I've been here a couple of times now, and the food is solid. Not outstanding, but satisfying. The service has been friendly and open both times, and food comes out hot and quick. This time we had the tacos and enchiladas, and enjoyed our meals. I do feel that the price is a little high for the quality, quantity, and location so it isn't somewhere I would come often. I also feel the ambience could be improved, as the location looks a bit rundown inside, especially in the back area by the drink station. SALT! If there's one word to improve Taco Y Mas it's that. Salt. Had four different types of tacos: Steak, Carnitas, Barbacoa, and Pastor. All lacked flavor and bland. Friendly service and good breakfast tacos. Cowboy taco came with fresh chopped jalapeño and plenty of shredded cheese. Also enjoyed the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast taco. I've always past by this local taco joint and decided to make the decision to give it a try. I wish could say I had a great experience but I cannot. When walking in the person at the counter who takes orders, was on the phone. I wasn't sure when I was able to order as they continued the conversation they were having on the phone. I tried to stay positive in hopes that I'd still have a good experience. Decided to try the new Birria tacos they were advertising. They asked if I wanted the plate so I said sure. As advertised on the menu, plates come with rice and beans. Assuming that is what I'm receiving, I was wrong. Instead I paid $17 for three street tacos and one drink. When it comes to me and authentic cuisine I prefer the closest to traditional although I have have learned not to be picky especially when it comes to Tacos since tacos are essentially Street Food. But are the tacos are closest to traditional and at least closer than some other taco places. I enjoy their corn tortillas which are not hard and don't break when you hold them like hard tacos at other places. They've got a variety of different Meats such as lengua, barbacoa, beef, fish-I personally enjoy the mahi tacos. I eat a lot so I usually get about 8 tacos and that tends to run me only about 10 bucks or so. They have specials which are a great deal for bulk eaters. The restaurant is clean inside, and of course practicing social distance. When I was in there, I didn't see that dine in was an option but I could be wrong. Great tacos. I got the grilled shrimp taco and a grilled fish taco. Both of them were very good. My friend got the taco bowl and was raving about how good the taco shell was. (I didn't really know there could be very much difference in the taste of a taco shell). They have a range of hot salsas...maybe 8 or so. I tried 3 of them and they were really good. Woke up out of the blue wanting street tacos this morning lol so I got to surfing the web and reading reviews...Tacos y mas came to mind 1st seeing as it's near where we live even though we never ate here before...I usually only pick up from here often for delivery service. My Wife and I got the street taco platter which comes with 3 tacos either on flour or corn tortillas one got corn and the other got flour we both got steak, chicken and barbacoa as well as it comes with rice and beans. I'm glad I decided to try Tacos y Mas! I've tried several of their special tacos, but I like carnitas the best. I place my orders in person and the food is delivered very quickly. As an added bonus, the servers are all very nice. I really like the salsa bar, but the salsas are not always marked. I love the fact they have pickled onions. I wouldn't mind seeing cilantro, pico, and maybe some limes on the bar, but it is not a deal killer. I'll return often! Note: They charged me $0.60 to use my credit card.
