What a super cool place! There are amazing options from the sushi burger to regular sushi rolls. Their macaron ice cream sandwiches are also good. They can get pretty busy, but overall the service was alright!

Its difficult to find, and i got turned around using waze....but well worth the search!Magnificent choices of sushi tacos and sushi bang bang!! I had the sushi tacos first...mmmm.... Tempura shrimp, crab salad, and avocado with spicy and sweet sauce served in a fried bao wrap that looks like a taco. Delicious. The sushi bang bang is tasty and I love the spice. The parking is scarce, and I just happened to arrive at lunch time. The ambiance was fun...they even have Dirk Nowitzki on the side of a refrigerator. Service is friendly. They do a lot of catering and event planning, so if you're in the market for a celebration, stop here forst.

This was my first time visiting. We got turned around for a second, but eventually found where it was. I will say, we were very lucky when it came to the parking; there was one spot left, and we nabbed it. It was a very small space, and I felt it was better suited for takeout. They do have outside heating, but during our Texas summers, that can only be used during certain hours. The menu is above the register, but to look at it, you feel you're in the way of others. You can use their QR code to view the menu that way, as well. The downfall to that is, you're not able to see what's in the rolls; you'll need to go back to their menu above the register. The sushi tacos were really good. The buns are a bit thick, so I removed half of the bun, and it was perfect. We ordered two other rolls, unfortunately, they weren't a winner. One of them had imitation crab, which was really dry and took away from the overall taste. As someone said in the comments, this can be compared to Kroger-style sushi, and is perfect for a take-n'-go. If I'm ever in the area again, I may stop to get a sushi taco and something other than their rolls.

Came here for a yelp event. I have had sushi dojo before when they were selling before having a store front and you meet up with someone at a parking lot. The sushi platter is good for a party. Today we got the fried taco buns. I got the shrimp and my husband got the spicy tuna. 2 is def thicc and plenty for my meal. My husband liked the tuna ok, our roommate did too. Maybe if it was seared tuna instead of spicy tuna. I think for a taco, a bigger solid piece would be best. The fried bun tasted slightly sweet. It was good but I do still prefer regular unfried bao buns. I think the fried part makes it too much for me and oily, I couldn't enjoy the 2nd bun. The store front is cute with seatings inside and outside. Their own parking is small but there's plenty of parking crossing the street. I just hope people are able to park at other lots and walk over. The platter menus look great and we might consider those for a party. I've tried the platter before. It's not restaurant quality sushi like going to Sushi Zen in southlake, but it is better than Sam's/costco sushi. I believe I read the owner use to make sushi for Krogers before they opened their own thing. If so, it's similar to that, like Krogers or central market.

We how Yelp takes us to new places . Finding a hidden gem that we might never have come across is the best part. Well, this is a case in point. This place was firing on all cylinders and was an out of this world experience. Our visit was on Saturday at lunch time. Thankfully we got there at the beginning of the rush. There's a lot of tables on the patio but it was too warm, so we sat at the bar. It's limited seating inside and they ask the customers to kindly keep the meal to 30 mins. I love how they do that. The menu isn't too big but we already knew sushi tacos were on the menu for us that day. We added an order of shrimp dumplings, one inch punch (delicious tuna), bang bang shrimp. They delivered it pretty quickly and it looked so spectacular I was afraid to take a bite. The sushi tacos had one of the best presentations I've ever seen. Well, the taste blew us away. First of all, that sushi taco was an explosion of taste on every bite. I could have eaten several more. They killed it with this!!! We loved the two sushi rolls because they casted fresh and had just the right amount of seasonings. This will be a new sushi go to for us. Even if we have to drive 25 minutes from Fort Worth. Just go early or you'll sit outside.

We live right around the corner and frequent this sushi spot from time to time. I ordered our sushi tacos (plus quite a few other things) and they had it done in less than 5 minutes! The cashier was super friendly, talkative and patient. The vibe is super cool with an upper seating area as well as really cool art on the walls. If you're looking for a quick and casual sushi spot this place ticks all the boxes for sure.

The sushi tacos are very filling and so yummy! So different from the regular sushi fare. The one luck punch sushi roll was also yummy but needed an extra punch (I like my food super spicy!) There are about 4 tables inside in the air conditioning but they have more tables outside under shade. But if you order take out - they are quick to prepare your food. I'll be back to try out the ice cream macaroons that I spied!

This sushi spot has had a drastic increase in customers from some recent social media engagement (even as noted on their doors when we went). Note that you CAN order ahead and still eat in restaurant - and it's BYOB. The restaurant is very casual. You order at the counter and take a seat inside or on their expansive patio (not heated or cooled from what we saw) with a number to receive your food. The man taking our order was fantastic energy - had great recommendations, was extremely friendly, and just good vibes. The prices were fairly reasonable, and especially reasonable for traditional sushi rolls (classics were $6.50 per roll) We got the "Legendary 41" Tartare Towers, Sushi Tacos, Sushi Burger, and the Shredder Burrito. Note that unlike how we experience sushi meals normally, almost all of the non-roll menu items here are quite heavy. The tartare towers were closest to traditional sushi experience. There were 3 small versions of a traditional tuna tower. The Sushi Tacos were amazing flavor, but farthest from traditional sushi. The tempura shrimp and crispy crunchy taco shell had great flavor. The sushi burger and sushi burrito both had great flavor and taste, but are very heavy. We definitely did not need appetizers on top of them. Overall, this is a great, fun experience for what Sushi Dojo offers - we would likely return to try their more traditional sushi in the future.

The sushi was ok... it's your typical americanized sushi. Don't expect too much fish variety here. Although they do have some specialized items like the Sushi Tacos and Sushi Cake. The restaurant is quite small, it's mainly a to-go place. The staff is really good and friendly. They were ready to help if I had any questions. If you like the simple americanized sushi with lots of sauce on top then you will like Sushi Dojo.

Saw the sushi burger (not on the menu) on IG and decided to stop by. It was so filling and so good that I wasn't able to finish it and felt guilty hours later about that. We also tried the potstickers and those were delish as well. As others have mentioned, it has very limited seating indoors and covered seating outdoors. Staff is very friendly! Can't wait to go back!

My son wanted to try this place after seeing it on TikTok. It was so worth the drive. It's a hidden gem off the beaten path. The staff was very friendly. We tried the potstickers and famous sushi burger. They were both amazing and affordable. A must try!!!!'

It is Truly a hidden gem! I had to call to get directions to it cuz my app had me going in circles‍ after calling Joe gave me the clues I needed to get there, it was sharing a parking lot or right across from carpet one, upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised with its decor, even the restrooms for the women had a beautiful design on the wall and it was clean! I went to try the sushi burger, and once there decided on the fish tacos too, all of it was really good! The sauce they make was hard to explain but it was a lil spicy and lil sweet, I couldn't name how it was made but I did enjoy it, & honestly the fish taco was best outta the two items. They have a patio that catches good sunlight and that day a breeze, so much as when my food was ready I opted to come inside. They have these giant macons that were really good too! Joe was very accommodating, so much that I totally left my purse behind & when I called Joe and the staff made sure to keep it safe until I arrived back, hence the no pictures of the food but I did take photos of the patio during the day then that night, the night scene was very romantic giving " Date night vibes" they have a huge selection of sushi so if you love that you'll love sushi dojo.

Service was fast and staff were amazing! Will visit again when I'm in the area. I enjoyed dining in on a calm rainy afternoon. The sushi tacos were good. But, the chicken pot stickers and one inch punch specialty rolls were dynamite! Note: Establishment is a hidden gem with limited parking. There's a few indoor and outdoor seating spaces available.

Omg. Just go. Their nachos, tacos, quesadillas are all amazing and the beans?! Don't skip on those…read moreeither. I love that it's customizable with the menu so you can build each order how you'd prefer. The food is fresh so it may take a minute for it to come out but not an absurd amount of time. This location is near the Walmart / it's parking is just enough for the size of the restaurant. Customer service is on point, they have a self order option so you can do that or ask all your questions with a team member. Restaurant is always clean. Typically is not to busy so you can sit while you wait. Xoxo.

If you are looking for a step up for Tex Mex, this is a good spot. I wasn't greeted when I first went in but the ordering is super easy and convenient with their kiosk upfront. One of the staff did offer to help me with my order and they assured me they were there to help if I needed it. He was friendly and had a great disposition. I wasn't sure why more people weren't inside eating because the ambiance was nice and I liked how the seating was arranged. There was plenty of space between the tables and chairs and the walls were visually stimulating. I ordered to go and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. I drove about 10 mins to get back to the hotel and the grease from the meat had already solidified. I ordered the carne asada tacos with everything on it and it came with a cup of beans. There was a good amount of meat and toppings for each one. The beans were salty in my opinion but to be fair, I don't eat a lot of salt anyway. The meat was savory and they didn't skimp on the serving size but it was greasy so I tasted that just as much as the meat which was off putting. I ordered it with flour tortillas but they were so thin that it all fell apart when I tried to pick it up so I ended up eating it with a fork! I would try it again but maybe with chicken next time it even their quesadillas. I think it's definitely worth a try though.
