The service on a Saturday was a lot left to be desired. No real smiles or offering to help with menu, just very cut and dry. I order chilaquiles, and breakfast tacos. I will say all was very good, but I don't think it's worth the price...breakfast tacos were almost $4 each and a chilaquiles plate was $13. Maybe it's inflation...idk? But I'd have to try it again to not be on the fence. read more

Good tacos and a place where you can still get a good meal without breaking the bank. They have more fancy tacos but their breakfast tacos and their 'street tacos' are a deal. Tacos y Mas is not a Torchy's Tacos type place (which I really like Torchys) but you will send half as much here. Their kids meal is also a deal with a few choices and all of them come with rice, beans, a drink and a churro for $8. They have a salsa bar that is not for the feint of heart. I like salsa with a good kick but unless you can really handle it, I would suggest you stick to the middle or left side. (The salsas get hotter as you go left to right on the salsa bar. The service is nice and efficient. The ambiance is authentic and a little warmer and nicer to me than a fast food place but still more in that world than a waiter type restaurant. read more

I've been here a couple of times now, and the food is solid. Not outstanding, but satisfying. The service has been friendly and open both times, and food comes out hot and quick. This time we had the tacos and enchiladas, and enjoyed our meals. I do feel that the price is a little high for the quality, quantity, and location so it isn't somewhere I would come often. I also feel the ambience could be improved, as the location looks a bit rundown inside, especially in the back area by the drink station. Stuff doesn't have to be shiny and new to be neat and tidy looking, so I hope they take a little time to clean things up and get it back to looking nice. read more

SALT! If there's one word to improve Taco Y Mas it's that. Salt. Had four different types of tacos: Steak, Carnitas, Barbacoa, and Pastor. All lacked flavor and bland. Adding their Verde salsa didn't help as that was flavorless as well. Personally, I like rich, full, punch-you-in-the-face flavors and this tasted like I had COVID and lost my sense of taste while eating it. read more

I ordered my food through Instacart wanted to try some place new. The first one tasted decent but as I kept eating being so hungry. I couldn't even finish my food my stomach started hurting so bad. Later on from trying to sleep it off, realizing I got food poisoning. read more

Service is good. Steak tacos are horrible. Meat is pale and brittle like a barbacoa. Meat must sit in a pot all week. They don't even bother heating or toasting the tortillas. I was expecting basic good steak tacos. I'm not a picky eater, this was my first meal of the day at 2pm on a Saturday, only ate 1.5 out of 4. read more

Randomly stopped in after dropping my kiddo at school. Ordered two bean and cheese tacos and chilaquiles to go. Even after a 15 minute drive everything was still hot and tasted fresh. The ladies working were very kind and patient as I tried to order in Spanish. Quite a few people were popping in for to go breakfast after I ordered. Definitely a sign of a solid spot!! I will be back! Cannot wait to try more of their menu! read more

My husband stopped in to grab us a quick dinner to go. He got a breakfast burrito and ordered me the Veracruz taco and a churro. He said his was "ok" but unfortunately both of my items went into the trash. The fish in the taco was so hard it had to be a few days old. I threw it away and thought well at least I can have my churro. Tore a piece off the end and there was still raw dough inside and filled with some kind of pudding? Nope, right in the trash. Absolutely terrible food, and even though this place is right down the street we will not be going back. read more

Amazing Birria taco platter! The trio of queso, salsa, and guacamole was good too! A little expensive, but overall a good restaurant! Good service and fun environment. read more

Friendly service and good breakfast tacos. Cowboy taco came with fresh chopped jalapeño and plenty of shredded cheese. Also enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast taco. Option of corn or flour tortillas. Salsa bar has plenty of fun choices with varying heat levels. I wasn't brave enough to try the peanut butter salsa, but maybe next time. The lady behind the counter made a fresh pot of coffee for me and even gave me some milk to go with it - so 5 stars for service. Will try the lunch tacos next time I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Absolutely zero customers I should've turned and left there. Literally found plastic in my food from the salsa bar; they remade my tacos but before serving the kitchen staff let out 2 congestive loud sneezes then brought my food. I completely lost my appetite. The rice was hard for no reason. NEVER EAT HERE it's tasteless and only God knows what other non edible items are in the food. Zero stars. Never returning. read more

I've always past by this local taco joint and decided to make the decision to give it a try. I wish could say I had a great experience but I cannot. When walking in the person at the counter who takes orders, was on the phone. I wasn't sure when I was able to order as they continued the conversation they were having on the phone. I tried to stay positive in hopes that I'd still have a good experience. Decided to try the new Birria tacos they were advertising. They asked if I wanted the plate so I said sure. As advertised on the menu, plates come with rice and beans. Assuming that is what I'm receiving, I was wrong. Instead I paid $17 for three street tacos and one drink. When asked about the rice & beans I was told it did not come with it. Sadly I was disappointed with the quality of the tacos. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back again. read more

Never Again !!! Not impressed at all !!! I love lengua (beef tongue), and I was looking forward to this meal delivered via Door Dash. I was impressed at the size of the burrito (see pic), but when I opened it, I found mostly lettuce, rice, and beans. There was very little meat inside. I was heart broken. I hate wasting food so I ate it, but again, I was not impressed. I also ordered street corn (see pic), it looks way better than it is. Again, not impressed. I will not order from here again. read more

When it comes to me and authentic cuisine I prefer the closest to traditional although I have have learned not to be picky especially when it comes to Tacos since tacos are essentially Street Food. But are the tacos are closest to traditional and at least closer than some other taco places. I enjoy their corn tortillas which are not hard and don't break when you hold them like hard tacos at other places. They've got a variety of different Meats such as lengua, barbacoa, beef, fish-I personally enjoy the mahi tacos. I eat a lot so I usually get about 8 tacos and that tends to run me only about 10 bucks or so. They have specials which are a great deal for bulk eaters. The restaurant is clean inside, and of course practicing social distance. When I was in there, I didn't see that dine in was an option but I could be wrong. Honestly, it is more bang for your buck here, I have not been disappointed or left wanting more. Heartily I recommend this place read more

Great tacos. I got the grilled shrimp taco and a grilled fish taco. Both of them were very good. My friend got the taco bowl and was raving about how good the taco shell was. (I didn't really know there could be very much difference in the taste of a taco shell). They have a range of hot salsas...maybe 8 or so. I tried 3 of them and they were really good. They have them labeled as to how hot. The hottest one I tried was about the third to the top and it definitely had a kick. You may have to be brave or crazy to try the hottest couple ones. read more

I got the street taco platter(chicken). And a side of chicken tortilla soup. The tortillas on the soup were stale. Just your average tortilla soup. Nothing over the top. I'd rate it a 4.5 out of 10. Not spicy at all. Good for kids. I added the bombero sauce to the soup. It brought that score up to a 6. They put rice under the soup. It had cheese as well. So if you're looking for that kinda style of chicken tortilla soup. It does come with the avocado. It isn't extra. The lady at the counter was very nice. She helped me and told me about the sauce bar. As the atmosphere, the walls need to be painted. Needs more lighting in the back. I'd give the atmosphere like a 4. The chicken in the tacos wasn't dry. Very soft. Recommend the sauce with it. I'd rate it a 6. So all around I'd rate this place a 7.5. They brought my food out to me. I give them points for that. Good for a quick eat and go. Saturday afternoon, we decided to try a different place for tacos than we usually do. the young woman at the front counter was extremely kind and patient with us, as we had not been in here before. I had (embarrasingly) forgotten to tell her that we were taking our food to go, until everything was ready on plates for us, and she showed more patience as she then prepped everything to go instead. I got the street taco plate, good value for the amount of food that I received, and carnitas had a lot of flavor and was very moist. Horchata was refreshing and not overly-sweet. The wait was very reasonable, for the amount of food that we ordered. There were several other small families eating inside the restaurant at the time. Everything in the front appeared pretty much clean, but we were taking our food to go. They advertised that breakfast tacos are available "all day" and I was tempted, but perhaps next time! Thank you again! read more

not my fav taco place. This is super close to my house, so i was excited to try. First try I thought...ok they just opened. Not too bad. skimpy on the meat. Will try again after they've been open for a bit. Second try --- I got breakfast tacos to see. Hmm...not that bueno. I wasn't too excited about breakfast that day. So I haven't really been back. Service was good. People that work there are nice. Salsa bar is nice. Restaurant is clean and there is plenty of room to sit and eat. Since i'm doing keto right now, I can't go back and try again. hopefully the food has gotten better since I last went. There are signs on the door and on the register that tell you there is a charge for using debit/credit card. It's up to YOU, the consumer, to decide if you want to bother with the upcharge for that convenience. So many people on my nextdoor neighborhood was tearing this place apart for the upcharge. They tell you what's up - they aren't sneaking it in there without you knowing about it. read more

Place left much much more to desire. Food is mediocre at best. Ordered an al pastor torta - bread was soggy, which is weird because the bread should have been slightly toasted AND there was nothing in the torta that would have normally made it soggy. Ingredients in it were lettuce, tomatoes, onions, the meat and 1 (one) mere lonely slice of avocado. The meat was salty and DID NOT taste like al pastor. I also ordered 2 tacos, one of the tripas and the other lengua (beef tongue). Tortilla size was good but the amount of meat in the tacos was very very small for almost $3 tacos. The lengua taco had about 6-7 very small little cubes of meat. Salsa bar was ok, other than that definitely not deserving of a second chance. read more

This would be the THIRD time me and my co worker are to order from this place. (Because I'm the type to give a place the benefit of the doubt...) The third time is supposed to be the CHARM, right? WRONG. When my co worker went to go pick up our breakfast, they were sitting down eating and then told her that she already picked it up and they are out of the cowboy breakfast tacos.... So to make this short, they gave our food to some one else and REFUSED to refund the money. They would not give us the owners name to complain. This place would be good if they had genuine people who actually give a crap about their customers, especially since this place is a franchise of "Tacos Y Mas". We will take our business elsewhere. ***UPDATE*** Corporate ended up calling and refunding the funds but I wouldn't suggest this place. read more

I'm glad I decided to try Tacos y Mas! I've tried several of their special tacos, but I like carnitas the best. I place my orders in person and the food is delivered very quickly. As an added bonus, the servers are all very nice. I really like the salsa bar, but the salsas are not always marked. I love the fact they have pickled onions. I wouldn't mind seeing cilantro, pico, and maybe some limes on the bar, but it is not a deal killer. I'll return often! Note: They charged me $0.60 to use my credit card.
