This is probably one of the worst places to get your phone fixed. I went in at about 11am I was quoted 100 dollars to Fix my screen on my phone. I get a call shortly after leaving my phone and paying saying that my Face ID and front camera won't work after ward if the repair is done and I explain to the Daniel the customer service rep there that okay that's fine. I just need my phone fixed. I later get another call from Daniel saying they had an issue with the screen they ordered it wasn't the correct one and that they could get the right one for an additional 45 dollars to be fixed that day. I go back and forth with him and eventually get transferred over to his manager Alex which isn't a great manager at all. He answers the phone yes? I'm like I was transferred over to you to talk to you and he say about what? Im already over this situation he then begins to tell me that I have to pay more to be able to get my screen fixed because thwy received the incorrect order. I begin to explain to him how is it that I got quoted a price and time frame to be done for 100 dollar and now you're telling me I have to pay extra because you got the wrong part? It made no sense to me and I kept trying to figure out how that logic made sense. He then refused to help me fix my screen after I agreed to pay the additional 45 dollars and wouldn't give me his name at all. He also stated " i domt feel comfortable repairing your phone after this awkward interation im having with you" I began to tell him what a horrible manager he is and that the way he's running this Business is all messed up. I hope the owner can find a better manager and i wouldn't recommend coming to this place unless you want yo get ripped off. Also daniel was very nice and helpful the manger alex was a horrible, no back bone having man child. To top it off i went back to get my phone after they refused service and Alex couldn't even be bothered to come talk to me. The fact that he couldn't help or even be bother was crazy to me. My Samsung Galaxy s23 stopped powering on. After holding the power and volume down button for about 20 seconds the phone would come on and go right back off. I took it here to get it repaired. I found this repair location on google with a different name (ESM cell phone repair). I was charged $41.60 to have my phone inspected to see what the problem was and get it repaired. I was told I would get a call in an hour or two after the technician checked my phone. After waiting over 3 hours, I called to get the status on my phone. When I called, I was told exactly what I had told them how the phone was acting. Clearly they had not looked at my phone at all. I asked what I next step was and the guy seemed puzzled. I was asked if I wanted to come pick up my phone. Since it was obvious that they couldn't repair it I went back to pick up my phone. It appeared that the phone had no been touched. I guess this was an easy way to make money off people without providing any service. I advised to steer clear of this place unless you have money to give them just because. One would think they would at least refund the money for the wasted trip. read more

I bought a hard drive to increase the storage capacity of my gaming desktop on Black Friday. I connected the hard drive myself and wanted to clone windows to the hard drive. That caused a software problem that caused my rig to crash whenever I launch a game. I tried to fix it using advice from people on forums such as Tom's hardware. That did not help. So I took my rig to a computer store a week before Christmas. I was told that it should finish within 7 business days. I got a call from them after new year telling me that my rig does not have the specifications to launch the games I own on my steam. I knew that was nonsense because I had 30+ hours played on all my games on that rig. That shop was quick fix computer services. Never going back there again. They even scratched my case. I was really disappointed at the whole situation. My relative told my why don't you take your computer to Ace Tech. I never heard of them but I was desperate. I was actually looking at new computers and was about to give up. My experience with Ace Tech was amazing. Daniel was extremely helpful and honest. They were so considerate to the point that they offered me to take my rig on Saturday evening and bring it back on Monday without an extra charge just so that I would have it. Went in to get my sons IPad screen and charging port fixed. Made it very clear on what services needed to be done at the time of drop off, it was also communicated back to me the 2 repairs needed to happen. I was called and told the iPad was ready the night before I went to actually pick it up. Got there a few hours after they opened and I was told that they had to reopen my iPad and it wasn't yet ready??! And I had to wait for a 10-15 min. Just odd energy all around. Got the iPad back, mind u it's my child's iPad. He DOES use my Apple ID for games and things but I do not download pics and notes across devices. As it's my 8 year olds tablet for games etc... well, low and behold, they had switched the option to download pics in the settings and when they finally gave it back to me, all of my pictures were on my sons tablet. I'm disgusted and feel very much violated. WARNINGS!! Also, they only fixed the screen and not the charging port. He was flustered when I asked about why they didn't fix the charging port but had a really unprofessional response to why it wasn't fixed. He said he noticed it still charged if he put the cord a certain way. Mind blown. That's the whole reason why I brought the tablet for repair. Just unbelievable. Anyhow, They do ask u to unlock you devices when u drop them off, don't trust what will happen next at this place. It took me a few months to write this review but I thought it should be out there since they had the nerve to send me a text for more business from me. Unbelievable service. I went in to get a glass protector on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and the gentleman who help me said it should be simple and quick. He came back out and the glass had bubbles in it. I said "why isn't it clear without the bubbles" and he stated this is how it looks. Mind you I have a iPhone 10 S Max and I came to the same location and had them put in on and I have at the glass protector on it for years and nothing has happened. He even tried to blame the case and said the case made the glass bubble up. This is complete bogus and all he had to do was admit fault get a new glass. I would suggested to stay away from here if your getting glass protection on your phone. I've brought a few devices here and I found the pricing to be fair. Their customer service is good, this could vary depending on who's working the front desk. During my last visit there was a miscommunication and I dreaded bringing up my concern but Eric was transparent and informed my the mix up. Unprecedented issues can occur anywhere even your favorite spots but because Eric went out of his way to take care of me I refused the refund and instead asked him to credit me for another repair I need on my phone which he covered at no additional costs. I had brought in my computer for repairs as communicaton issues were coming up between the computer and my monitor with a grey screen. I brought it in and they worked on it for a week. They told me that my hard drive had been corrupted and that my computer would not boot, even though I knew it did before I turned it in to them. They charged me an $80 diagnostic fee and $250 for a new hard drive. They replaced my hard drive with a new one and did not give it back and I did not ask because I assumed it was "corrupted" and did not want to pay more for data. I get the computer back and there is the exact same problem. I take it back the same day and they essentially tell me there is nothing wrong with the computer. With some diagnostic I did, I found out the problem was the monitor and no issue with the hard drive. When I picked it up the second time, they told me they don't have my hard drive anymore even though a worker said they keep all parts for 3 months. (This was 3 days). All my files and important info are wiped because of the drive they lost, even though it was a misdiagnosis and there was no problem with the hard drive to begin with. Ruben seemed very helpful but ultimately an experience nobody wants to ever experience. For any computer-related problems, I would look elsewhere. read more

I forgot ask for his name, but he was working 05/26/23 suggested to clean it first for $20 to see if that's the problem. DO NOT send your phones to get screen replacements here. Not only did they add a cheap and I assume faulty part, but they also slapped a screen protector on it - which did not protect anything. I picked up my phone from them on 2/17/24, and last night 2/28/24, I grabbed my phone to use it, and noticed a pressure crack and the phone screen started to turn black where the crack was. By morning the phone screen was completely black. So I went into the store to see if they could fix. The employee asked if "any pressure" was put on the phone. I told him not anymore than putting it in my purse pocket. Not only was I told that they could NOT fix it, but they said it was not under any warranty????. Their replacement screen couldn't withstand the pressure of being in a purse pocket????, and now the phone is COMPLETELY damaged. So basically - any amount of every day phone pressure that you normally don't even thing about-- is not allowed with the parts that they order to replace. DO NOT GO HERE. Completely unprofessional. I brought in a WORKING laptop. The monitor was damaged, but IT WORKED. GRANTED, I was only able to use 25% of the monitor, it worked. I was charged a somewhat large diagnostic fee and, upon declining the repair (as I could not afford it and, it DID work - just very much NOT optimal to use only 25% of the monitor) upon picking up my laptop, was told nothing. I brought it home and it was completely dead. It would not even boot up, as it did PRIOR to me bringing it into their shop. I returned to the shop to voice my concern and they indicated that it was dead when I brought it in. That was simply not the case. The situation became volatile and, as I felt threatened, I left. In retrospect, I wish I would have 1) taken photos and/or 2) insisted on powering the system up PRIOR to leaving their shop the first time. YELP: THIS REVIEW IS REAL. Just great work, another Long Beach computer store said it was impossible to downgrade my mac mini (2014) to OS 10.13.6, which I knew was wrong, but I tried and tried every trick and couldn't get it to work.
