain to the Daniel the customer service rep there that okay that's fine. I just need my phone fixed. I later get another call from Daniel saying they had an issue with the screen they ordered it wasn't the correct one and that they could get the right one for an additional 45 dollars to be fixed that day. I go back and forth with him and eventually get transferred over to his manager Alex which isn't a great manager at all. He answers the phone yes? I'm like I was transferred over to you to talk to you and he say about what? Im already over this situation he then begins to tell me that I have to pay more to be able to get my screen fixed because thwy received the incorrect order. I begin to explain to him how is it that I got quoted a price and time frame to be done for 100 dollar and now you're telling me I have to pay extra because you got the wrong part? It made no sense to me and I kept trying to figure out how that logic made sense. He then refused to help me fix my screen after I agreed to pay the additional 45 dollars and wouldn't give me his name at all. He also stated " i domt feel comfortable repairing your phone after this awkward interation im having with you" I began to tell him what a horrible manager he is and that the way he's running this Business is all messed up. I hope the owner can find a better manager and i wouldn't recommend coming to this place unless you want yo get ripped off. Also daniel was very nice and helpful the manger alex was a horrible, no back bone having man child. To top it off i went back to get my phone after they refused service and Alex couldn't even be bothered to come talk to me. The fact that he couldn't help or even be bother was crazy to me. I later got his name from Daniel after they voided my charge. read more

They upgraded my 8 year old MAC. It now runs like a brand new machine. Price was very reasonable. I was in a bit of a time crunch and they were able to do the job in one day. I dropped it off at around 10:00 am and was able to pick it up before 5:00 pm. read more

Ace Tech came recommended to me and I thoroughly recommend them. Their service is fast, and great. My Samsung Galaxy s23 stopped powering on. After holding the power and volume down button for about 20 seconds the phone would come on and go right back off. I took it here to get it repaired. I found this repair location on google with a different name (ESM cell phone repair). I was charged $41.60 to have my phone inspected to see what the problem was and get it repaired. I was told I would get a call in an hour or two after the technician checked my phone. After waiting over 3 hours, I called to get the status on my phone. When I called, I was told exactly what I had told them how the phone was acting. Clearly they had not looked at my phone at all. I asked what I next step was and the guy seemed puzzled. I was asked if I wanted to come pick up my phone. Since it was obvious that they couldn't repair it I went back to pick up my phone. It appeared that the phone had no been touched. I guess this was an easy way to make money off people without providing any service. I advised to steer clear of this place unless you have money to give them just because. One would think they would at least refund the money for the wasted trip. read more

I bought a hard drive to increase the storage capacity of my gaming desktop on Black Friday. I connected the hard drive myself and wanted to clone windows to the hard drive. That caused a software problem that caused my rig to crash whenever I launch a game. I tried to fix it using advice from people on forums such as Tom's hardware. That did not help. So I took my rig to a computer store a week before Christmas. I was told that it should finish within 7 business days. I got a call from them after new year telling me that my rig does not have the specifications to launch the games I own on my steam. I knew that was nonsense because I had 30+ hours played on all my games on that rig. That shop was quick fix computer services. Never going back there again. They even scratched my case. I was really disappointed at the whole situation. My relative told my why don't you take your computer to Ace Tech. I never heard of them but I was desperate. I was actually looking at new computers and was about to give up. My experience with Ace Tech was amazing. Daniel was extremely helpful and honest. They were so considerate to the point that they offered me to take my rig on Saturday evening and bring it back on Monday without an extra charge just so that I would have it. They were able to fix my gaming computer in a timely manner. I highly recommend Ace Tech. Thank you Daniel and Ace Tech Team! read more

Went in to get my sons IPad screen and charging port fixed. Made it very clear on what services needed to be done at the time of drop off, it was also communicated back to me the 2 repairs needed to happen. I was called and told the iPad was ready the night before I went to actually pick it up. Got there a few hours after they opened and I was told that they had to reopen my iPad and it wasn't yet ready??! And I had to wait for a 10-15 min. Just odd energy all around. Got the iPad back, mind u it's my child's iPad. He DOES use my Apple ID for games and things but I do not download pics and notes across devices. As it's my 8 year olds tablet for games etc... well, low and behold, they had switched the option to download pics in the settings and when they finally gave it back to me, all of my pictures were on my sons tablet. I'm disgusted and feel very much violated. WARNINGS!! Also, they only fixed the screen and not the charging port. He was flustered when I asked about why they didn't fix the charging port but had a really unprofessional response to why it wasn't fixed. He said he noticed it still charged if he put the cord a certain way. Mind blown. That's the whole reason why I brought the tablet for repair. Just unbelievable. Anyhow, They do ask u to unlock you devices when u drop them off, don't trust what will happen next at this place. It took me a few months to write this review but I thought it should be out there since they had the nerve to send me a text for more business from me. I did not give them access or permission to do any changes to settings on the tablet, just there for repairs. and I understand I should have signed out of my Apple account before handing it over but this is just a violation. Also weird energy giving the tablet back to me. Place is creepy. The end read more

Unbelievable service. I went in to get a glass protector on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and the gentleman who help me said it should be simple and quick. He came back out and the glass had bubbles in it. I said "why isn't it clear without the bubbles" and he stated this is how it looks. Mind you I have a iPhone 10 S Max and I came to the same location and had them put in on and I have at the glass protector on it for years and nothing has happened. He even tried to blame the case and said the case made the glass bubble up. This is complete bogus and all he had to do was admit fault get a new glass. I would suggested to stay away from here if your getting glass protection on your phone. Here I have some photos to show you what my old phone (iPhone 10 S Max) looks like vs the new one (iPhone 13 Pro Max) read more

Came in with my iPhone having a charger problem, I asked the pricing as well as a time limit to how long it would take to fix the port. I forgot ask for his name, but he was working 05/26/23 suggested to clean it first for $20 to see if that's the problem. I agreed to the suggestion and after a few minutes came back with it working again. He also replaced my very cracked screen protector and still charged the original $20. read more

I've brought a few devices here and I found the pricing to be fair. Their customer service is good, this could vary depending on who's working the front desk. During my last visit there was a miscommunication and I dreaded bringing up my concern but Eric was transparent and informed my the mix up. Unprecedented issues can occur anywhere even your favorite spots but because Eric went out of his way to take care of me I refused the refund and instead asked him to credit me for another repair I need on my phone which he covered at no additional costs. Great way to take care of their customers and earn my business. Thanks Eric! read more

Just got my iPhone battery replaced in an hour super friendly affordable fast professional and quality work.

I had brought in my computer for repairs as communicaton issues were coming up between the computer and my monitor with a grey screen. I brought it in and they worked on it for a week. They told me that my hard drive had been corrupted and that my computer would not boot, even though I knew it did before I turned it in to them. They charged me an $80 diagnostic fee and $250 for a new hard drive. They replaced my hard drive with a new one and did not give it back and I did not ask because I assumed it was "corrupted" and did not want to pay more for data. I get the computer back and there is the exact same problem. I take it back the same day and they essentially tell me there is nothing wrong with the computer. With some diagnostic I did, I found out the problem was the monitor and no issue with the hard drive. When I picked it up the second time, they told me they don't have my hard drive anymore even though a worker said they keep all parts for 3 months. (This was 3 days). All my files and important info are wiped because of the drive they lost, even though it was a misdiagnosis and there was no problem with the hard drive to begin with. Ruben seemed very helpful but ultimately an experience nobody wants to ever experience. For any computer-related problems, I would look elsewhere. read more

DO NOT send your phones to get screen replacements here. Not only did they add a cheap and I assume faulty part, but they also slapped a screen protector on it - which did not protect anything. I picked up my phone from them on 2/17/24, and last night 2/28/24, I grabbed my phone to use it, and noticed a pressure crack and the phone screen started to turn black where the crack was. By morning the phone screen was completely black. So I went into the store to see if they could fix. The employee asked if "any pressure" was put on the phone. I told him not anymore than putting it in my purse pocket. Not only was I told that they could NOT fix it, but they said it was not under any warranty????. Their replacement screen couldn't withstand the pressure of being in a purse pocket????, and now the phone is COMPLETELY damaged. So basically - any amount of every day phone pressure that you normally don't even thing about-- is not allowed with the parts that they order to replace. DO NOT GO HERE. Completely unprofessional. I have had better luck at mall kiosks with screen replacements and for cheaper. read more

Yes it did function. 25% of my monitor functioned. I broke the back of my iPhone and was having such a hard time finding a place to repair it. I had driven to a few chain stores that were very far and they estimated the repair would take days and would be upwards of $500. Bringing it to to Ace was such a great experience. They repaired it super fast and for a fraction of the price!! Their service was amazing and, while I hope I don't ever need to, I'd go to them again in a heartbeat! read more

Local businesses are the pulse of our community and these guys get it. Not only did they take responsibility for an issue which was no fault of their own, they did so with understanding and complete professionalism. They set aside policy and small print because they recognized a legitimate concern. I never raised my voice and didn't argue and was treated with respect. What else matters? To date, I've had an iMac, iPad and phone serviced here. They consistently communicate and educate in an effective and friendly manner. Their pricing is fair market but their service is what EARNS my family and friends business. I rarely write reviews, but as a former technology sales manager, I understand and fully appreciate what these guys do. Great job! ACE!!! read more

Great service, highly recommend. Eric is great and helpful. They regularly fix my phone issues with fantastic customer service!

I brought in a WORKING laptop. The monitor was damaged, but IT WORKED. GRANTED, I was only able to use 25% of the monitor, it worked. I was charged a somewhat large diagnostic fee and, upon declining the repair (as I could not afford it and, it DID work - just very much NOT optimal to use only 25% of the monitor) upon picking up my laptop, was told nothing. I brought it home and it was completely dead. It would not even boot up, as it did PRIOR to me bringing it into their shop. I returned to the shop to voice my concern and they indicated that it was dead when I brought it in. That was simply not the case. The situation became volatile and, as I felt threatened, I left. In retrospect, I wish I would have 1) taken photos and/or 2) insisted on powering the system up PRIOR to leaving their shop the first time. YELP: THIS REVIEW IS REAL. PLEASE CONTACT ME VIA PHONE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AS TO THE VALIDITY OF MY REVIEW OR IF THEY DISPUTE IT AGAIN. Ace Tech-4378 Atlantic blvd Long Beach CA Avoid them like the plague. This is the first negative review I have ever given any company. They have the worst communication of any business I've ever dealt with. I dropped an iPad off on a Monday. They told me 24 hours and they would be able to tell me if it was the charge port. I called Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday. They gave me the run around about how long it would take every time we spoke. Finally Saturday I showed up and demanded they returned my iPad fixed or not. I Had to threaten to call the police before they would finally return it. Not only was it not fixed but the charging port was removed so now I have to replace it. The worst part of all of this was the owners absolute lack of empathy. It's one thing to make a mistake, but is a whole other thing when you can't take ownership of it. I would strongly encourage you to avoid this business. read more
