Ace Tech-4378 Atlantic blvd Long Beach CA Avoid them like the plague. This is the first negative review I have ever given any company. They have the worst communication of any business I've ever dealt with. I dropped an iPad off on a Monday. They told me 24 hours and they would be able to tell me if it was the charge port. I called Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday. They gave me the run around about how long it would take every time we spoke. Finally Saturday I showed up and demanded they returned my iPad fixed or not. I Had to threaten to call the police before they would finally return it. Not only was it not fixed but the charging port was removed so now I have to replace it. The worst part of all of this was the owners absolute lack of empathy. It's one thing to make a mistake, but is a whole other thing when you can't take ownership of it. I would strongly encourage you to avoid this business. read more

Customer Service was surpreme, they are very nice, very welcoming, I would strongly recomment Ace Tech, Im very happy with the service I got. They were patience, understanding, and even though I could not describe exactely what I was trying to say. They understood. I am a happy senior citizen, and dont understand computers well. I just use my computer to play games and write letters. Thats all I wanted it for anyway. Very Disappointed. Would not recommend. Drop off my work PC and needed ASAP. Told them specifically change my keyboard and PC was not turning on, due to my attempt to swap myself but decided not to once i saw many components needed to be removed. Over 2 weeks in I received notice they fixed PC turning on but they needed more time because they needed to change keyboard... Made my work life that much harder for almost a month. 2 stars because their customer interaction was polite and professional, but overall bad for me. Definitely not coming back. read more

Haven't cracked my phone screen ever. Had a baby and trying to juggle phone and diaper bag... cracked my phone screen. Started calling around for pricing and Ace Tech was the lowest price I found, and the friendliest! They fixed my phone within an hour. After I got it fixed, I noticed it started randomly restarting. I had no clue if it had to do with the new screen or not, so asked them. They checked out my phone and didn't think the screen was the issue, but replaced my screen again (no charge) just to be sure. So nice of them... I will be coming here for all future phone repair needs for sure. read more

I have been using ACE Tech Repair for 3 years. They do a great job of diagnosing and repairing our computers. After my most recent repair, I received a very strange email thanking me for getting my computer repaired and that "if you say Unicorn Poop 3 times and lick a doorknob, a repairman might visit you in your dreams." I consider this highly unprofessional. When I went into the store to ask if their email had been hacked, I received only that, yes, it was one of their techs then they just shrugged it off. I am considering not using them again since, while I know they do a good job, I do not appreciate their lack of professionalism. read more

They offered to try and use the screen I had bought first and if it didn't work they'd use one of theirs. Fortunately the screen I bought worked and I only had to pay for the labor. i have come into the shop to have other phones looked at and fixed or told the repair was worth more than the phone. This time, screen needed replacing after I dropped phone. Screen did not break, but acted funny. So much for shock proof case. Screen was replaced at a reasonable price, and based on available in stock item. Disappointed water proof seal not could not be reapplied with new screen. My experience is guys are fair and honest about repairs. Ace Tech was amazing when repairing my Surface 3 laptop screen. I had gone all over Long Beach & Lakewood, searching for a shop to fix it, little did I know no one wanted to touch the Surface computers because of how difficult they are to replace.
