My sister and I went for our very first hot pot and it was delicious!! I cannot recommend this highly enough. The broths are so good, I could just drink them as is, but when you start adding in the meats dipped in sauces and the veggies, it just adds to the richness. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was so incredibly nice, put up with our never ending questions, always smiling. I don't remember her name, but if Sushi Soho sees this, she was on duty at noon on 10/27/25. She was delightful. The only draw back was that we had to get a different fork and go through a few plates at the hot pot buffet because they had some stuff on them. That's the only reason I gave four stars instead of five. For an additional amount, you can take your soup home, I think they charged me $5. This was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back, and I plan on taking my boyfriend as well.

On a Saturday at 12:15pm... The sushi and salmon roll was very good. However the was no Saki. How is that possible? ...and the AYCE price was the dinner price...$35. sorry but not for lunch.

Hello reader, I've been coming to sushi soho since I moved to Texas in 2023 and this was always my go to spot and it used to to be amazing but unfortunately in my opinion ever since they introduced the hotpot section of the restaurant, the quality and portion sizes of the sushi went down extremely. I understand from a cost standpoint the owners most likely decided to split the budget in half, maybe something like 60%-40% to save money overall or simply remain in budget and to make sure each side (sushi or hotpot) was well balanced. Ive come back to the restaurant 4 separate times since the introduction of the hot point and I noticed each time I came back the quality of the sushi went down and the service. My recent experience was not great at all I had the same server before that is very dismissive and rather talk to her colleagues in Hindi instead of properly tending to her customers. I'm not a needy customer but twice I'd had to flag her down and remind her that I've ordered other items that never came and to top it all off this 01-26-26, I received SPOILED/ ROTTEN CONDENSED MILK on the milky buns. When the sever placed it on my table I instantly knew that It was spoiled because It had a green hue to it. (The pictures don't really pickup on that well.) Even with me seeing that it was that color I still tried the milk on my chopstick and oh my god was it sour . Overall I'm very disappointed that my once favorite sushi spot had declined in quality and service and even served me spoiled items. I will not be returning unfortunately. If you you've never been here before and know what good quality sushi taste like I believe you will be dissatisfied coming here.

Sushi Soho has been my go to restaurant for sushi and other fine food from their lunch and dinner menus for the past seven years.

Didn't get a good pic of the food but here it is set up at my cute picnic date
    Tanera J.

I got this place to go for a picnic date I was setting up. I ordered some basic sushi rolls and crab Rangoons. The food wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. I would say it was decent. It could be because it took me almost another hour before I ate it after picking it up, so that's something to take into account. When I went in to pick up the food, the lady that assisted me was very friendly so that helps. I am very open to going back to dine in and see if I have a better food experience.

I visited got the first time in about a year or so last week, and had a very nice experience. I had the AYCE lunch. I am a little disappointed that the price has gone up while the lunch offerings have been reduced, but I understand. The god that was offered was delicious, and the wait times were incredibly quick. My server was on the ball as well. Overall I'm very glad Sushi Soho is still up and running, as even with the higher prices they after a fantastic value for sushi.

It's been a minute since I had AYCE sushi. I'm always skeptical on the food quality when it's not a la carte. My expectations were not too high, but I had to dip my toes in the water as it was highly recommended by our elite yelper, Hannah. Perhaps I should have acted on her words sooner because this place was phenomenal! Thank you for the recommendation. Let's talk about the experience. It's $33.99 per person. Whatever is listed on their menu is fair game. You have to finish all the ordered food or else there will be an extra charge. They have a huge selection of appetizers, regular rolls, hand rolls, special rolls, sashimi, etc. Right off the bat, we ordered 9 items for round 1. Yes, you can say we were overly excited. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Presentation was also on point for a place that has to push out volume. The food was out in no time. They did warn us that the takoyaki and yakitori may take a little longer to make; in all honesty, it wasn't a long wait that we hardly noticed. I think we ended up eating too many rolls that filled us up quickly. The next time, I'm diving into more of the yummy sashimi. Our server, Shawn, was very attentive. He noticed we were ready for round 2, and efficiently took our order. To say the least, we had a great meal! There was no way we could stomach the desserts. The location has a private parking lot. I love that that there was a chill vibe, so we were not pressured to eat fast. I'm definitely going to be a regular here.

Still great place! Consistency is important for me if I'm going to go back to a place. Still great service since my last review. Server was very attentive. Refilled the drinks at the table multiple times. Since it wasn't our first rodeo, we definitely ordered a lot up front and came around 3pm on a Saturday to avoid any of the busy times. Good food as well. Most of the family ordered sushi rolls. I wanted more sashimi. Thankfully, you *can* have it all since it's AYCE. We kept ordering and ordering. I got the miso soup, Tom yum soup, Japanese short ribs, crab Rangoon, etc etc. My dad reminded me to save room for dessert. We were seated on the inside room which gave us a little more privacy to enjoy the meal with the family. Maybe cause we were here for a special occasion or if it was because we had a party of 8. The server had a surprise for us: a robot that brought my brothers dessert plate. This time I got to try all 3 ice cream flavors green tea, red bean, and vanilla, and this time they added something new to their menu: fried milky buns! It's a fried bun with condensed milk drizzled on top. I'd recommend splitting the fried milk bun and plopping the vanilla ice cream in between. You gotta try it out for yourself :)

At first we were skeptical about an AYCE sushi spot at this price point, but it was to enticing. We were so pleasantly surprised. At $22.99 pp for lunch, there isn't much to complain, not that the quality was bad whatsoever. Some standouts: - the Kyoto tofu app was delicious. Fried and seasoned perfectly, we ordered three plates. - the shrimp tempura was subpar, something off about the breading. - the a la carte salmon and tuna sushi were fantastic, with better-than-average sizes cut. Considering the quality of food we tasted, we definitely want to try the sashimi, which is only available during dinner. Overall we recommend!

The food was better than I could've imagined. AYCA, ok. I was thinking buffet style? For 22 bucks. I'll try it. 1st, it's not the bs you get in a Chinese buffet. Sushi was phenomenal! Every roll they brought out was a work of art. Waitress recommended "shaggy dog roll". Wow. The Salmon tempura, amazing, Sushi was so fresh, perfect temp. And every bite made you want more. I ate roll after roll, the "Rock and Roll" was awesome, my absolute favorite was the "911" clean restaurant, ambiance was great, the service, was fast and fantastic. Thank you ambisha. we've been sleeping on this sushi joint too long. Give it a try, M-F lunch All you can eat til 3. If not, you're missing out. I'll be back soon.

Ask the Community - Sushi Soho

What are the rules for the AYCE sushi, like if I go with a friend could we both order 5(or whatever number it is) items each or would it be that together we have a limit of 5 items?

I've been to the AYCE, both lunch and dinner, and there is no limit we've ever found to how much we can order, but you do both have to order your own AYCE.

Can you take leftovers home? Do you keep ordering or do you have to order all at once? How many pieces are each order?

    I don't think so

Does the dinner menu offer AYCE sashimi?

    Yes.

    What time is lunch?

It ends at 3pm, Monday through Friday only

Is the Appetizer part of the all you can eat deal?

Yes you can order anything on the menu. The dinner price cost more but has a lot more options.

Do you serve wine/ alcohol 🍷?

We currently serve beer and wine only.

    Can i order half rolls?

Yes they have 1pc 6pc and 8pc rolls

Is this a buffet or order from a menu?

Hi Julie - you order from our full menu and the sushi are made to order.

    How much per person?

Lunch AYCE is $14.99 (adult), dinner AYCE is $24.99 (adult). You can also order a la carte from our menu.… Read more

Is the sashimi AYCE too? If so is the sashimi good condition?

Thanks you for reaching out. The dinner AYCE includes an order of sashima. Yes, the sashimi is great!

How does the ayce work? Is it the model with a special menu from which you order, or is it a buffet line?

Hi - Yes, you will order from our full menu. Everything is made fresh to order!

I just wish they had placed it on top of a shiso leaf so the sashimi wouldn't get wet. The fish did not taste as fresh as I had hoped. Unfortunately, none of the appetizers left an impression. Overall, everything I ate was very underwhelming. I don't think I will be coming back.

We love sushi and ramen/asian type food. Well, this place was a HUGE disappointment. My husband ordered the beef ramen. The broth tasted off and the beef had no flavor and was WAY overcooked and rubbery. He had one bite/sip of all of it and was done. My son had the sushi. You can see how much he ate of it. The inside of one of the rolls was hard (shrimp) and the meat on the other one was not cooked right and tasted horrible. The worst part is that the employees could care less. One of them came over and asked if we wanted our ramen to go when clearly it hadn't been eaten. I said, "no thank you. My husband didn't like it." He just turned around and walked off. Then when the bill came a different server came over and asked if we wanted to go boxes. We said no, we didn't like any of the food. He looked puzzled, said nothing, and walked away waiting for us to pay. We did not want our meal for free but would've appreciated someone asking if we even liked the food since clearly we didn't eat it. But no, we payed our $100 and left. And we will never be back.

NOOOOO! I want to find something good to eat in this Colleyville strip, but this is not it…read more To start, the service felt rushed from the moment we sat down. While efficiency is appreciated, this crossed into uncomfortable territory -- minutes after ordering, the food was on our table. While speed can be a good thing, it raised red flags in this case. Additionally, we asked the waitress a few standard questions like "what is most popular," and she said, "maybe sushi or hibachi," not the most helpful, seeing the name is Hibachi Sushi, so I tried again, seeing they have Sea Bass. I asked if she would recommend Sea Bass, and she again said yes, or chicken or beef. I guess we're reading the menu together today. It was rough, but we settled on two hibachi dishes from a standard table and not surrounding the hibachi cook. The food itself confirmed our time concerns. The quick turnaround meant the dishes lacked freshness. The sea bass in particular was disappointing -- overcooked and rubbery, with no delicate texture you'd expect from a quality fish cut. It tasted more like it had been reheated than freshly prepared. Other items followed suit, feeling hastily assembled rather than thoughtfully cooked. The sauce, texture, and everything else were a miss. Overall, the experience felt more like a race than a meal. Hibachi dining usually delivers on the fresh-off-the-grill flavor. Sadly, this visit missed all of those marks. If you're looking for a date night dinning for about $70 (without drinks or tip) but also need to be in and out in 30 minutes, with feelings of disappointment this is your stop. Recommend staff training for the waiters that interface with customers but also, and more importantly, someone that works there needs to eat what the customers are being served. This food is terrible and in need of quality assurance measures.
