    Samurai Rib

I got the spicy miso ramen and the samurai ribs. Both had amazing flavors, but if your spice tolerance is lower I'd recommend another broth option instead. The ribs were tender and came off the bone super easily. The restaurant has varied seating styles such as booths, tables, & the option to dine while sitting on the floor Japanese style. There was anime playing and overall a nice vibe for a meal alone or with others. The food was brought out fairly quickly after placing our order. It did get a bit busy so our server was preoccupied that it took a while to get our check.

They have excellent happy hour every day, so this is a quick, good place to get happy hour, even on Saturday before a comedy show or a movie at the Arlington Highlands. Portions are decent size even on the happy hour menu.

This place was absolutely delicious! Good ramen can be hard to find, but this spot exceeded my expectations. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and came out quickly. The service was excellent as well. We were originally quoted a 30-minute wait, but we were seated in about 10 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and I loved that they had anime playing in the bar area--it really added to the atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this place whether you're dining solo, on a date, or with a group. It's such a great find, and I'll definitely be coming back!

Love, love, loveeee the daily Happy Hour Specials at Piranha Killer Ramen!! I was in DFW the other week visiting my partner's family, and he had long been telling me about how he loves the Happy Hour here, so we had it on our list of places to visit while in town! Service was very friendly and efficient, with them quickly seating us, taking any orders or requests we had for items, and returning regularly for things such as water refills! I was tempted to order everything on the Happy Hour menu, and we just about nearly did! Everything here is great quality, nicely sized portions, and very fresh! Some of the Happy Hour items we got: $8 Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna $8 Crudo $4.50 Salmon Rolls $5 Karaage $4 Avocado Rolls For Cocktails: $7 Lychee Martini $7 Blackberry Smash I highly recommend each and every one of the food & drink items we ordered - so deliciously fresh! My favorites were the Crispy Rice, Karaage, and the Blackberry Smash for a cocktail! It's very open and bright inside, giving a welcoming and inviting feeling. There's also an outdoor patio space, although we went on a hot afternoon day and stayed inside. Happy Hour here is from 3-7pm EVERY day, and I had a great time with quality food, great portions, and excellent value! I highly recommend to anyone in the area!

the waitress was so sweet! you can tell that she enjoyed her job and wasn't just there for the money. the restaurant is nicely decorated with beautiful paintings on the sides of the walls. i went with a group of 5 at 1pm for their 11-3 $9 ramen meal. definitely worth the price. i got the spicy miso with extra chashu for $12.99 since the chashu was an extra $3. worth the extra couple dollars as it was a big piece of meat that was extremely tender. it definitely had a kick but i enjoyed it very much. the egg was poached instead of hard boiled. the bowl may seem small, but it fits a lot of food and had me feeling very full. the picture below is of the chicken ramen, but the chicken was a little bit dry.

This place unassuming place is a great spot for everything from a quick lunch to dinner and drinks. Great vibe inside with a Japanese theme. Friendly service as well. The ramen is star of the show. Perfect broth, fresh noodles, really good stuff!

Still such an amazing place and a solid addition to ramen offerings in the Arlington-Grand Prairie-Mansfield area. This time I had the chicken ramen and the thigh perfectly complements the flavor of the marinated eggs. Service was impeccable and the restaurant is so comfortable and cozy. I'm excited for the cold weather to be able to enjoy ramen to the full extent.

Came with a friend to enjoy sushi and ramen. Upon arrival, it was quite busy so we sat at the bar. We received great customer service for our waitress! For happy hour we ordered - karaage, gyoza, spicy tuna roll, and shrimp tempura roll - killer geisha (mango) for drink and spice mule. The karaage was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the gyoza as well. The sushi was ok - the rolls were falling apart and it made for messy eating. For ramen, we ordered the chicken ramen and added additional toppings on both with a side of spice. I really enjoyed my ramen as the noodles were cooked how I enjoy - firm - and the broth was flavorful. The spice added just the right amount of kick to it! Overall, we enjoyed the food and I look forward to returning!

Piranha's has delicious sushi and great lunch hour for some of my favorite rolls. The service was great so we really enjoyed our dinner. It was steadily busy while we were here. The dumpling appetizers were great as well. I look forward to having another meal at this Piranha's.

Ambiance gives a moody, intimate vibe when you walk in. There's some beautiful murals painted around the walls to admire & Asian style seating tables towards the front that are cool. I like that this place will sit multiple parties at one table as well, encouraging you to socialize with people you normally might not. There were three of us who came during their happy hour (served 3-7pm during the week). We ordered quite a few appetizers as you'll see pictured below. I highly recommend their bang bang shrimp & the gyozas. The shrimp were bigger than expected for an appetizer, perfectly breaded & had nice flavor without being overwhelmingly spicy. The gyozas also were great, balancing the umami flavors with the saltiness of the sauce it comes with. My least favorite appetizer was the calamari. When it came out at first I thought they were onion rings. Entirely too much breading in my opinion. For entrees we all got different variations of ramen, from chicken to tonkatsu to shoyu. Though the ramen wasn't on happy hour their portion size was, which is appreciated because the appetizers are very filling so it helps to decrease waste. I've been all around DFW trying different Tonkatsu ramen, so knowing that I think theirs is just ok. If you're looking to pig out for pennies then this is the place to be. Expect a 20 min wait for happy hour if you're not on the wait list, but service is fast & smooth once seated.

Absolutely delicious spot to come get ramen and great happy hour specials , they have 1/2 off appetizers after 3pm and from 11am-3pm you can get $9 ramen! Yessss sooo good! It takes a minute to get served you are here to talk and eat lol , they also have sake , and alcoholic beverages. I loved that the food comes out hot and delicious I'm addicted to the bang bang shrimp! It's yummy! The gyoza yum! I absolutely love it.. all the things are amazing ! I've had the sushi my fav is the spicy tuna roll! And now the Philly roll , yummy! They have sitting areas if you want more traditional style of sitting on pillows and enjoying some Japanese cuisine!

This place didn't pass that test and it may be the only time in history where it proved me so wrong. When we were served the karage chicken with what appeared to be plain mayo I was seriously doubting my choice. It all changed when the ramen came out. This place is legit. They took the time to master their craft and they pay respect to what a proper bowl of ramen is. We both went for the spicy black garlic tonkatsu with differing spice levels; mild and reaper (+$1). Let's start with that -- typically all you pay for is a glob of chill oil that may or may not be spicy. This was not the case here, it added serious heat without altering the flavor. The black garlic was not burnt. The ramen had depth and umami, but could have been a but more seasoned. Eggs were cooked well and still jammy. If im ever in the area i'd be back.

I had the straight noodles instead of the curly/thicker noodles and honestly if I even come back to this restaurant I'll have to try the curly since I don't think Kintaro does their straight noodles well. Too soft and too "spaghetti" like. Hands down, the only place that does the straight noodles right is Jinya Ramen. But even so, I wasn't too fond of the broth or texture of the chashu here. Overall, the atmosphere is great. You have the option to self-order and the portions are large. Staff was friendly and nonetheless my friend and I had a great time. But unless I'm coming back here with someone who wants to eat here, I don't see myself actively choosing to be back at this spot over other ramen places anytime soon.

That was 3 years ago though, and as of recent I came back to this place after a friend suggested we could give it another shot. I must say, while expectations are low, I was far more impressed than I thought. This place is a bit bigger than neighboring ramen spots, and our server was so interactive, funny and friendly. I like that she actually holds a conversation between me and my friend, in terms of sake recommendations, and being honest on what type of noodles she prefers (I asked her if their straight noodles are good or if I should go for the curly, and she gave me her honest opinion on both, so I went for curly.) She was able to also assist my friend in choosing a better appetizer. I love the bigger variety of drink options, from alcohol to boba milk teas. The curly noodles in the Tonkotsu Ramen was awesome, and the meat's so soft and delicious. My only qualm is that the broth to noodles ratio is a little off; too much broth and it's more watery than other broths I've tasted. Nonetheless, my experience back here went well, and I can definitely see myself coming back here with friends.
