House margarita
Stephanie B.

I was solo dining. Sat in a booth, was able to watch TV, a game was on. The marg was probably from a mix, should have asked for a small one. It was big, I was driving. The bean dip that came with the chips and salsa was so good, slightly warmed. My meal could have been the beans that came with the meal, so tasty and flavorful. I got the carne a la tampiquena with onions and salsa & guacamole plus a cheese enchilada. I only used one corn tortilla. It wasn't needed. The food was great. Service was attentive, and the vibes were a cool Mexican themed restaurant, I love the fresh plant in the booth on the window.

We loved Lupe's! This is such a cozy, "hole-in-the-wall" vibe! The music was incredible - it was live but not too loud, and the singer is just amazing. Great voice and very versatile! The service is friendly with that family owned vibe too. The food was delicious. I loved my burrito and my husbands enchiladas were great. This is such an awesome local spot and we can't wait to make it a staple!

Love this place! I haven't ordered anything that I didn't love. The black bean dip is SO good! I always get extra. Nice friendly service with lovely ambiance.

Been to every establishment in this shopping center but never tried Lupe until my nephew suggested it! Black bean dip -10/10 Salsa- 2/10 needs to more spicy for my liking Brisket tacos - 10/10 according to my 11 year old foodie king! Chile relleno- 8/10 was so much food! Definitely going back to try other menu items!

I'm very satisfied with the service, food quality and flavor, and with the serving size. We were greeted as we entered the restaurant and were promptly seated. Throughout our visit our drink glasses were kept full. The pace of service was perfect. Nothing was rushed, and the meals were served as we requested. Absolutely spot-on service. As far as I am concerned, the Mexican food is middle-of-the-road flavor. I've definitely had better, but not complaining. If anything could be improved, I'd recommend a little more spicy heat be added to the salsa and the entrees. I especially enjoyed the black bean dip that was included with the complimentary chips and salsa. My entrée included a crispy beef taco. It arrived impressively loaded. It was one of the best tacos I've had in a long time. The ambiance is a tried and true, comfortable Mexican village motif. It wasn't noisy during our visit. There are also outside tables available if the weather is good. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and recommend this restaurant.

The marquee

Been going to Lupe's for a while now and tonight was eye opening. The waiter spilled water all over our table. Then he charged us the publicized rate for the Margarita and up charged my husband saying it's on the marquee. You decide for your self.

Came here with some coworkers midweek for a little birthday gathering. We had 4:30 pm reservations and were seated at a table set with chips, salsa, and bean dip. None of us tried the bean dip because it didn't look appetizing, but that salsa was soooo good! I took some to go! Our waitress was friendly, but service was a little on the slow side in my opinion. We had to wait long to order, and then once our food arrived, it was lukewarm. I was too hungry to send mine back, but a couple of coworkers in our party did. I don't blame them. I ordered "Sonia's", which consisted of 2 enchiladas (1 chicken, 1 cheese) with rice and beans on the side. This was my first time eating sour cream sauce and it was bomb! I didn't have the chicken tortilla soup, but I snapped a picture of someone else's who said it was good. The size was impressive and I love leftovers! I meant to order a cup to go but forgot. Spacing was decent and the restaurant appeared to be COVID-clean if you know what I mean. There was hand sanitizer at the entrance, and low capacity of patrons. Decent TexMex eats. The salsa was probably my favorite lol.

We had gotten kind of stuck in a rut when it comes to Tex Mex, so decided to try something different this weekend. We had driven past Lupe's a few times but never stopped, so figured we'd give it a go. When we arrived, we were greeted and asked if we'd like to sit inside or outside. We opted for outside, as it was a nice day. Their patio is nice with ample comfortable seating and is shaded, which was nice. A server promptly took our drink orders and brought chips, salsa and bean dip while we perused the menu. My first instinct, reviewing the menu, was that this place is quite expensive for Tex Mex, but they have a great selection, including a decent set of lunch specials Monday-Friday and a weekend brunch. I opted for the shrimp enchiladas with Poblano sauce (it is alternatively offered with mole sauce). I also asked for a side of the "atomic sauce" which I saw listed with several other dishes. Glad I got it as a side. Just a very little bit goes a long way, but is absolutely delicious. The enchiladas were delicious. The Poblano sauce was flavorful. And the rice and beans were pretty much your standard Tex Mex fare. My husband got the Mexico City tacos (which include the aforementioned atomic sauce) and they were delicious and flavorful, but beware, they're spicy. Service was good, food was excellent and the location is convenient. We'll definitely be making another appearance here.

Jalapenos margarita on delivery. Not full and a lot of ice.

We've been going to Lupe's for years! Their bean dip is 10/10. I recommend the Chicken Enchiladas or table side guac. Definitely a go to!

The moment she walked in they were ready to seat us. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of our server however he was awesome! Knowledgeable, helped with making decisions, and friendly. We sat long after we were done eating catching up and not once did he rush us out the door, instead he kept coming by refilling our glasses. So in the process of catching up, I dropped the ball and didn't get the pictures i normally would get (I know, rookie mistake) however they have great lunch specials and great prices (my plate was $10 and came with beans, rice, a brisket taco, and a cheese enchilada with pico on the side). When we got seated they also brought chips and each of us our own salsa so I could double dip as much as I liked and put some on my food. Seriously, this was a great lunch and I even had enough to take home and munch on later. Will I go back? Definitely as I need to give the drinks and other dishes a try!!!

Big shout out to Jaden who took care of us - she's was awesome and did a fantastic job even with our complicated orders. I shared the Texas Surf and Turf with a few others a the smell of the sizzling platter triggered the drooling right away. It has steak, chicken, and shrimp served with tortillas, beans, rice, pico, and sour cream. It was hot and fresh when it came out and had a great flavor! Their margaritas were great too! The had a good flavor and very balanced. I would definitely go back to try more of the menu!

I ordered the shrimp and beef fajitas--the shrimp was tasty and cooked well, but the beef lacked flavor and felt underwhelming. My husband ordered the carne asada and enjoyed it. The Queso Mariano was quite good -- creamy, flavorful, and loaded with guacamole, picadillo beef, sour cream, and tomatoes. We arrived a few minutes before closing, but they were kind enough to still accommodate us. There were still plenty of people dining, and we actually left before some other tables. Service started off a bit slow, as we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order, but once we were attended to, everything went smoothly. The restaurant itself is spacious and has a nice atmosphere, making it a comfortable spot for a casual meal.

Hubs got the Enchilada lunch, selecting beef and he was very satisfied, everything tasted fresh, and was cooked to perfection, along with looking so visually appealing. Oh, also, their chips and salsa are a TREAT, if you've never been they bring a trio of salsa's, one is a tomatillo based, sweetened with pineapple, it's so bright and fresh, and actually surprised me, I don't believe I have ever had sweet, green salsa, every one at the table should like this, they also have a mild, traditional red salsa, and a smoky, roasted, medium spiciness salsa, all three were delicious! I got the Fresco Salad, and chose beef fajita for my protein. Look, I am not a huge salad lover, but it sounded good, and I was looking for something on the lighter side, UM, WOW! Honestly I can't stop thinking about it lol, first of all it's huge, I was only able to eat about 1/4 or maybe even a little less, before I had to give up, and ask for a box. There was enough left that the next day, I made small quesadillas and split the rest with my hubs for lunch and we both were stuffed. The salad was fresh and crisp, the flavors including the dressing that automatically comes with it is the perfect match up of flavors. I really need to find an Abuelo's while out of town next week lol. Our service was great, Tony was very attentive and helpful, always made sure our beverages were full, and friendly. I will ask for his section the next time we visit! To wrap things up, know that the portions are generous, the food is on point, and the restaurant is large, so they can accommodate groups and parties, the atmosphere is lovely, and decor beautiful and festive , I hope you give them a try.

There was plenty of space between the tables and chairs and the walls were visually stimulating. I ordered to go and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. I drove about 10 mins to get back to the hotel and the grease from the meat had already solidified. I ordered the carne asada tacos with everything on it and it came with a cup of beans. The meat was savory and they didn't skimp on the serving size but it was greasy so I tasted that just as much as the meat which was off putting. I ordered it with flour tortillas but they were so thin that it all fell apart when I tried to pick it up so I ended up eating it with a fork!
