    Taco plate
    Karina C.

My husband and I have only been here a few times, but each time the food has been delicious. I usually get their taco plate that comes with 3 tacos and rice and beans, which always taste homemade. & despite grabbing the same thing each visit, it's easy to switch up by trying their different meats, like barbacoa, fajita, and carnitas to name a few. My husband tried their chimichanga this last time and he really liked it plus it was huge so he had plenty to eat for dinner as well. They also have sopes, huaraches, and gorditas, which look delicious and makes me want to try something new, but so far, the tacos always win. I don't know why we waited so long to come back to this place. I can't wait to go back

    Chilaquiles with salsa roja

My current neighborhood lunch go-to for a delicious and inexpensive plate of chilaquiles. I opted for salsa roja, 2 medium fries eggs, home fries, and rice instead of beans (rice is life). There is cheese and sour cream hiding under those eggs. Absolutely had to get a large melon agua fresca on the side. For the delicious food and price point, hard to beat! Small location with multiple booths inside but it is clean, staff is very friendly, and they have a steady flow of customers to show the food is yum. Many on their lunch break like me!

3 Tacos with Rice and Beans (chorizo/egg, carnitas, barbacoa)

I will preface my four star review by saying I typically salt food before I eat it, so my review may not apply to other people. To start, the beans were sooooo good. I normally hate refried beans, but these were just genuinely very tasty. The rice was also pretty good, but it just seemed a tad bland so I just mixed it with the beans. Because I state again, they were so good. The little chorizo and egg taco was very good. Perfect ratio of eggs to chorizo and not greasy at all. This is where it takes a turn. My favorite street taco is barbacoa, and sadly this barbacoa was very dry and a little tasteless. The delicious salsa verde definitely helped, and that red sauce was amazing and pretty spicy. The carnitas were the opposite of dry, to the point of being pretty oily, and somehow also very bland. I had to add quite a bit of salt, and I just dripped some of the oil on the barbacoa taco to help with the dryness. So these two problem tacos were the only reason for four stars instead of five. The beans almost pushed this to five stars but I'll have to go back for another meal before I raise it to a five. Overall, I liked this place. I'll be back for another go.

    So you don't miss it!

Nope. Naw. Uh uh. I had high expectations for this place. I pulled up, it was by a shady c-store, it was small, and it smelled so good. There was even a fifteen minute wait for my nachos and taco plate. It saddened me to bite into the most bland tacos ever. Truly it did. I was hurt in my soul because I wanted, badly, for their to be some great taco place right by me. It had all the makings of it, but it just didn't make the cut. Even the salsa was bad:( In hindsight maybe the cars were there for the cheesesteak place on the end. Maybe that's where that glorious smell was coming from?!? Oh well, on to the next one...

3 beef tacos on corn tortillas with rice ,beans , and salsa verde.

I was walking around looking for somewhere to eat while my car was having new brakes installed. I discovered this small restaurant; I ordered 3 beef tacos with beans and rice which came with salsa verde. The flavor was delicious and very satisfying. I definitely recommend; takeout may be better option for some because indoor dining is limited with Covid19 social distancing guidelines.

Good food for good price. Hit the spot for my taco craving. The menudo looked good even though I didn't get any.

We had a group of 22 people and the staff were very on top of making sure that our drink orders were taken immediately, followed by our food order. Big shout out to Jaden who took care of us - she's was awesome and did a fantastic job even with our complicated orders. I shared the Texas Surf and Turf with a few others a the smell of the sizzling platter triggered the drooling right away. The had a good flavor and very balanced. I would definitely go back to try more of the menu!

Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a letdown. The fajitas seemed like they had been sitting for a while and weren't served as hot as they should have been, and the tortillas were cold. I also felt the food and drinks were a little overpriced for the overall quality. That said, every restaurant can have an off night. Based on the great atmosphere, I'd be willing to give them another chance. Hopefully, my next visit will better match the enjoyable vibe they have going.

The moment she walked in they were ready to seat us. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of our server however he was awesome! Knowledgeable, helped with making decisions, and friendly. We sat long after we were done eating catching up and not once did he rush us out the door, instead he kept coming by refilling our glasses. So in the process of catching up, I dropped the ball and didn't get the pictures i normally would get (I know, rookie mistake) however they have great lunch specials and great prices (my plate was $10 and came with beans, rice, a brisket taco, and a cheese enchilada with pico on the side). When we got seated they also brought chips and each of us our own salsa so I could double dip as much as I liked and put some on my food. Seriously, this was a great lunch and I even had enough to take home and munch on later. Will I go back? Definitely as I need to give the drinks and other dishes a try!!!
