This is my third brazilian steakhouse experience and he chose to make reservations for us on Valentine's Day! Our reservations were for 7:30pm, but we got there early and were seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter was absolutely slammed and really tried his best to check on us periodically throughout the evening.. I say "tried" because it was honestly so busy that night and I can't fault him for that. It's a buffet, so we did not really need him but to request more dinner rolls and new tongs and to order dessert at the end of our meal. The salad bar display was very easy on the eyes - everything was neatly labeled, sitting on ice, and visually presented on platters. My favorite salad bar items were the artichokes, smoked salmon, & prosciutto. Make sure you grab a dish and fill it with chimichurri sauce for your meat later!! The cheese bread here was served warm and very tasty! Just like any other brazilian steakhouse, you flip to green and wait. My favorite meats were: Spicy Picanha, Spicy beef (tri tip?), filet mignon wrapped in bacon, and their chicken was so surprisingly flavorful and tender. My least favorite was the lamb. For dessert, we got the columbian coffee (would not recommend.) It tasted like there was rubbing alcohol in there or some serious home distilled moonshine. I took a sip and immediately did that cough/wheeze like I took a shot of liquor. Super unexpected. We did, however, really enjoyed the papaya cream. This is one of my favorite desserts and I love that it's so easy on the palette and stomach after such a heavy dinner. I really enjoyed our dinner here and would love to come back! read more

Great atmosphere, food was fresh and delicious, any time the meat came out it was hot and savory. Salad bar had several options & it was neat to try different appetizers. Second Time coming to dine here. First Impression was amazing but this second experience was Unforgettable, our very knowledgeable and catering server Ruben made it especially memorable. Great wine knowledge and very good at recommending. Manager Ryan was very sweet and made the experience special. I say this because my friends and I are younger then the typically guest (23) and i've experienced lack of good service due to assumptions, but not at this establishment. One Friday evening after a couple of particularly stressful weeks my husband decided to cut out of work early and take his wife out for a fine dining experience to help alleviate some of the frustrations of every day life. So we got a sitter for our five children and he whisked me off to VB Steakhouse in Arlington. I was so excited to go but honestly a bit tired from a long week. However, the moment we walked into this establishment we were greeted warmly and promptly seated at the best table in the restaurant, right near the crackling fireplace. The ambiance was so warm and relaxing. As our hostess seated us we were quietly surrounded by what seemed like eight ninjas dressed all in black who quickly and silently placed our silverware, dining cards and sparkling glasses of ice water and the most delicious little appetizers and bread on the table and then disappeared as fast as they as they had come. It was almost magical. We were greeted warmly by the manager and he explained to us how everything worked and then the waiter showed us to the appetizer and salad buffet. The buffet was exquisite and lovely, full of so many fresh mouthwatering treats. As a person who doesn't typically eat a large amount of meat on a daily basis I really felt I could have come just for the salad buffet and been perfectly satiated by that alone. Then came the meat! Oh the meat! Every so often one of the meat servers would appear and quietly walk by with their offerings, which only got better and better as the evening went on. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth perfectly tender and juicy. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to live it up a bit and get the full experience, so we also tried some of the specialty menu items like the old-fashioned and the flaming coffee with a slice of cheesecake, and the lemoncello drink after our meal. The old fashioned was was the most beautiful I have ever seen or tasted. The custom piece of ice and garnishments were perfection. The flaming coffee presentation was an absolute work of art that left me gasping and clapping as though I were at the circus! We raved to friends about that flaming coffee for days. The dessert was heavenly, the service was top notch, the food was delicious! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Our special thanks to our waiter who never missed a beat, and the manager Ryan who checked in with us and made sure our experience was impeccable- we thank you so SO much for a much-needed escape from this crazy world if even for just a few hours. What can I say about this place?! I've only been to one other Brazilian steakhouse, and I would have to say I am in love with this place. We walked in and we're promptly greeted and seated. Our server then recommended a Brazilian drink that they make on front of you ( described as a mojito without the mint ). The salad bar was a little light on selection compared to the other steakhouse I've been to however it was still really nice and had a good variety of salad items and side dishes. The meat was a little slow to come out and a few meats came out several times. In the hr we were there for I only saw 5 different types of meats ( not sure how many there really were) however they gave great slices of meat, not little slivers The servers are very attentive and we're always near by yet they were not hovering. We ended our meal with Brazilian coffee and another coffee that was prepared in front of us. It was about 28$per person which is a great deal for the quality of service and for a Brazilian Steak house. Husband and I will definitely return in the near future. read more

This review is limited to their food service at the bar. By myself on a business trip, I didn't feel like doing the whole table service thing so I sat at the bar. I suspected I was in trouble when they told me there was no waiter service with the skewers at the bar. I asked or a menu, then. "No menu," I was told. They did offer a 'platter' of whatever meats I wanted. Ok, I thought, same thing, really. Not so. The meats were dried out, over cooked, and poisonously salted. Probably my fault for going outside of their mainstream. I would give them another try at the regular tables. This warning is limited solely to eating at the bar. Food is comparable to other Brazilian Steak houses, good, but a bit over priced. Overall, not disappointed, just believe it's pricey for the experience and ambiance. Our server was on it and the staff were spectacular and on it in every aspect. 20% Gratuity was already added on my check and they almost got me for an additional $80 tip. Glad I double checked receipt to see how much they charged for drinks and changed my tip amount. So watch out on that aspect and don't get took like I almost did. When I was a waiter I told large tables if gratuity was already included and said "feel free to tip me more if you think I'm worth it". VB must be having some serious management issue. A manager (Gil) messaged me on Yelp. Gil apologized for the previous manager and said the previous manager wasn't there anymore. He invited me back to give them a 2nd chance. Gil asked me to email him and that was more than 2 weeks ago. He seemed so sincere. I appreciated that he invited us back and was going to bring 2 other paying customers. I wasn't expecting anything when I wrote that 1st review. It was nice that Gil offered. Artichoke caps, hearts of palm, capers, every olive ever known to humankind, raw veggies, sliced beets (not pickled, thank goodness), and four different kinds of dressing to add- yeah, I tried a little of each dressing... they're all good. It's just yummy! My favorite meats were the bacon-wrapped chicken and the ribeye. My spouse's favorite were the spicy beef and bottom sirloin. Gosh, they're all just so perfectly cooked and flavored and mmmmmmmmm MMm!! And the cheesy bread, that's not really bread, to soak up the steak juices from your plate. They also have a good lunch price- it was just under $50 for both of us to eat. So get your hiney over and have you some yummy food! And finish it all with a perfectly prepared creme brûlée. First thing came to my mind when I decided to write a review for them is service. Very impressed! Everyone is very attentive, nice. We never have to wait for anything. AMAZING! We were their for lunch.The salad bar offered more then 20 types of salad. 2 different types of soup. Usually during lunch time they do not offer many types of meat. But I was completely satisfied with what they offered here. Really tasty and nice cut. Perfect medium rare to me. My favorite one was the garlic beef. Nice amount of seasoning and garlicky. My gurrlfriend says "this is what I expected from another restaurant but never got. It's so much better than I expected!" The meats are tender and served piping hot. Garlic sirloin is my fave. Excellent dinner experience last night with great friends!!! Atmosphere was wonderful, service great, and food spectacular! I'm not a big meat eater so settled for the very nice salad bar which included a wonderful crab salad as well as chicken dishes. The bacon wrapped chicken was great...so moist, tender and cooked perfectly! Desserts were great...especially the flaming cheesecake (see pictures)! The key lime pie was very good although the filling was not as tart as I expected and not sure if the crust was made from graham crackers! Although the flavor was different, it was still a great pie! Price was acceptable especially with the great service and food. I thought it was less expensive than comparable upscale steakhouses!!! read more

I've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, so this being my first was definitely a great choice! I love the salad bar, they even had sushi, shrimp, and salmon. The meats were soooo juicy and tender. Some were a little more salty than others but it was still delicious. Also the bread with cheese is delicious and my favorite side dish was the fries polenta. Other side dishes were good too; mashed potatoes and plantains. Also had some black beans and rice! Amazing! No room for dessert so I don't know if it's any good! read more

We came to the restaurant for our family dinner. I made the reservation and we were a few minutes late. We didn't mind waiting for the table to be ready. It was the hostess that started with the bad experience. When we arrived she let us know the table wasn't ready and we could see they were full. So we waited at the bar. However, the bartender was at the receptionist desk with her phone out talking to the hostess. So I walked over there and was like hey where is the bartender? The bartender says oh I will be right there. Meanwhile there was another person that worked there standing and watching us at the bar and did not once say let me get someone for you. We finally get to order our drinks. Then we get tour table and it was smooth sailing after that. The food was delicious and the each meat that sent to the table was well seasoned and fresh.
