Delicious! The calamari was so good! I could tell that it was fresh calamari and they breaded and fried it themselves, it was very fresh and tasty. The sushi I received was also very fresh, not fishy at all which is exactly what I want when getting sushi anywhere. I also had the spicy tuna roll and the level of spice and flavor was excellent, not overwhelmingly spicy but just enough to make you eat it more slowly. After eat two pieces of the roll I noticed the shrimp was fried on the outside but still completely clear and uncooked on the inside. After bringing it up to them and them clearly seeing the shrimp is uncooked they did not accommodate just told me I was wrong and still made me pay for the roll even though I could not eat it. Update: I literally just threw up my meal further confirming the food was not properly cooked. Being pregnant I get nausea but never actually vomit. We also ordered egg rolls as an appetizer. We liked the egg rolls, but were a little surprised to find that theirs are covered in sauces, a Mayo sauce & I'm not sure what the dark brown sauce was. I think I would have preferred the sauces on the side and will ask next time. The sauces were good, just don't prefer them completely covered in sauces. Now my bento!! The pictures does NOT show just how much food comes with it. I found the spicy chicken dish delicious with heat that sneaks up on you, and it isn't sweet like most teriyaki dishes and I liked that! The menu is quite extensive, ranging from your typical rolls, specialty rolls, bento boxes. I ordered 2 rolls, the cafe special roll and the hot mama roll. They were pretty solid. The prices were decent for a sushi place but I hear coming for happy hour on a weekday or come during lunch time for the specials, is where it's at! The sushi is buy one get one during happy hour and I got a variety of their special rolls. Every one was fresh and flavorful. The rice was still warm and everything came out beautifully plated.
