Margarita with chips and complimentary bean dip

The ambiance is loud but festive with your usual Mexican decor. Their service is great. The complimentary bean dip, salsa and chips always hit. The food is delicious. I usually get the fajita nachos and my hubby usually gets shrimp enchiladas. The portions are large, but I did mark them down because it is on the pricey side. Other than the price, we love this place! Come early for the margs happy hour!

We loved Lupe's! This is such a cozy, "hole-in-the-wall" vibe! The music was incredible - it was live but not too loud, and the singer is just amazing. Great voice and very versatile! The service is friendly with that family owned vibe too. The food was delicious. I loved my burrito and my husbands enchiladas were great. This is such an awesome local spot and we can't wait to make it a staple!

Been to every establishment in this shopping center but never tried Lupe until my nephew suggested it! Black bean dip -10/10 Salsa- 2/10 needs to more spicy for my liking Brisket tacos - 10/10 according to my 11 year old foodie king! Chile relleno- 8/10 was so much food! Definitely going back to try other menu items!

Love this place! I haven't ordered anything that I didn't love. The black bean dip is SO good! I always get extra. Nice friendly service with lovely ambiance.

I'm very satisfied with the service, food quality and flavor, and with the serving size. We were greeted as we entered the restaurant and were promptly seated. Throughout our visit our drink glasses were kept full. The pace of service was perfect. Nothing was rushed, and the meals were served as we requested. Absolutely spot-on service. As far as I am concerned, the Mexican food is middle-of-the-road flavor. I've definitely had better, but not complaining. If anything could be improved, I'd recommend a little more spicy heat be added to the salsa and the entrees. I especially enjoyed the black bean dip that was included with the complimentary chips and salsa. My entrée included a crispy beef taco. It arrived impressively loaded. It was one of the best tacos I've had in a long time. The ambiance is a tried and true, comfortable Mexican village motif. It wasn't noisy during our visit. There are also outside tables available if the weather is good. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience and recommend this restaurant.

We've been going to Lupe's for years! Their bean dip is 10/10. I recommend the Chicken Enchiladas or table side guac. Definitely a go to!

Terrible service never ‍ again. My pregnant wife went in and looked over her twice and took other people orders.

This was a friends recommendation and I must say I'm happy that she chose this spot…read more I walked in and was greeted however I explained I was waiting for a friend so I took a seat on the couch and waited for my friend to arrive. The moment she walked in they were ready to seat us. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of our server however he was awesome! Knowledgeable, helped with making decisions, and friendly. We sat long after we were done eating catching up and not once did he rush us out the door, instead he kept coming by refilling our glasses. So in the process of catching up, I dropped the ball and didn't get the pictures i normally would get (I know, rookie mistake) however they have great lunch specials and great prices (my plate was $10 and came with beans, rice, a brisket taco, and a cheese enchilada with pico on the side). When we got seated they also brought chips and each of us our own salsa so I could double dip as much as I liked and put some on my food. Seriously, this was a great lunch and I even had enough to take home and munch on later. Will I go back? Definitely as I need to give the drinks and other dishes a try!!!

Food came out hot. I do say that you hear the microwave door slam constantly. I don't know if we would go back but I'm glad we tried it. Our bill was $80 for the equivalent of On The Border. I really like this place. I usually come for lunch and sit at the bar…read more Staff Diego, Ariel, Belen and Leo are great. They are all pleasant and conscientious. They really make the place. Heck, even Ruben is always upbeat. Drinks The margaritas are top notch. They are all good but my preference is the premium rocks. There are some daily specials to look for. Food As for food, the beef fajitas are the best in town. The spicy chicken verde is also a favorite. BUT, what I really miss is getting the filet mignon "Mexican style" or the ground fajita burger. Both really made the menu stand out. I know meat is super expensive these days, but it really made LaHa stand out. Overall Great place to bring a group or a date. If there is nice weather there is a great deck. Plenty of indoor private rooms also.

Used to be great. Now? Save your money and possibly your stomach…read more I genuinely don't know what happened to La Hacienda Ranch over the last year, but the decline has been impressive -- and not in a good way. We used to really enjoy coming here. After our most recent visit, I'm not sure we'll be back. The experience started going downhill literally at the front door. We told the hostess we had a party of four, and she seated four people with two menus. Apparently we were expected to read in pairs. Then we waited...and waited...for our server to finally appear. This was a Wednesday night. The restaurant was somewhat busy when we arrived, but it cleared out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our service speed did not improve with it. Our waitress had a fascinating ability to identify everything she was forgetting without actually correcting any of it. "Oh, I should bring you more chips." No chips. "I should bring you another water." No water. We needed additional silverware. That became another waiting game. At one point, it felt like we were participating in some sort of restaurant-themed escape room where the goal was to figure out how to acquire menus, water, chips, silverware, and eventually food. And then there was the food. We waited approximately 45 minutes, only for it to arrive cold and incredibly mediocre compared with what La Hacienda Ranch used to serve. One chicken dish came out cold enough that I was genuinely concerned it may not have been fully cooked. The salad dressing deserves its own honorable mention. What arrived looked so bizarre that I initially mistook it for a bowl of refried beans. It appeared to be balsamic dressing that hadn't been properly mixed -- separated, lumpy, and completely unappetizing. Nothing says "enjoy your salad" quite like wondering why your dressing has the structural integrity of bean dip. By this point, the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so I'm not sure what exactly was happening behind the scenes. After the cold food, missing drinks, missing chips, missing silverware, forgotten requests, and approximately three business days spent at the table, we were finally asked if we wanted dessert. Ma'am, we wanted to leave. This wasn't one small service mistake or an unusually busy night. The entire experience was bad from beginning to end. The food quality has noticeably declined, the service was painfully slow and inattentive, and the experience was nowhere close to what we've had here in years past. I'll be contacting management because this location used to be genuinely good, which makes the decline even more disappointing. If we decide we want La Hacienda Ranch again, we'll make the drive to Frisco. Based on this experience, this location isn't worth the time, money, or the potential upset stomach.
