Mexican martini, chips and salsa
Sharon A.

This has been our most favorite TexMex spot for over 20 years! Always fabulous. Hubby and I like to sit in the bar area. Fave orders for me: beef tacos al carbon, Jay's chicken tacos, crazy nachos, tortilla soup, cheese enchiladas with ranchero sauce. Honestly it's all delicious! Husband typically gets quesadillas or the burrito dinner. Awesome skinny margs, and my newest fave - the Mexican martini. You'll find us here at least once a week. Mucho deliciousness! Friendly service too!

First time here with Daughter and SNL. Very busy and loud with hard scape floors. Prompt service. Chips snd salsa was fab. Warm crisp chips. Orderd a variety of dishes. Came out hot and was delicious We will be back

The #9 on the lunch menu tostadas
Olivia W.

The food was very mediocre , we came on a Thursday at 11am (at opened) so it was very quiet which we liked! The servers were very attentive but we were 2 out of 4 people there so I would hope they would be lol. We ordered water with lemon. Did not get the lemon had to ask 2 times for lemons before we actually got them. We ordered a cup of the yellow queso which was BLAH, felt like it came out of a can and was warmed up. My husband ordered the lunch chicken fajitas where he said they tasted amazing , gave a 10/10 for that. I however had the #9 on the lunch menu which was the tostadas. There was waaaaaayyy too much lettuce on the 2 and not enough queso fresco, sour cream, beans, guacamole. The third tostada was just the queso poured on it which I was let down by. Should've at least put beans on it or something. This was our first time coming and I won't be coming again.

Table side guacamole

Overall, not bad. It is a Tex Mex chain so you can't really expect anything spectacular but I think they could've done much better. It's great that they do table side guacamole, this was a big hit with the kids. However, the guacamole was over salted. We also ordered the salmon and it was overcooked. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh and high quality but the execution was just not there. The burrito lunch special was not very special at all, it was just ground beef wrapped inside a cold tortilla. People go out to eat to have food that they can't make at home, in my opinion, I could make their food at home and honestly, mine would probably be better. Service and atmosphere were great which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. And it's not like the food was bad, it just wasn't anything special.

Salmon entree

Thr FloMo area offers many Mexican restaurants to chose from and this Monday night we decided on Anamias We used to go here regularly and always found it one of the best options for Mexican cuisine . Having the yen for good tasty food Anamias was our destination My wife had the salmon entree and I had the cowboy (a trio of a cheese enchilada/taco and tamale) All dishes needed salt and my dish in particular lacked sharpness and flavor Not having been to Anamias in years I was disappointed with our final return Tonight

We go for the tres leches! Ohhhh my goodness! So good. We sit at the bar, everyone is so nice and friendly. We like stopping here after dinner for dessert.

We used to love eating at Anamia's and ordering it Togo. The last few times the food has just been ok. I used to love the chimichanga, but it is filled with 90% onions now. The service is still great, everyone is so nice.

Fish tacos with black beans and rice

We had lunch there with a friend. Fantastic service and the food was very tasty. A little too much on the onions for the fajitas and could have used a little more peppers but other than that, everything was delicious. I had fish tacos and they were great.

Bringing a toddler to a coffee house can be a challenge (#iykyk!), and there's only so much you can do to keep things under control. I am so grateful to the staff here; they were incredibly kind, patient, and showed us so much grace. It makes such a difference for parents! I ordered the Blueberry Lemonade, and it was refreshing and delicious. My friend loved her Honey Lavender Latte, and her daughter clearly approved of the Cinnamon Roll--she polished off every bit of the cream cheese frosting! While parking right in front can be a bit challenging, don't stress--there are plenty of extra spots available right behind the building! They sat 2 6-tops prior to us, plus numerous other larger groups. Having worked as a head host in the restaurant industry before, at first I thought it was because they all had reservations and were just before us in those, but as they sat ~15 groups before us, I started to notice we were being neglected. Even standing right in front of the hostess station. We were sat finally 45 minutes post reservation. (55m total wait time - the day before Mother's Day, with a reservation scheduled 3 days before.) As you can see from posted pics here on Yelp the restaurant is classy with a brasserie ambiance and vibe. We elected to be seated in one of the very comfortable booths across from the attractive bar with its red, upholstered swivel stools. My wife opted for a glass of Pinot Grigio and I a Sazerac. The Sazarac was OK, but overpowered in this pour by the bitters (and I'm one who loves both Angostura and Peychaud bitters. I drink them both straight whenever I have a slightly queasy stomach and enjoy them straight). For starters we shared a bowl of French onion soup which on this chilly early winter morning was a comforting and savory start to our brunch meal. My wife went with the eggs Benedict and I decided to try the Oeufs en Cocotte, a dish I encountered here for the first time ever. The eggs Benedict, my wife reports, was excellent. Perfectly poached eggs, large slices of a tender and flavorful ham over a croissant-like puff pastry that had been split and grilled to perfection in butter on the flat top, topped with a nicely done Hollandaise sauce. Happily for me, she left a half of the butter grilled pastry. It was divine. Likewise the Oeufs en Cocotte, eggs poached in a shallot cream sauce, was heavenly. Cannot wait to enjoy this again! Perfectly cooked eggs in a flavorful, steaming hot, shallot and cream sauce. So good. Our server was perfectly attentive and very helpful, answering clearly our questions about the preparations of the dishes. So looking forward to our next visit.

I do not recall the last time I received both rice and tortillas, so I was not too disappointed being provided only two tortillas. The additional salsa was not spicy and not necessarily as the marination on the pork was sufficient. The asparagus were a pleasant surprise since it was not mentioned in the menu. What really sets this resort apart is the staff, restaurant options, and amenities. Throughout every corner of the property, it's evident that the team shares a strong mission and core values. The only call out I have is the pick up/drop off, there was an worker who suggested travelers that had all stayed at the resort for the week should walk with all their luggage very far to a parting lot for me to pick them up, even though there is a line dedicated to pick up/loading- he could use some training. Other than that the level of hospitality and genuine care is exceptional and noticeably different from typical hotel experiences. The combination of the expansive property, quality accommodations in the right tower, and outstanding staff service makes Gaylord Opryland an outstanding choice.
