This is a scam. Had a broken screen, brought it in for repair. The tech did not want us to watch him do the work because it "made him nervous" and would take longer. Turns out the real reason is he doesn't have a clue what he is doing. The screen was replaced, but when we turned the phone on to confirm it was operating properly, we found that the camera / flashlight unit was no longer functional. The tech got noticeably nervous, and insisted that we would need to pay an additional $30.00 to diagnose the issue. He wanted the phone to be left with him (after I observed him sneaking a look at my passcode), and claimed he would look into it tomorrow. The reality is that he either intentionally for more money, or accidently due to a lack of experience, had damaged the unit beyond repair. This is not my opinion, it was confirmed by an actual professional from an Apple certified repair facility that there were signs of improper repair that resulted in the damaged unit. Costed me almost double what I paid for the new screen to fix their technicians error. When I reached out to get even a partial refund, I was offered 20% off any accessories or future repairs that would undoubtedly result in further damage. Let's not forget that the employee said he would not refund me to serve my ego, and that if I left a bad review on yelp then "karma" would pay me back. They have no grasp of customer service, and even less knowledge of how to properly service your device. Even if it costs more, take your device to an actual repair facility. I explained to the owner that there was a crack and I would like to have the screen redone again. So there was another issue once I got the phone back, the buttons on the side that control the volume and the switch that turns off the ringer were not working, they did charge me a diagnostic fee of $20 but they replaced the buttons and resealed the phone, at no extra charge. SCAM ALERT! Do not go here to get your iPhone fix! When I got my iPhone 6s screen fixed here it was already glitchy when I received. They literally took 5 minutes to fix it and I paid $70 for their service. I told the owner and his assistant that the typing was not smooth and it was adding on weird periods after every word I typed. They told me to not worry about it and that it just "takes some time" for the screen to adjust. They knew I was just visiting Riverside and that I lived 3 hours away. I was so naive to believe them. Don't make the same mistake as I did! A week after screen got fixed by these scammers, my phone touch screen became uncontrollable. I barely could even type a sentence without misspellings or a weird period after every other letter. I couldn't even use Safari because it would click on different buttons, etc. My iPhone was close to being unusable. I called their business to complain and the assistant literally said there was something wrong with my iphone and I should have left it at their store for 24 hours in order for them to fix it properly, in the first place. Excuse me?! They were so quick to take my money and now they're saying it takes them 24 hours to fix a broken screen? And now he's also blaming that there's something wrong with my iPhone? My iPhone was working perfectly fine with the broken screen BEFORE they fixed it. The assistant provided no resolution except for me to bring it back to their store and leave it with them for 24 hours. That's literally impossible because I live 3 hours away! I ended up spending another $70 to have someone else fix Xclusive's crappy screen job. The store that re-fixed and replaced the screen told me they noticed many screws and parts were missing!! Got my iPhone X screen fixed from this place last week. The place looks unusual - it's inside a home - but the service was great. To fix my cracked screen I paid a little over $200, which was cheaper than other places I asked when I was looking for quotes. The repair took a couple hours, due to the nature of the OLED screen and the way the chassis is, but the work was perfect. I had an issue with the screen today and I took it back and they replaced it free of charge. I will continue to recommend this place to my friends and anyone else who needs any work done to their phone. Heed my warning: STAY AWAY! I brought in my phone to get it fixed since it wouldn't charge, they performed a diagnostic for $20 that would then be used towards the repair, that's fair I thought. The charging port was replaced and when I received the phone everything seemed perfect except I failed to notice that about third of my screen was slightly lighter then the rest, well, apparently they bent the screen while fixing the charge port. I have an iPhone 6 that landed face down and caused screen to shatter. I decided to come here because of great Yelp reviews. My phone looks fantastic! The technician was helpful, courteous, and has a great sense of humor. I arrived at approximately 10:15 am and phone was finished a little a bit past 12pm. I dropped it off and went to run some errands. I received my free tempered glass on my phone which unfortunately has begun to peel off, or un-stick, at the edges. I was informed I have 15 days to return if I have any issues therefore I will be returning. I also purchased a rubbery case. It's simple, thin, and comfortable but I cannot use my aux cord as the bottom is too thick. I am required to remove the case when using the aux cord. Overall, I had a great experience. The technician was helpful. My phone screen works. I support small business and will be returning if I need any other repairs (fingers crossed that I WILL NOT need them). read more
