The battery that was replaced used a battery that failed within a month of use and proper charging habits. This battery they bought and gave started suddenly running out in 20 mins despite regular diagnosing and low battery mode, and I found out it ballooned (the first battery never ballooned it was only old). The battery's technical "actual" capacity decreased drastically, which may mean it's a bad battery. So I ordered another battery from the proper website and it works fine with that technical capacity matching the manufacturer label. I would conclude this with either the repair store had this type of battery with them all along but it was too old, someone switched the front sticker label to have "lenovo" yet the battery is a knockoff replica from Amazon (my only clue is that it's label sticker doesn't wrap around the plastic case like my newest one does), or the provider that battery was delivered from is not trustworthy and this store should buy from somewhere else. read more

C-Tech has INCREDIBLY affordable pricing and wonderful customer service. Came in for an iPhone 7 battery kit so I could replace the battery myself... on my birthday. Uthur asked me "are you sure? We can replace it for you". To which cocky me was like "Nah I'll be fine ". Cut to 3 hours later: Oof did I mess up my phone pretty badly while doing so. I managed to not only strip the head of two 3 point screws, but also break the front screen ribbon cable and pierce a hole into the old lithium ion battery (luckily no one got injured ) while trying to get an aluminum cover plate off the battery connection. It was at this point I realized, I do not have the delicate touch required for phone screws . I came back to Uthur about an hour before closing time at 7PM. He graciously fixed up my phone and had it up and running in 15 mins. These guys know what they're doing and are extremely professional, affordable, and have wonderful service. The owner did a great job. He had the part I needed in stock and gave me a great price. My husband has been there a few times to get his phone fixed and recommended I get my iPad Air II fixed theres well. I'm glad I did. I had both front and rear glass replaced on my S8+ 5 months ago while on business from Oregon. He said $220.00 and that it would take one hour and for the most part, the time and cost were accurate. However after paying and getting on the plane, I noticed my phone was not the same as it was before the glass was replaced. I was not able to accurately text and the screen was not glued on well at all. After a month of having C-Tech do work on my $850.00 year old phone the screen went black and I took it into AT&T to see what the problem was. The tech told me that who ever replaced my screen ruined my LCD and amoled processor and to make things worse did a half ass job of repairing the damage they caused when they removed the screen improperly, actually to quickly tearing the electrical connection between the processor and the mother board, then used copper tape to cover up the damage. I called twice and got the as expected denial of responsibility and they are not making any effort of any kind of making the wrong a right and pay for the damage that was done by them. I live in Oregon so making any effort other than this post at getting them to do the right thing seems a bit like crying wolf to a flock of sheep that are just out of ear shot. I have to give him credit, he was a very nice guy, he even gave me a screen protector for free. Free right! Really crummy work is not the only issue here, damaging my almost new phone, then not taking ownership and not telling me that he ruined my device, let alone allowing me to believe the work they performed was quality, when it was as opposite of quality as it gets is not acceptable if you ask me. I just came home from dealing with them . It was the worst mistake I ever did by going there . I took a functioning ipad to their shop . They told me to leave it there since the person that fixes its wasn't there . I left it and they told me it would be fixed in one day . They called me told me it was ready they would charge me $70 . When I picked it up they changed their story and said that it was the motherboard that was broken that they would give me $80 . They never told me it was the motherboard they said they had fixed it that it was something else . They got mad because I didn't want to take their $80 . They broke the screen it was perfect no cracks or anything . I am writing this so people know not to go their anymore . Saw that this place had good reviews & reasonable prices so I went in to get my shattered iphone 6 plus screen fixed. Everything looked good when I got my phone back so I left satisfied. However, I noticed some problems when I started using my phone. 1. The screen was laggy & not sensitive to touch 2. The screen freezes very often (at least 10 times/day) so I need to restart it each time 3. Touch ID was disabled & I could not reactivate it. I can still use passcode to unlock so it wasn't a big deal but I was a little annoyed by the fact that they didn't say anything when they gave me the phone back... I understand there's always the risk of things going wrong when they open up the phone, but I've fixed the broken screens on 3 of my previous phones & this has never happened. read more
