After seeing one of the reviews of the "Sahara chicken" I should have thought twice about stopping here. The service is very friendly however the food is seriously lacking. I got the 3 taco meal with chicken, Barbacoa & carnitas. It came with rice and refried beans. The rice was bland, the chicken was dry, the carnitas I couldn't even finish. Only the barbacoa was decent and that's being generous. I have nothing against Taco shacks located in a gas station bc let's be real, it gets hot in a food truck, but there is opportunity for some serious flavor adjustments. 1 star for service and 1 for affordability. read more

I have been craving street tacos for a while and there really is not many options out here in Grapevine. I read a few reviews on yelp, look at some of the food picture and none has really appeal to me until someone posted up street tacos from Quick Fill Street Tacos. It is in a gas station but as with any well known Street Tacos vendors here in the Dallas area, they are all in a gas station. Let's get to the tacos. Corn tortillas! What all good street tacos should be. Soft, and not hard or chewy. Doesn't break up when it's wet and holds the contents well. But the protein is the star. The Al Pastor is very flavorful, and tender. The Carnitas is lean but the spices are great and the Barbacoa is a tad on the grease side but tender. I don't remember ever having to work so hard to eat my lunch. These tacos are really easy on the jaw. These are all great. I highly recommend getting the Al Pastor. If you get the special, it comes with a side of rice and refried beans. Again, they are not hard like they have been siting out. And wow, this is affordable. Don't be fooled that this is in a gas station. These are great street tacos. I would definitely come again. Update. Went back again. Sooo good. read more

After seeing the signs in the window for tropo tacos every time I drive by I was curious. In a gas station? There's a bunch of decent Mexican taquerias down the same stretch of 114. Let me tell you, this place is a must. Their tropo tacos and Al Pastor tacos are really really wonderful. Served with grilled onions and a grilled whole jalapeño alongside cilantro and onions these tacos really quite a treat. Prices are great and staff is friendly. This is to-go place and is really a true taqueria that just happens to be a store within a store. If you like Al Pastor and know the unique flavors that only a tropo can give to pork, then you will find a new 'go-to' gem of a place. read more

WORST TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD....driest meat. Seems as if it sat out for days. I showed up at 11am so there is no excuse for this. I drove past this gas station for a couple of years on the way to work every morning and always told myself I should stop and try their taqueria. I finally did a few months ago and I've been going back for breakfast at least twice a week ever since. I have only had their breakfast burritos (bacon, ham or chorizo) but they are great and affordable. It's difficult to find breakfast tacos or burritos that actually use real eggs and fresh ingredients. Their salsa verde is a must with anything you order. It adds the perfect kick and flavor to everything. The employees are welcoming and seem to remember everyone's orders already. I'll need to swing by for lunch sometime. read more

2 Jan I almost passed this place; if it wasn't for the pictures of food on the windows I would have missed it. The name on the windows is "Grapevine Street Tacos". We stopped here for dinner. Ordering was inside, the outside window was closed. You actually walk into a gas station which is fairly new; there is no seating just a walk up counter (actually a half door). There were two ladies working in a 15x20 room. We ordered Tortas Cuban, Barbacoa burrito, pastor burrito, and cheese quesadilla. The food was hands down some of the best Mexican food I have every tasted. The flavors were rich and succulent. I was shocked. Everyone agreed that my Cuban tortas was amazing. Based on the food we ate, we will definitely come back to try out breakfast and maybe lunch again too!! read more

Amazing friendly and fast service. The tacos with fajita meat comes with almost shredded meat, that can vary day to day. I would give the tacos themselves a 6.5/10 and the taco plate as a whole a 7.5/10. The rice and beans are great, both salsas are amazing but be careful as the red one is hot! The grilled onions that accompany the raw onions and cilantro are a great choice that I enjoy every time I visit! read more

I didn't even save time to take pictures. It looked and smelled so good I ate it as quick as I got it. I had the lengua, barbacoa, and carnitas tacos they were all great add almond flour they come with grilled onions a grilled jalapeno and cilantro and onions. I want to try the past or ones they're cooked on a pineapple rotating spicket inside filling station. I will definitely be back again I started out the morning with the breakfast taco from here it was a chorizo and egg it was great just had to try lunch and I wasn't disappointed. read more

I popped in for the first time today & had the 3 Tacos Special for lunch. I ordered an al pastor, a fijita, & a barbacoa, all on corn tortillas. The al pastor was delicious and the barbacoa had perfect flavor but was a little greasy, even for barbacoa. The fajita was my least favorite; it had a good flavor but too much gristle. The tortillas were fresh and soft, and the perfect thickness. The plate came complete with finely minced onions and cilantro, 2 juicy wedges of lime, a grilled jalapeno, grilled onions and both their red and green hot sauces. Both hot sauces had good flavor, but the green was by far my favorite. The tacos were served with rice and beans. The beans were really good but the rice was a little bland. This place is legit and is definitely a must-try for true street tacos! Note this is not a tex-mex place. read more
