The only thing that initially made me hesitate was that it was a home-based business. I decided to keep looking around and even visited another highly rated repair shop in the area. Before I could even ask if they could repair my controller, they immediately recommended QCQ Repair. That told me everything I needed to know. From the moment I spoke with Jose, I could tell he genuinely knew what he was doing. With over 10 years of experience, his knowledge and professionalism stood out immediately. He took the time to listen to my concerns about my controller, understood how much sentimental value it had to me, and even understood how excited I was to play the upcoming Halo Remastered. What impressed me the most was his honesty. From the very beginning, he told me there was a possibility the controller couldn't be repaired because of how Microsoft designed the Elite Series 2. He didn't make promises he couldn't keep or give me false hope. Instead, he was upfront and transparent, and I respected that more than anything. I dropped my controller off on July 3rd, right before the holiday weekend, and he was still willing to take it in. A few days later, he contacted me with great news--he had successfully repaired it. Not only does my controller work perfectly again, but he also replaced the joystick with an upgraded component to help prevent the issue from happening again. The price was more than fair considering the complexity of the repair and the cost of replacing one of these controllers. What really sets QCQ Repair apart is that Jose genuinely cares about the quality of his work and his customers. His business isn't about getting people in and out as quickly as possible--it's about doing the job right. Pam was amazing, this past week I ordered parts to make my first custom gaming rig, little did I know the motherboard was indeed used, Pam inspected the board and boom bent pins and pieces missing from the motherboard itself, with the help of her awesome knowledge in the tech repair world and pc's in general, we got the right motherboard and not even 4 days later she came back to build it after we ordered another, really cool and chill conversations, was comfortable enough to feel like it was just a close friend helping me, 10/10 our definite go to for future repairs and upgrades from the O'Neal family, much love. read more

From the moment I walked in, the employee barely communicated with me and seemed uninterested in helping. Before agreeing to the repair, I specifically asked him to make sure my phone was still functioning properly before replacing the screen. He simply nodded and said yes. About two hours later, I got my phone back, and the very first thing I noticed was that the new screen was popping out of the phone. When I pointed it out, his response was, "Just don't put it in your pocket because the screen can come off." Seriously? That's the quality of work I paid for? When I got home, I also realized my Bluetooth no longer worked and some of the keyboard letters weren't working either. I returned to the store, and instead of taking responsibility, they told me they could fix it--but only if I paid more money. They damaged my phone during the repair and then expected me to pay again to fix the problem they caused. The workmanship, customer service, and communication were all unacceptable. The technicians refused to take responsibility and had made me come back to the store a couple times, wouldn't issue a refund, and acted like none of this was their fault. Save yourself the frustration and take your phone somewhere else. This was a complete waste of money and one of the worst customer service experiences I've had.
