Picked up a lunch order of three tacos (a spicy chicken and two spicy pork) and a burrito for the Mrs. Ordered there and waited, and food was out quickly. Food is always good and was great to re-visit this place. It's a small taqueria, not much seating inside. Family-owned and the service is friendly, and the food is consistently good. It's been a few years since I've been here but it's great to see that they are still up and running in the same place. It's also great to see that so many people love it as much as I do. Full disclosure: My first time there I was looking for breakfast tacos on a Saturday. I bought some for the family and became a repeat customer until I retired and moved to Arkansas. In the meantime I used to grab a bunch of breakfast tacos and treat my coworkers and everyone loved them. I can only speak for the breakfast tacos but they definitely are the best I've had in Texas. If there's a better one, I haven't had it. These taste like authentic Mexican street tacos, no doubt. A great quick stop for some breakfast burritos! Order was cooked quickly. The breakfast burrito includes 2 eggs, cheese, and then you can pick two items to put into your burrito including ham, sausage, chorizo, potatoes, etc. The burritos were a bit small (a little larger than a taco) but very good! If you are hungry, I would recommend getting at least 2, at about $5 per burrito. We took them to a nearby park and ate them in the park. We got medium and spicy salsa which was delicious. read more

Always looking to try new taqueria, and today that brought me to jalapenos...I ordered 4 tacos and 1 flan this morning. The rating would be closer to 3.5 as opposed to 4, but I rounded up. First let's start with the tacos. They were good, but far from great. My biggest issue is, the tortillas that use didn't hold up....I ordered to go so could eat in my car and drove the the parking lot across the street to eat, so it's not because took long to eat. They doubled up the tortillas (corn) and even that didn't hold up, so they fell apart pretty quickly. But the meat all tasted good at least so was glad I grabbed a fork as well. Also, the Al Pastor (listed as spicy pork), spicy chicken that I got, and the Hot sauce (spiciest, since they asked if wanted mild, medium, or hot) had a lack of kick to them, so not spicy at all. I have been here several times and have ordered many different things - all amazing. Consistently fresh, hot and delicious. Price is affordable and portions are big! Service is always welcoming professional and they are fast. Love the ambiance. It's small but plenty of seating. My favorite is breakfast. 4.5 stars to this little hole in the wall taqueria. It's a staple in my life and I encourage you to give it a try. From the "football" uniform on the wall to the TV playing Spanish daytime TV this is about as authentic as you can get in north TX. The quesso is thick and creamy with just a bit of jalapeño. The chips are thin and crispy. The carnitas is some of the most tender pork we have had. A cooler full of glass bottles for you to round out your Mexican lunch. If there is a better taqueria in north FW I have yet to find it. read more

When you see " mamma" working the "Comal" you know you made the right choice and dad's working the grill! So we packed up an assortment of tacos for the game and since it was Sunday I tried some Posole' ! When I asked the young man at the counter if theirs was any good, he didn't even flinch! Judging by the many people ordering it after so did I had a pretty good idea I made the right choice! We were all packed up with plenty of sauces and garnish and on our way in no time! I'm glad there's this hole in the wall taco shop near work. I've been here twice in the last couple of weeks and love the tacos here. During lunchtime it gets busy and the wait for to go orders can be between 15-20 minutes. The customer service is friendly and the staff work quickly. I have tried their carne asada Mexico City style street tacos (cilantro, lime, onions etc.), their refried beans and horchata drink. The ingredients taste fresh, the meat is seasoned well and the horchata tasted like it was freshly prepared instead of the powder form I've had in the past. I recently tried their breakfast tacos, potato, bacon, scrambled eggs and cheese, they were delicious as well. The tacos come with salsa and I usually get the medium but next time I'll try the hot. The parking is limited, however if you come early morning around 8:30, the lot is usually empty. The portions for the price are decent, I look forward to returning. read more

This place has been in Keller for ever and I have always wanted to go in but never remember until that fateful Saturday in November. You walk in and are instantly greeted with the smells and sounds of a place that is small and family owned. It reminds me of the small beach side taquerias that you find in Mexico. We order the breakfast tacos that quite delicious and their homemade salsa is tasty as well. The tacos are made to order and your way. The young man taking orders and helping out his mother (the cook) is very courteous and polite. The menu is just as expected for a place like this and the prices are right as well.
