    Chilaquiles with salsa roja
    Kayla P.

My current neighborhood lunch go-to for a delicious and inexpensive plate of chilaquiles. I opted for salsa roja, 2 medium fries eggs, home fries, and rice instead of beans (rice is life). There is cheese and sour cream hiding under those eggs. Absolutely had to get a large melon agua fresca on the side. For the delicious food and price point, hard to beat! Small location with multiple booths inside but it is clean, staff is very friendly, and they have a steady flow of customers to show the food is yum. Many on their lunch break like me!

My husband and I have only been here a few times, but each time the food has been delicious. I usually get their taco plate that comes with 3 tacos and rice and beans, which always taste homemade. & despite grabbing the same thing each visit, it's easy to switch up by trying their different meats, like barbacoa, fajita, and carnitas to name a few. My husband tried their chimichanga this last time and he really liked it plus it was huge so he had plenty to eat for dinner as well. They also have sopes, huaraches, and gorditas, which look delicious and makes me want to try something new, but so far, the tacos always win. I don't know why we waited so long to come back to this place. I can't wait to go back

Super impressed with this little taco spot! We picked up some to go plates for lunch--amazing. Their red salsa was perfect. Rice and beans on point. Can't wait to go back and try breakfast at some point!

3 Tacos with Rice and Beans (chorizo/egg, carnitas, barbacoa)
    Robin P.

I will preface my four star review by saying I typically salt food before I eat it, so my review may not apply to other people. To start, the beans were sooooo good. I normally hate refried beans, but these were just genuinely very tasty. The rice was also pretty good, but it just seemed a tad bland so I just mixed it with the beans. Because I state again, they were so good. The little chorizo and egg taco was very good. Perfect ratio of eggs to chorizo and not greasy at all. This is where it takes a turn. My favorite street taco is barbacoa, and sadly this barbacoa was very dry and a little tasteless. The delicious salsa verde definitely helped, and that red sauce was amazing and pretty spicy. The carnitas were the opposite of dry, to the point of being pretty oily, and somehow also very bland. I had to add quite a bit of salt, and I just dripped some of the oil on the barbacoa taco to help with the dryness. So these two problem tacos were the only reason for four stars instead of five. The beans almost pushed this to five stars but I'll have to go back for another meal before I raise it to a five. Overall, I liked this place. I'll be back for another go.

    So you don't miss it!

Nope. Naw. Uh uh. I had high expectations for this place. I pulled up, it was by a shady c-store, it was small, and it smelled so good. There was even a fifteen minute wait for my nachos and taco plate. It saddened me to bite into the most bland tacos ever. Truly it did. I was hurt in my soul because I wanted, badly, for their to be some great taco place right by me. It had all the makings of it, but it just didn't make the cut. Even the salsa was bad:( In hindsight maybe the cars were there for the cheesesteak place on the end. Maybe that's where that glorious smell was coming from?!? Oh well, on to the next one...

3 beef tacos on corn tortillas with rice ,beans , and salsa verde.

I was walking around looking for somewhere to eat while my car was having new brakes installed. I discovered this small restaurant; I ordered 3 beef tacos with beans and rice which came with salsa verde. The flavor was delicious and very satisfying. I definitely recommend; takeout may be better option for some because indoor dining is limited with Covid19 social distancing guidelines.

The reason for 4 stars is because WHOEVER MADE THE SALSAS PLEASE ADD SALT!!! Please!!!! I beg you. for the tacos: THOSE ARE EXACTLY THE KIND OF TORTILLAS FOR TACOS! Not white corn ! Those are terrible ! So I appreciate and love those tortillas they used. The pastor meat was delicious I loved it, the asada was not good. Please grill it , get some good flavor on it. It was gray and not much flavor going on. Because it's called asada for a reason. The burrito was good , again it was asada but the meat wasn't all that. You put too much beans , and I taste bacon fat in the beans. Idk why anyone would refry beans in bacon fat. Please stop doing that. Beans are delicious on its own. The tortilla was good , it wasn't that nasty mission flour type of tortilla. Overall , yes it was good just add salt to salsa and prepare the asada meat better. I'll go back , I'll probably get pastor since it was well seasoned and delicious. Please owner take it into consideration

I ordered the shrimp and beef fajitas--the shrimp was tasty and cooked well, but the beef lacked flavor and felt underwhelming. My husband ordered the carne asada and enjoyed it. The Queso Mariano was quite good -- creamy, flavorful, and loaded with guacamole, picadillo beef, sour cream, and tomatoes. We arrived a few minutes before closing, but they were kind enough to still accommodate us. There were still plenty of people dining, and we actually left before some other tables. Service started off a bit slow, as we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order, but once we were attended to, everything went smoothly. The restaurant itself is spacious and has a nice atmosphere, making it a comfortable spot for a casual meal.

I wasn't sure why more people weren't inside eating because the ambiance was nice and I liked how the seating was arranged. There was plenty of space between the tables and chairs and the walls were visually stimulating. I ordered to go and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. I drove about 10 mins to get back to the hotel and the grease from the meat had already solidified. I ordered the carne asada tacos with everything on it and it came with a cup of beans. There was a good amount of meat and toppings for each one. The beans were salty in my opinion but to be fair, I don't eat a lot of salt anyway. The meat was savory and they didn't skimp on the serving size but it was greasy so I tasted that just as much as the meat which was off putting. I ordered it with flour tortillas but they were so thin that it all fell apart when I tried to pick it up so I ended up eating it with a fork!
