The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Worse mistake of my life. I took it in, and he charged me a $50 deposit to look at it. Sure no problem, I paid the deposit. About 2 days later I got an update, and later that day my system was "fixed". I paid the remains , and went home. I was able to play all day no problem, but next morning I wake up and the issue happens again. I contact him and he tells me to bring it back in, so I do so. Later that day he tells me he has no idea what the problem is and he'll update me when he can. 2-3 days go by no update, so I text him and he says once again he doesn't know. I said it's fine can you just refund me and I'll take it somewhere else, he said he would give me a partial refund and give me my system back, IN WORSE CONDITION it was in before. When he first gave it back, it would turn on and play for about 30-45 minutes, now it's back to absolute root 1 of not coming on at all. So i basically paid to waste my time, gas , and money. Definitely wouldn't recommend going somewhere where they don't know how to fix your issues, and ALSO don't accommodate. I feel like a full refund was the LEAST he could do. He claimed he was keeping it for his "time" , but what about mine? What about the 7 days I had to wait for nothing ? What about my gas to drive back and fourth 4 times?
