Our first visit to a Frezko restaurant will be our last! While the Food was excellent the service and attention to detail was terrible! Two things: first, we came mid afternoon on a Sunday afternoon, and the sun outside was putting a glare on the menu boards. My wife asked the sales person which type of meats they had available for their tacos. The sales person said it's on the menu above, my wife replied I can't read it because of the glare. The sales person then said it's in the center of the menu above? Second, my wife is allergic to cilantro. We specifically asked to have cilantro left off of her fish tacos. I was skeptical about this place but it turned out to be a great choice. The inside is very spacious and has nice cultural murals. I ordered a full order of tacos (4) with corn tortillas and got the asada and barbacoa as the meat option. The lady was polite and helpful. The tacos are on the smaller side but nicely packed with meat and make up for the size of the taco. The flavor of the meat is very similar to South Texas type of tacos which I liked. The corn tortillas were very delicious. They were so good I ate one of each taco that I forgot to take a pic of all 4. The salsa bar is lacking and only has 2 salsas with lime wedges. I came to try this place from the Yelp reviews. I would say that if you are looking for a healthy option, this isn't the place. If you are looking for a step up for Tex Mex, this is a good spot. I wasn't greeted when I first went in but the ordering is super easy and convenient with their kiosk upfront. One of the staff did offer to help me with my order and they assured me they were there to help if I needed it. He was friendly and had a great disposition. I wasn't sure why more people weren't inside eating because the ambiance was nice and I liked how the seating was arranged. There was plenty of space between the tables and chairs and the walls were visually stimulating. I ordered to go and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. I drove about 10 mins to get back to the hotel and the grease from the meat had already solidified. I ordered the carne asada tacos with everything on it and it came with a cup of beans. There was a good amount of meat and toppings for each one. The beans were salty in my opinion but to be fair, I don't eat a lot of salt anyway. The meat was savory and they didn't skimp on the serving size but it was greasy so I tasted that just as much as the meat which was off putting. I ordered it with flour tortillas but they were so thin that it all fell apart when I tried to pick it up so I ended up eating it with a fork! Omg. Just go. Their nachos, tacos, quesadillas are all amazing and the beans?! Don't skip on those either. I love that it's customizable with the menu so you can build each order how you'd prefer. The food is fresh so it may take a minute for it to come out but not an absurd amount of time. This location is near the Walmart / it's parking is just enough for the size of the restaurant. It's National Taco Day so we looked for a good Taco place in our area and found this joint. We ordered a fish taco, Birria taco plate, 4-taco plate that you can mix/match (carne asada, pollo asada, barbacoa and carnitas), shrimp quesadilla. Hubby got 2 pollo asada and 2 carne asada. I got the shrimp quesadilla and fish taco. The fish taco was so good same with the shrimp quesadilla which is served exactly as shown in their menu. The 4-taco plate was also flavorful. Our orders came with this bean soup and they tasted really good, I was wanting more. You pay at the counter but our food didn't take long. Ambience was cozy and clean. She was very knowledgeable , great at multitasking , they greeted us upon entry and didn't rush us when ordering or asking questions. We had a few vegetarians in our group and the option for "veggie" is just sautéed pico which you can make any of the menu options vegetarian but it would be cool if there was maybe some mushrooms or zucchini to throw in. The lack of additional veggies didn't change the fact that almost everything we had was AMAZING! A few things were the fish tacos Baja style, the chingano fries - we had both veggie and birria- these were such a large portion it could have fed 2-3 people each ! We had a veggie quesadilla, a steak burrito, chips and queso with guacamole, as well as birria tacos & The elote in a cup however the elote was the ONLY thing we wouldn't order again, it had an odd taste we couldn't put our finger on. The service is counter service but everyone who came to deliver the food to the tables near by always checked to make sure we were okay. The establishment was very clean and modern. Food was excellent! Good quality and served hot and pretty, too! There were 8 of us and they easily accommodated us inside. With concrete floors and hard walls, the loud music really hindered our conversations. I had the street tacos - and there were 4 of them but I couldn't nearly finish them. Hubby had the Birria tacos and loved them. Several had the nachos that could have easily been shared with at least one other. It would really help if there was someway to describe the sizes because we ordered enough food for a party twice our size so we had a lot of leftovers and a lot of food thrown away. The servings are a good size for the price and you can get any toppings on your taco or burrito. The tortillas are soft and fresh and the queso is phenomenal. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the opportunity to a few weeks ago. My husband and I arrived early on a Saturday afternoon and the place was empty. Having never need there before, of course we needed to star at the menu for a while deciding what to order! I wish the cashier would have been a little more friendly and/or engaging, but she seemed disinterested. Not rude, just not very customer service-y. I ended up ordering the torta with a side of fries and small queso. I've never had a torta before, and I was in for a surprise. It was huge and fresh, the bread was soft, the chicken was delicious. The fries are hand cut, which is a huge plus and they were cooked perfectly. The queso was pretty thin, but was very good. Hubs ordered the tacos which comes with 4 to an order. I believe he ordered 1 of each type of meat. His favorite was the steak, but he said they were all really good. The restaurant was clean. The drinks are self serve and they have a station with hot sauce if you wish to partake. I truly wish we had a Frezko Taco close to home. I have to say it was an incredibly delicious selection of food here. Walking in for the first time, the artwork in the restaurant was pretty unique, with its graffiti style and bright green theme. It's actually really cool to me. The menu offered a wide range of dishes, from classic Mexican favorites like tacos and quesadillas, to unique specialties like the Chicano fries. I opted for the tacos, which were absolutely delicious(wish I could remember which ones they were so I can list it ). The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned and tasted SUPER fresh. To accompany my meal, we also had some queso fries, which is pretty much fries with a side of queso. Let me tell you, the fries were like really good! Almost reminded me of the kind of fries you get at Five Guys. Also, the queso was just as good! It was a more runny kind of queso but don't let that scare you. It was still some really good stuff!! We also tried the churro cheesecake and that was sooooo good! Man, I loved that dessert!! I was just very impressed by the quality of their food and how true to Mexican it actually was. It felt authentic and homemade. The service was the only thing I would say needs improvement. Staff was pretty friendly for the most part and helpful with any questions we had. The problem starts with the tables. Seems like they don't do a great job cleaning the tables and there isn't really a lot of seating in there to begin with so not sure what's going on there. Could be staffing issues, I really don't know. I'm not going to knock them for it but definitely something to improve on. Just servicing the tables after someone is done eating. I went here for the 1st time yesterday , the restaurant was clean and looked really nice , the salsa cart was a little dirty but not horrible . Staff was friendly enough , I got 2 taco plates that came with 4 street tacos and a side of beans , it was about $13 for each plate , the salsas were not bad but also not hot at all , the tortillas were store bought which was disappointing some , the meat itself was a little chewy , didn't really have any char on the meat and the flavor was just okay. LOVE this place. We used to go to Frezkos when they were in the Southlake location. They moved and were not near us but when I saw their new location popped up in Euless I knew we had to gave them a try. We have had the Birria tacos, the choose your own meats bowl, the burrito, and the tacos and all were delicious. If you order a dish they give free bean soup, also delicious. I could take the bean soup and eat it straight or pour it over any of their meals and it would compliment it. I love all their flavors and will keep being a customer. read more

I ordered a chicken and beef burrito; the size was very generous however the meat (especially beef) tasted a little stale. To be fair, I ordered takeout so maybe in store it tastes a lot better. Thinking back on this place: love their chips! They are warm and thick--papa chips, not fall apart baby chips. Food is great but a little on the Creecy side. The servings are huge so you could definitely split. We've been here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. The chips and guac are my favorite... Probably the chips. And I'm usually not a huge tortilla chip fan. Counter service is a plus right now except when they beg you for a tip or force you to tip. The reason we tip weight staff is because they are running back-and-forth and back-and-forth and getting every little thing that we want. But that's a completely different soapbox that I will get off of for this review. The staff has been great.
