Had the chicken street tacos and chips.

I had some time to kill and I was hungry so I walked over to this little restaurant and sat down. Service was very nice and the lady was awesome about keeping the chips flowing and drinks. I ordered chicken street tacos and they were pretty dry. The chicken didn't have much flavor to it and the sauces they had were both super spicy. The chips were fresh but needed salt and lacked any flavor. Maybe I caught them on an off day but not sure I'd make a trip back. Service real good. Price real good. Food: meh.

We really love this restaurant. It is kind of the anti-chain restaurant. The waitress was very nice and the food is really fresh and authentic. The tacos and enchiladas were both amazing. No ground beef in their tacos just actual fajita meat. They said they recently got their liquor license so it sounds like that is a change because they used to be BYOB. We didn't get a drink at lunch so I can't comment on their drinks and will have to try them another time. The ambiance and atmosphere is more minimalist...there are some good art pieces on the wall and they go with their more traditional Mexican flare. It isn't the chain restaurant that has thousands of random signs and kitschy objects hanging from the walls. They just seem to have nice people serving really good food for really good prices especially in today's world.

Tacos are margs are This is my favorite local spot for sure! I ordered the house marg. 3 pastor and 3 barbacoa tacos.

Always on the look out for new places to eat we gave this place a try. It's very nicely decorated, the staff are all lovely and the service good. The food was OK, I was hoping for more flavor to be honest. The chips and salsa were great, although could have used a little more salt. The beans are a little pale and un seasoned, they tasted much better after we fixed that. I had the enchiladas and while a good solid meal, it wasn't very tasty.

YELP!! YELP!! Tell the people if they want a GOODT margarita AND food, to come down to El Garambullo Mexican Restaurant!!! Bbbaabbyyyyy!!! When I tell you the food was good and that margarita had my head swerving from side-to-side; believe me!! I felt so good I was about to do the Cha-Cha to one of the songs playing on the speakers!! LOL!!! We're here for a good time not a long time. Here's my PSA: COME THROUGH & VISIT EL GSRAMBULLO if and when you're near Hurst, TX! Don't walk; RUN!! Did I mention they are the SWEETEST workers at this restaurant?!? Customer service here is CHEF'S KISS!! Memphiztz made my margarita, just in case anyone wanted to know. I've frequented here a few times and THE WHOLE STAFF throws DOWN on the drinks so you'll be happy whenever you decide to visit! I'll have to remember to take pictures before I devour them . So far, I've tried the mango, strawberry, and blueberry frozen margaritas. ¡Muy Delicioso! Btw, this restaurant is so clean you can eat off the floors!! The food has not missed yet!! Full of flavor! You'll always leave El Garambullo satisfied! Stop stalling and GET HERE!!

Excellent authentic Mexican food inside of a beautifully decorated restaurant located in a nice neighborhood shopping center. Who could ask for more? There's more! Super friendly staff and spicy salsas available for the asking. So good I've already been twice. Met with a group of old friends from El Paso and hung out all afternoon. We had a great time!

Dinner at El Garambullo Mexican Restaurant- 109 West Harwood Rd., Hurst, Tx 76054 214.587.0309. It was our first visit. We selected it first because of the interesting menu items. Second because I am hooked on Mexican Fish Soup. They have 4 different types. My sponsor ordered the (Enchiladas Rojas) enchiladas (4) in an order. I ordered the Grande-Seafood Soup (Caldo de Mariscos). The salsa was very tasty and not too hot. The sauce on the enchiladas and in the soup was a bit warm. It took me a few bites to adjust my tastes buds. The presentation was very nice for both. The service was pleasant quick. The interior was cute. I liked the paintings. We really want to return and try a few more items. They are new, give them a try and I think you will enjoy the experience.

We were in the area off of Precinct line Rd, and wanted to find something for…read morelunch, once we settled on Mexican, we then used Yelp to find something near by, and Abuelo's was literally around the corner, and boy I am happy we decided to give it a try! Hubs got the Enchilada lunch, selecting beef and he was very satisfied, everything tasted fresh, and was cooked to perfection, along with looking so visually appealing. Oh, also, their chips and salsa are a TREAT, if you've never been they bring a trio of salsa's, one is a tomatillo based, sweetened with pineapple, it's so bright and fresh, and actually surprised me, I don't believe I have ever had sweet, green salsa, every one at the table should like this, they also have a mild, traditional red salsa, and a smoky, roasted, medium spiciness salsa, all three were delicious! I got the Fresco Salad, and chose beef fajita for my protein. Look, I am not a huge salad lover, but it sounded good, and I was looking for something on the lighter side, UM, WOW! Honestly I can't stop thinking about it lol, first of all it's huge, I was only able to eat about 1/4 or maybe even a little less, before I had to give up, and ask for a box. There was enough left that the next day, I made small quesadillas and split the rest with my hubs for lunch and we both were stuffed. The salad was fresh and crisp, the flavors including the dressing that automatically comes with it is the perfect match up of flavors. I really need to find an Abuelo's while out of town next week lol. Our service was great, Tony was very attentive and helpful, always made sure our beverages were full, and friendly. I will ask for his section the next time we visit! To wrap things up, know that the portions are generous, the food is on point, and the restaurant is large, so they can accommodate groups and parties, the atmosphere is lovely, and decor beautiful and festive , I hope you give them a try.

Like many others, we've been coming here when it was Miguelitos…read more Then the announcement it was changing owners. Oh boy. Usually this means the beginning of the end for restaurants (See Pulido's) BUT, we gave it a try a few weeks after the change and the food was still the same, great quality it always has been. Hooray! Then the name change. This also had me worried. If they're changing the name, they might be changing process and procedures in the kitchen as well. Well, we still frequent the place regularly and it's STILL our go-to for Tex-Mex. Still great food, still great atmosphere, still great, friendly staff. Always. Everything we've had so far has been fantastic: enchiladas, giant burrito, shrimp tacos, beef fajitas, everything. If I was to say ONE thing as a criticism, I miss the pitcher of salsa on the table to refill your salsa cup. And the bowl of chips is smaller, making you go through them quicker. A minor inconvenience and the staff are pretty much on top of refills, so like I said: minor. Oh, and I miss looking under the plates for the 'M' for the complimentary dish. Just something fun.

Food is always consistent and service is top-notch. Plus, the frozen Margaritas are some of our all-time favorites. Mi Pueblo also has some pretty awesome salsa and chips. We like our salsa a bit hotter, so we mix their hotter salsa in with the regular. It comes out perfectly. After being seated and looking over the menu, one of our regular servers, Jose, came by to take our drink orders. Two frozen Margaritas, one no-salt, the way my wife likes it. My wife decided on an order of bean and cheese nachos, Nachos de Casa. I ordered the Azteca platter comprised of a sour cream chicken enchilada, cheese enchilada, crispy ground been taco plus rice and refried beans. When our Margaritas arrived, we were both happy campers with very happy tummies. We munched on chips and salsa, sipped Margaritas and had a good bit of conversation going when Jose arrived with our entrees. Yummy, picture perfect. My wife said her nachos were awesome. Mi Pueblo cooks up some really deliciously flavored refried beans. They've got great flavor and are seasoned to perfection. My Azteca platter was more than I could eat. My wife warned me, but I didn't listen. Both enchiladas were packed full of deliciousness. The crispy beef taco was crunchy and wonderful. Rice and refried beans, AWESOME! Thank you, Jose and Mi Pueblo, for a wonderful relaxing time dining and enjoying each other's company. We'll be back many more times in 2026.
