Service was ok, i called in my order but when i got there idk i literally had to tell them im here to pick up my order. She was kinda silent tbh the ambiance was neat decorated. I got 4 tacos Pastor, Barbacoa,Carnitas,Asada. None of them really stood out the tacos were small and not much meat. For $2.50 a taco i at least want a good sized taco. I was still hungry after i did like the tortilla tho and the habanero salsa. When i saw pictures of the tacos i really thought they were decent sized but to me they were 2 bite tacos.

Holy cow is this place off the charts for authentic Mexican food. It's in a strip center, so "behind the scenes type presentation" but the food of super flavorful and large portions. Start with homemade chips and salsa (red & green--try dots on a chip to start). The steak and potatoes is a large portion and a best seller. We picked enchiladas that was amazing (can get 4 or 6) $12 for 6. Beans are supreme and worth a side order if your meal doesn't come with it. Staff is very accommodating. I dropped my fork and another was brought quickly & I did t have to ask. They also have vegetarian options.

Carne asada tacos were full of fat. Owner and servers are rude. Will never go back. They don't give you silverware unless you ask.

Yey! Happy we found this place. It is near our golf cart dealership, Evolution Superstore in Roanoke. We took our food to go because we had to open shop. Since it was a Saturday, we got to try their menudo.. yumminess! If you like menudo, get it at this place. It's legit. Flavorful soup and tripe was tender and bigger chunks than most places We also got Tacos - Al Pastor (pork) and Carne asada. Very good flavors and the meat is tender. Good sized tacos. The red and green sauce was also good. Service was also good.

Cute little place off 477 in Roanoke. I had been wanting to try place but I had not been able to make it. The service was great and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a local mom and pop shop. The food was good but nothing outstanding. Regardless, still a good place if you are in the area.

Tried breakfast at Mil Amores today and it was delicious! We were immediately offered their hot chocolate with cinnamon. I can't quite describe it - it has a different flavor than the hot chocolate I am used to and it has a thicker consistency. I'd recommend you try it! I ordered a bean and cheese taco with bacon (not on the menu but they were happy to make it) and a ham, egg and cheese taco. I would definitely order each of them again. I topped them off with their green sauce and a little sprinkle of salt on the eggs and I was a happy girl! My fiancé ordered the breakfast burrito, which had eggs, cheese, potatoes and your choice of meat. He chose chorizo, which he said was excellent and not greasy, as some chorizos are. The potatoes were cut to just the right side and were cooked perfectly. One of the owners spent quite a bit of time talking with us about her home in Mexico and their desire to offer that "home cooked" food to others. It was such an interesting conversation, and I appreciate her willingness to share! This is not the Tex-mex you will see all over - it is unique and fabulous!

You wont regret eating here! I had the Flautas and Steak Taco. Meat is so savory and well seasoned. Tortillas de Nixtamal were so yummy, which you cant find many places. They are better than white corn. Margarita & Adrianna were the sweetest. The Flautas were delicious and love that I can choose 4 or 6!

Tried this place this morning....morning tacos, I know. It was a celebration meal for being able to successfully go through the Texas driver license gauntlet. Tortillas: 4/5. They weren't homemade but were perfectly cooked. Meat: 5/5. Tried asada, pastor, and carnitas. The carnitas were out of this world. Definitely need to try these. Portions were larger than normal and I could barely eat the 4 tacos I ordered, which is unusual. Salsa: 4/5. Very tasty. Came in squeeze bottles. Tried the green and red salsas and both were good. Other: 5/5. Family owned restaurant. Mother cooks the food and daughter runs the tables and register. Great unique Mexican candies and a very very good atole (Mexican cinnamon hot drinking chocolate).

Delicious! Fresh affordable real Mexico Always packed... breakfast or lunch beautiful ensalada staff is always kind

This time I had the lettuce wrap that has chili garlic chicken bites, black beans & rice ($15). It was good and lighter so I wasn't too full to get back out in the heat for the evening. Good flavor. The lettuce leaves provided were too big/mush for the amount of meat given - only needed two leaves since they were quite large. Queso was good. Others enjoyed taco salad, brisket tacos, kids quesadillas, taquitos. Margarita was decent. For $15, I thought it would come in a nice glass or a plastic cup that hadn't already been used. (Mine had most the writing on plastic cup gone. Like they wash and re-use them).

Lettuce wrap tacos are fresh and tasty. Refried black beans are definitely homemade. Ask for their green sauce on the side.

The service was very good, although it was clear the bartender was extremely busy handling both the bar area and the outdoor seating. They could definitely benefit from a second bartender, as drink service was a little slow at times. That being said, the drinks were absolutely worth the wait. I had the Blueberry Habanero Margarita, which was tart, refreshing, and delicious. My husband started with a frozen margarita that he really enjoyed and later switched to a draft Modelo. For food, he ordered the pozole and I had the jumbo shrimp fajitas. Everything was exceptional. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, the dishes were well prepared, and the portions were generous enough that we left completely satisfied. What really excites us about this place is that it feels much more traditional Mexican than Tex Mex, which is much harder to find in this area. The food, drinks, and atmosphere all made a great impression on us, and we are so glad we discovered this spot. We will definitely be back!

Then said yes very rudely. I was taken aback. I ordered 2 tacos and waited for her to stop texting on her phone to actually take my payment. Tacos were brought out, I went back to the register to ask for 2 sauces, and she was again extremely rude and said I should have asked for them when I placed my order. Ok, my bad! She walked into the back without saying anything. I went back to my table and she brought out ONE sauce, not 2 like I asked. I politely asked for another and she scowled at me and returned several minutes later with the other one, dropped it on my table as she walked by and didn't even look at me. Wow. I don't recall encountering someone so rude in a customer svc role, and def think she's in the wrong line of work.
