The food...omg! I wasn't expecting a breakfast burrito to be this huge! Got the Birria tacos, so freaking good as well! Service was amazing, as it was as our first time here, and the atmosphere was pretty chill! Not loud at all!

Hard to judge a taco restaurant with nearly 100 choices on the menu based on a visit and eating just two tacos, but, I will try. This is a counter order restaurant with plenty of seating. The restaurant felt a little grungy, but not dirty. It just has a bit of a used look to it. The woman who waited on me to look through the full menu board was patient and friendly. I placed my order and then noticed that there was a small salsa bar over in the corner. Unfortunately, someone had used the same ladle in all three flavors so there was a splash of red in the green and green in the orange and orange in the red. Not the restaurant's fault. My food arrived in pretty good time, but I was also one of only three people in the restaurant. The Pollo Asado was excellent, full of flavor and plenty of filling in the corn tortilla. The Grilled Shrimp was good, but not as good in terms of flavor balance. Again, corn tortilla. It is important to note that they have corn tortillas, not flour. I was asked about flour and told no. So, overall, good experience, good pricing, can't judge how they would do in a crowd or rush because the kitchen looks pretty small. Salsa bar is a plus. Corn tortillas only is a minus because I have lots of friends who just prefer flour. If I could give 3 1/2 stars I would because it just doesn't quite make a 4-star experience for me. I will return and try a few more items.

I came into this place to pick up lunch for my wife and 12 year old daughter on a week day. Place seems to have a good following as a group of fireman were in there eating and another group of friends there that day. Menu is quite large consisting of breakfast, burritos, tacos, tortes, combination plates, kids meals, rice plates, chimichangas and salads. Pretty quick turnaround on my order: maybe 10 mins. I ordered a dozen rolled tacos (perhaps flautas to you Texans...LOL) where the choices are beef/chicken for $10.25. They were kind enough to let me order 1/2 of each with no additional charge. They were pretty good. Solid value at that price for a dozen. They use flour tortillas for this. Also ordered a number 1 combination (taco and cheese enchilada, rice and beans included) for $11.49. It was good but you're better off ordering a dozen flautas for value. Finally got a kids quesadillas which is a pretty decent deal at $6.49 that comes with fries and a small fountain drink cup. They do have a sauce station that has some pickled veggies; a creamy avocado-type sauce; cheesy sauce, and then the red and green salsa. Value wins definitely over flavor here and I'm not saying the flavors were bad. Just a filling meal but not one you make a special trip for...none of the sauces knocked my socks off but they had a decent kick. I'd hit this place again for a quick fix.

Best breakfast tacos in dfw. Reminds me of the good taco shops in San Antonio. Great salsa bar too!

I've had Hispanic meats that tasted straight up like a salt brick, but this was good. A good salty. The salad and rice were delicious, wow, I ate that up. Complimentary nachos came with three dips. The salsa verde was perfect for me because it wasn't spicy at all! It was delicious. I came alone, so I guess the server didn't bother me a lot out of respect. I like that. It was good for me, and I could always wave them down whenever I needed. They kind of have an "open kitchen" so you can see what they're doing. The servers and chefs have a good relationship as far as I could see. All hardworking staff doing honest work. Everything I had was delicious and service was hospitable. I would come here again. What a great night. Gracias!

The service was also great! My husband was disappointed that there were not any beers on tap (bottles only), but they had a delicious mixed drink menu. However, we were very disappointed in the atmosphere. We seated towards the back of the restaurant in direct line of sight of behind the "bar" where an employee's child was playing and a great view of ketchup bottles (who wants ketchup in a Mexican restaurant). Gabriela & Sofia's is in the $$ to $$$ price range, and at this price point ambiance should be continuous throughout the restaurant. Our unfortunate seating location sadly put a damper on the overall experience.

Matt our excellent server has a great sense of humor and welcoming personality. So much that we had to chat with the Manager, Bobby about him. The rib eyed steak - medium rare was scrumptious and the sides: mushrooms, baked potatoes & green beans cooked perfectly. Compliments to their chef/s! With what's happening in the world, the steaks are a little bit on the *ozempic thinner side but we still highly recommend because of the quality. Can't wait to bring our good friends from Arlington, down this way again. We drove over 30 minutes. We came to celebrate life! I started with the poblano meatballs and wow, so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, almost had that grilled taste . For drinks, I had a lemon drop martini and it did not disappoint. For my meal, I ordered the chicken fried chicken and baby... BEST I've ever had. The crust was seasoned perfectly, not too hard, and the chicken was juicy. I also tried the smothered chicken, just as good. And dessert?! Peach cobbler with a snickerdoodle cookie crust... hands down the best I've ever had. No notes. Shoutout to our waitress Heather, she was so sweet, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The manager Chris also came by a few times to check on us, which I really appreciated. 10/10 experience.
