Avoid RAS Electronics and their owner at all costs I have taken electronics to RAS Electronics multiple times for repair and every single experience has been a nightmare. They repeatedly order the wrong parts, which constantly sets me back in my business. On top of that, they lose my parts -- including my computer charger cable -- every single time. This is not a one-off mistake. It's a pattern. I run a business and need my computer working. Every delay they cause means I fall behind and miss opportunities. The warranty situation is even worse. I had a screen repaired, then needed a motherboard repair less than a year later. After that, the screen stopped working again. They immediately claimed it wasn't covered under warranty and tried to classify it as an "accident" so they wouldn't have to stand behind their own work. They do everything they can to weasel out of covering repairs. When you try to get answers on the phone, they are completely disrespectful. They talk down to you, berate you, and refuse to clearly explain what is actually covered under their warranty. It gets worse: the owner grabbed the phone out of his employee's hand and started yelling at me, calling me a child because I wouldn't just accept their scam warranty policies without question. And if you think the bad service ends when you leave the shop, think again. The owner goes on every review platform and leaves sarcastic, dismissive replies to every single one-star review. Instead of taking responsibility or fixing the problems, he mocks customers who speak up. It's the same arrogant attitude he shows on the phone, just written out for everyone to see. This is not a professional repair shop. This is a place that loses your property, delays your ability to work, ducks responsibility, and then insults you when you push back -- both in person and online. The owner's behavior alone should be enough to keep anyone away. Do yourself a favor and take your devices somewhere else. Just a little addition to my experience since it feels needed: the fact that this company has so many one star reviews already say A LOT. Add on the fact that the crooked owner almost always has some snarky comment to reply with should say EVERYTHING. There are reviews of people being less than thrilled about the work this little company provides, but when I state that I saw it first hand I'm not being honest? That makes no sense. You DO use used parts. I was there when your employee asked if you had any Samsung Galaxy s9+ in the back for parts. You brought the parts phone to the front too. And yes, I did curse at your little employee. Maybe if you guys did ANY work you were actually proud of and didn't always have people coming back with even more issues then simple facts wouldn't intimidate you. Regarding the Sony disk player, a random cord you guys found that "should work" has a tag on it stating it's for a camera, which would probably explain why it doesn't work, because you guys gave me the wrong cord :/ 0/5 stars .. Came here to get my phones screen and back glass fixed. I was told it would take 30 minutes over email, then in person they said an hour. After waiting more than an hour they still weren't done and said they didn't even have the back glass in stock and would have to order it but that the phone ready the next day. I came back the next day and they told me Amazon cancelled the order. They only checked once I was ALREADY there. They told me it would be delivered in 3 days and the phone would be ready then too. 3days later I called them to make sure it was actually ready this time.it was. I get there to pick it up and there's a black glitch on the upper right corner of the phone. They say it will be fixed in about an hour. I get the phone back with rubber bands around it. The back glass is popping off the back of the phone. I let them know. They say pick it up the NEXT day. I do. They give me the phone back with no rubber bands but the glass is STILL popping off of the phone. They offer to put rubber bands. I told they you ALREADY did that, they say they can glue it again. Like that will change it. If the old glue is already dry adding wet glue is not going to change anything. Then I'm given an excuse that they don't have access to the Samsung specific glue??? And that's why it's popping off. They shouldn't be offering repairs if they can only do it half assed. I don't live close to this place. I only gave them a try because I have heard good things. But each time I was in the shop there were at least 3 people complaining about past repairs this company has done on their phone/PlayStation or PC. On top of ALL of those issues when I first came in I bought a Sony dvd/bluray player. I get it home and it doesn't work. I go to return it and the owner refuses to give me my money back for his faulty product. I won't be spending money here ever again. Nearly $200 for used parts and a shitty repair... Came in for a screen repair and ended up paying them THREE TIMES. They kept putting aftermarket screens on my phone after I requested and paid more for OEM screens, and when I returned after finding I found out they were NOT OEM, they made myself and my partner pay each time I came back for an original screen, and said they couldn't refund me because "I left with the screen on". (bc they were SUPPOSED to be original, we spent over $600 total) Each screen was faulty, as is the one on my phone now, but I genuinely refuse to go back to this place. *Update* Bro is lying under this review. Took my iPhone 14 in to get a free diagnostic done for my back camera after talking to the business owner on yelp- who responded quickly and was very helpful. After they figured out the camera needed to be replaced the technician gave me a price that was $50 higher than what I was originally quoted. They did honor the original quote given to me, which I really appreciate. My only real problem was with how long it took to diagnose and replace the camera. I was told 15-20 minutes for each and it ending up being over an hour. read more

I am rough on phones. With that being said, I have had my iPhone screens (front and back) replaced at least 4 times by RAS. They sold me a heavy duty screen/phone protector and of course I took it off and thats when I dropped my phone. The price is right and they are always friendly and explain what is needed. I've been to this business several times now. Couple of times I went in because my phone wasn't charging correctly and they cleaned out the charge port for nothing. Another time I went in I needed a battery in my Motorola phone, and they did it at a really affordable price and a really quick turnaround time. Another time I went in because my OnePlus 6t had blown out its charge port. They fixed that also in a very short amount of time. These guys can fix a lot of things and they do great service. They are also very friendly. I used to work in the microelectronics world and I know what packaging these phones is like, and these guys know their way around a phone. Before I begin my review, please keep in mind that this man, Cesar, has an excuse for every single bad review. He takes zero accountability for their wrong doing. And on top of that, he will take it as far as insult someone. But I digress. We took my daughters phone for a screen replacement. The SIM card was removed by THEM! According to Cesar his tech put in the notes that no SIM card was there. Completely false. To resolve the issue, Cesar, suggested we pay a deposit of $25 to have him watch the cameras. If we were correct and the SIM card was there, he'd reimburse the $25 plus the cost of the phone repair WHY WOULD I TRUST YOU TO BE HONEST???? A person with integrity would say, let me look at the footage. Not, give me a deposit and I'll check. I saw the other reviews after our experience. And I believe all those other reviews were his company's fault. No doubt in my mind. But let's see his response to this review. Let's see his excuse. It's totally up to you, if you'd like to go do business with this man, but know that if you have an issue of any sort, he will not take any accountability. By the way the actual screen replacement was great but the inconvenience they caused us by not owing up to removing that SIM card is why they are getting this review. I've been meaning to give this place a shoutout for quite sometime now, I'm a few months late, but hey, I'm here now. Anyway, My 13 year old son needed to get his phone screen repaired, a note something ultra, I don't know what kind of phone it is but I know he said it would be pricy to replace. I had told him he needed to come up with the money for the repair himself, (so he can appreciate it more). He did trading and some chores to buy the phone with the broken screen already, so I knew he would figure out a way to come up with the money. I brought him here because I told him I had brought another one of his devices in that had a teeny tiny stripped screw, and they were able to help me get it out, free of charge, I didn't get the young man's name but he was so helpful and he had no idea he made my sons whole day. I had told my son that when I was there, I seen that they sell so many different tech related items and that he could possibly see what he could trade to have them replace his screen. He brought in some things and they were able to make a deal. Honestly even if they didn't want to accept anything for the trade, I was so happy that my son got to get some tech talk in with the same sweet young man, and I believe Cesar. They sat there and talked for, to me, seemed like an hour because I didn't understand half of what they were saying. Needless to say my son swears that RASelectronics will be his first place of employment, he cannot wait until he is old enough to work here. These guys know there electronics!
