Tried this place twice. We liked the street tacos, specially steak and pastor. Barbacoa was okay. The server at the register was very sweet. She let me sample the horchata before purchasing. Came back and tried the steak torta. It is okay. The bread did not taste like the typical torta bread. The steak inside was not filling. Lots of bread to meat ratio. They didn't miss a beat when it came to recommendations and really came through for my catering needs. And shoutout for asking the all-important question: corn or flour tortillas? I'll start by saying the staff here is really nice. The girl at the counter smiled a genuine smile the entire time we were there. This is a cute little place, glad to finally try it out. To start with the absolute best thing, that consomme is ridiculous. Seasoned well, a little salty as it should be, perfect consistency. I literally drank it out of the small cup before I could stop myself. The green and orange sauces were really good, too, but it was a little mild without adding some salt, that really enhanced the flavors. The green one was my favorite, I think. The three tacos plate. They have a strange rule, all three tacos must be the same. I imagine that has something to do with the difference in price of some tacos, but it's just weird. The girl was really nice and let me order three different ones since it was my first time, that way I could try some different ones so I know for next time. The pastor was good, the chicken was great (this would be my choice next time), but the barbacoa was kind of a let down, probably because good barbacoa is one of my favorite things ever. The flavor was fine, but the cook style and cut of meat was not like barbacoa. It was reminiscent of dry brisket. I've had a lot of barbacoa over the years, different cuts of meat, cheek meat is my favorite because it's so moist and a little greasy. This was the opposite of that, like it was kept in a warmer with no liquid, and it made me wish I'd saved the consomme. The radish slices were also dry, like they were sliced days ago. My boyfriend had barbacoa nachos, he said the nachos were good, the pico was a little dry, and we felt the same about the barbacoa. The cheese that came with the nachos was so thick, to the point it was a wee bit gummy, but the flavor was good. I'll definitely be back, I'm keen to try the breakfast bowl with that green sauce and some consomme. ;) read more

If you are driving through the metroplex, be sure not to miss this place! It's conveniently on the access road wedged between DQ and In-N-Out. Saw this on TikTok and decided to try it. The street tacos were each under $4 a piece so I tried a few. My favorite was the Steak. The Pastor had a mild sweetness to it and the carnitas and Barbacoa were a little dry. It's a smaller place and was not loud. You could sit and have a normal conversation if you wanted. I saw the high help rating and drove straight here not knowing what to expect. This place is stoooopid tasty good. It's just a small 4 table unit like Chipotle decor, but the authentic recipes are incredibly good. With food this good I'm surprised it's not geared more toward a dine in experience than the takeout quick eats place that it is. I somehow missed the opening for this place? Apparently they've been open for like 4 months! Anyway, as a self proclaimed local taco connoisseur (yes I cringed typing that) I had to check them out. My husband got a mango fresca that was good, I appreciate that they have the larger to go cups. My horchata tasted a little bit watered down though. We got the chips and queso, queso was thick and creamy with a subtle heat. We got a set of barbacoa, al pastor, fried fish, brisket, shrimp, one quesabirria taco to try and finished it all off with some sopapillas. The fish taco was excellent. Crispy, fresh, the sauce went so well with it and the avocado added a great creaminess. The slaw gave it a great bite too. Would strongly recommend this. I know people get weird with fish tacos, just try it, it's delicious. The fried shrimp was also very good and I would put them on the same level. Barbacoa and brisket were both tender and tasted about as expected. I really enjoyed the al pastor, love the fresh pineapple chunks. Sopapillas were definitely homemade. The food is incredible and authentic with different salsas for different levels of heat. They have glass bottle sodas and fresh mango, hibiscus or horchata drinks. I went with the mango. The breakfast burrito is awesome,huge and priced at $7. You can actually eat cheap and be full. Hard to find. Services was ok. They bring the food to you after you order. Not big on the tip machine, ambiance is about average, it's in a shopping center but I want tacos and burritos and I'm on the go so not worried about that too much. read more

Great atmosphere when you walk in. Small and cute area. I ordered the chicken quesadilla, the pastor taco, and the carnitas taco. Everything was juicy and tender. No dry meat.
