Y'all. Must go in and get the Elote! I'm serious. It is so good. I have tried it in many places, including the mother source and this one is my favorite! My husband, who happens to be of Mexican descent, loves the enchiladas here as well. They've moved locations, they are now near Walmart. The service was good, although there is a tiny bit of a language barrier. Ambiance is meh, but worth is for the Elote!!! read more

Stopped in for breakfast tacos. Great tasting food for a really great price. Four tacos and two Mexican cokes less than $10. Great dining room with plenty of comfortable booths and the place was clean. They also had some lunch and dinner options that you can order by pointing at the picture which is great for this gringthe green sauce was very good albeit on the spicy side which is how we like it. We venture anyplace for a taco so today's trip took us to Tacos Azteca. We walked into to this gas station taco shop and was immediately not impressed. The place was a mess. With only 2 customers we couldn't find a clean table to sit at. The garbage cans were even over flowing. We ordered 2 carnitas and 2 pork tamales. I did not even eat the taco and the tamales were just ehhh. Bland to say the least. Will not be returning. This is the first place we found here in TX lacking pride in their offering of Mexican food. Had some tacos and gorditas which were not bad at all. Menu says $1.80 a taco but they rung it up as $1.90, Minor but still. The tacos meat itself was good but semi bland. Overall a good product but I would've preferred the cilantro and onions be in my taco and not on the side. My preference but not a deal breaker. Tried all three salsas and they were not spicy at all, even combined all three and still no bite. Our order took approximately 15 or so minutes, normal for a sit down restaurant but not for fast food. Overall, not a bad place and I would probably return. read more

Went here for lunch with some buddies to catch up. Overall the food was decent albeit a little dry. Loved the sauces they gave with the food as they were pretty spicy but overall the meal itself was just ok. Main issue with this place was the time it took to get our food which was about 30 minutes after ordering. Not bad but not great authentic Mexican food imo. read more

Stopped in for the first time and waited about 5 minutes before seeing anyone. Authentic menu with tacos, gorditas, tortas, but no prices. Once the guy showed up to the counter, he was surly and it was obvious he wasn't interested in serving me. Both him and presumably his wife ignored me for another couple of minutes, so I left. I know enough to not order food from someone who doesn't want to serve you. There's plenty of other very good small restaurants with owners that want to take pride and grow their businesses. read more

Don't go to the drive in here. I got stuck here for over 15 min. They could have asked the person to move forward and allow those behind them to get their order. There was only one car ahead of me. Not to mention the place to order your food before the window does not work. When you go inside the over head menu does not have prices. How do you know the price on anything. There is nothing posted what so ever as to what things cost. We ordered the same thing several times but got different type meat on several occasions. read more

We ordered a #11 plater and pork tamales. For our #11 we had the barbacoa meat, chorizo meat, and pastor meat. The tamales were delicious! We also really enjoyed the barbacoa because it was flavorful and moist! The salsas at the restaurant was also good. read more

Aww I was pretty excited for a hole in the wall Mexican food place. But we weren't that impressed. It was okay tacos and tortas. What brought down the stars were the taste and price point. For a hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, I had high hopes for cheap delicious authentic Mexican food. It was okay priced. But the taste was not there. We tried 3 different meats: steak, pastor, and barbacoa. They were all a little lacking in flavor. The pastor had the most flavor of course, but it still wasn't amazing. The employees were nice. The place had a fair amount of customers. But the empty tables were dirty. People threw their own trash away, but the tables were never wiped clean. I don't think we will be coming back read more
