This was fantastic! I felt like I was in Tokyo at a gourmet, exclusive, authentic sushi restaurant. The presentation was off the charts and the flavors were some we'd never experienced before. The prices were higher than our typical spots but the value and experience were commensurate.

Came here for the omakase but it's only available on weekends... got the nigiri set instead and it was very underwhelming :( I'll definitely have to come back for the omakase again to give them another shot!

Always such a wonderful experience here. For being local and off the cuff, it has created a hub for sushi lovers and is top notch. Very fresh, very flavorful, and such a delightful experience overall. Love coming here and will again and again.

We ordered the omakase, the salmon napple, and hamachi with yuzu. The staff was attentive and the food came out quickly. The salmon was nice, but we were a bit disappointed in the quality of the rest of the fish. The omakase felt heavy handed with toppers to try to hide the fish. It wasn't "bad" it just wasn't great or memorable. At that price point, there are definitely better venues to explore.

Best sushi in the Mid-Cities! I've been here enough times to try a little bit of everything, and I've never been disappointed. Every bite has me saying, "Yum, yum, yum!" The staff is amazing, too. They make you feel welcome and will often remember you after just one visit. It's a cute little restaurant with a chill, relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a great meal. Highly recommended! The patio is cute but it's too hot right now

Feels like I'm a regular now! I would even come here by myself bc it's so good This place offers delicious sushi and foods! One of the workers, Nancy was able to make me a yuzu drink and it's all good!!! My go to order would be the wagyu lover maki roll (this one melts in your mouth) AND the beef teriyaki bowl. However, your flavor of dish would be good. I sometimes will order the chu otoro nigiri. YUM!!! It depends what time you go. Prime time is always busy. One time it was perfect when I showed up at 7-8pm on Friday and one seat was opened at the bar. It can get pretty noisy and loud.

This place was Amazing! We were seated promptly and a waiter greeted us immediately. They work as a team, so we were tended to by several servers during our dinner. Our server knew the menu well and guided us to order the Salmon and Apple to start with. He said if we love salmon sashimi, we will really like this. He was right!! I had a Cosmopolitan and my husband had hot sake. We also tried the Miso soup and house salad. The house salad had thier house dressing which is not a typical ginger dressing but I loved it all the same. We shared The Baked Snow Crab Maki and the Lobster Maki. Both were delicious! It's in a quiet location on a Saturday night. Inside it was easy to have conversations and very clean. The prices were quite reasonable too. Will definitely go back!!

My go to sushi spot! I've been a total of 3 times so far and every time, everything has been more than amazing. The nigiri is so fresh and I love it because they can do anything "seared". The fatty salmon MELTS in your mouth. And they don't use ANY imitation crab, so all of their dishes that has crab has real crab. The wagyu maki lover is amazing-- it is perfect for someone who is just getting into sushi. The crunch and the flavor mixes so well together.

My favorite was the special nigiri hamachi yuzu - very flavorful, perfectly balanced, good mouthful. I would come back just to get this special hamachi yuzu (but for $8/piece, it would be a special occasion). The other sushi lacked punchy flavor, and the lean tuna, medium fatty tuna, fatty salmon, and regular salmon all tasted nearly identical to me. The wagyu lover rolls were extra chewy because of the asparagus and not worth paying wagyu prices in my opinion, but still tasty. The texture was spot on perfect, though. On the higher end for sushi prices, but very consistently amazing textures, even though most of the fish was bland.

First time trying Bleu Bear Sushi and it was actually pretty good! The nigori was alright, but I really liked their rolls especially the Wagyu Lover Roll, definitely my fave and it's even part of their happy hour . It's a small spot but super cute for Bedford. I'd come back to try more rolls for sure

Dragon roll, spider roll, salmon maki and the perfect fire ocean roll

I started with the salmon skin maki - extra crunchy, flavorful, and light, but I'd recommend upgrading to the Salmon Lover Maki bc it has more balance, and is less about the crunch, more about the salmon itself and its filling. The volcano maki came loaded with toppings, sauce, and bold flavor - definitely more filling and satisfying than the salmon skin roll. If you enjoy something rich and layered, this one hits the spot, though my all-time favorites are still the Fire Ocean and the Salmon Lover rolls. I also tried yellowtail nigiri and red snapper sashimi. Both were very fresh - yellowtail nigiri had a buttery smooth texture, but the single pieces are more of a light add-on. If you're looking for a full, filling meal, go for the multi-piece rolls with more variety and toppings.

Every single thing we ordered was beyond delicious! This is what we ordered: Tako Wasabi Japan uni sushi Chu Toro Fried Microgreen Hotate Japanese Uni Ikura Seared Sake Toro Yuzu Nigiri Salmon & Apple Green Tea Tiramisu Our server was Ms. Apple. She was so kind and sweet! I usually don't leave reviews but this place deserves the recognition for its high quality fish and presentation, and customer service. Perfect place for date night, but can also be kid-friendly.

Wow, amazing. Simply amazing. Highly recommend. Wait staff great. I just thought I would get that out of the way. I had high expectations before I got here based on the reviews. They exceeded my expectations. I ordered omakase for lunch. Yep, lunch. The omakase was fantastic. The A5 Wagyu with foie gras was probably the best bite I have ever had. I also had the foie gras flight. Dang, special. Ok, I'm going to keep it short. Check this place out, traditional meets fushion, highly recommend.

The owner came over and talked with us and is so nice. Service was fantastic. Checking in regularly to see if we were ready for another order but not constant or overbearing. We also liked that the rolls come in smaller orders so we could sample the wide variety of rolls. We tried a lot of their cold appetizers and they were all great. Save room for dessert. Crème brûlée, fried mantou, and ice cream were delish. Overall, really great experience. We'll be back!

However, we did have to ask for drink refills a couple of times. Ambiance: 4/5 The inside of the restaurant kind of reminds me of Japan House, but much nicer. However, the restroom was dirty, which was disappointing. Food: 2/5 I appreciate that they served the sashimi on top of a bed of ice because not many places do that anymore. I just wish they had placed it on top of a shiso leaf so the sashimi wouldn't get wet. The fish did not taste as fresh as I had hoped. Unfortunately, none of the appetizers left an impression. Overall, everything I ate was very underwhelming. I don't think I will be coming back.

We love sushi and ramen/asian type food. Well, this place was a HUGE disappointment. My husband ordered the beef ramen. The broth tasted off and the beef had no flavor and was WAY overcooked and rubbery. He had one bite/sip of all of it and was done. My son had the sushi. You can see how much he ate of it. The inside of one of the rolls was hard (shrimp) and the meat on the other one was not cooked right and tasted horrible. The worst part is that the employees could care less. One of them came over and asked if we wanted our ramen to go when clearly it hadn't been eaten. I said, "no thank you. My husband didn't like it." He just turned around and walked off. Then when the bill came a different server came over and asked if we wanted to go boxes. We said no, we didn't like any of the food. He looked puzzled, said nothing, and walked away waiting for us to pay. We did not want our meal for free but would've appreciated someone asking if we even liked the food since clearly we didn't eat it. But no, we payed our $100 and left. And we will never be back.

I sat down and the waitress came and asked me if I knew what I wanted, before I had put down my purse and opened the menu. I should have just left. I ordered the sushi lunch, it came with five pieces of chef selected nigiri and a California roll. The roll could have been tighter. The first piece I picked up, the filling fell out. Though I did appreciate that they use the pieces of krab instead of a krab salad mix. It was fine but nothing to write home about. The nigiri was a bummer. The texture was kind of chewy, like it had been frozen too long. Not that it was bad, it smelled and tasted fine, but I would rate this on par with grocery store quality. The salad was cold and crunchy but pretty flavorless and was half full of liquid on the bottom. The waitress asked me if I wanted anything else while I was still eating and brought the check. I was still out of there a half hour before closing time, but apparently not fast enough. The price point was surprisingly low, especially for this area, but I found no value in it.
