a plate of mexican food

I hate even reviewing taquerias because I'm soooo picky. I have had some absolutely amazing tacos in this area so the bar is set super high. That being said, this place wasn't bad but I wasn't in love. The chips were a little stale but the salsa was delicious and fresh. The service was middle of the road but it was also packed so that's understandable. Everyone was friendly. I felt like my tacos were just okay. A little greasy and the beans were very salty. The guacamole was fantastic. One thing I really didn't understand or like is why they did a 15% service charge for me dining alone but then prompted for tip as well. It was okay, but I didn't think my lunch was worth 18.50 personally.

Good tacos - great casual spot for some authentic Mexican food. They also serve breakfast!

Carne Asada burrito

We visited Office on Trinity a nice little hole in the wall bar with great HH specials and friendly staff. Plus Daisy's Mexican cuisine is next door and the bar allows outside food. I ordered a carne asada burrito which was everything in that moment. Soft tortilla shell, fluffy rice, tender meat, warm beans... etc. Y'all get the point...it was bussin'. Roni's pick

I'm going to give my honest review. I went today 12/9 at 11:30 ish to pick up my order. Lady was…read moresuper nice, I got to try all four salsa , verde tomatillo , red salsa, creamy guacamole and habanero ( my favorite). The reason for 4 stars is because WHOEVER MADE THE SALSAS PLEASE ADD SALT!!! Please!!!! I beg you. for the tacos: THOSE ARE EXACTLY THE KIND OF TORTILLAS FOR TACOS! Not white corn ! Those are terrible ! So I appreciate and love those tortillas they used. The pastor meat was delicious I loved it, the asada was not good. Please grill it , get some good flavor on it. It was gray and not much flavor going on. Because it's called asada for a reason. The burrito was good , again it was asada but the meat wasn't all that. You put too much beans , and I taste bacon fat in the beans. Idk why anyone would refry beans in bacon fat. Please stop doing that. Beans are delicious on its own. The tortilla was good , it wasn't that nasty mission flour type of tortilla. Overall , yes it was good just add salt to salsa and prepare the asada meat better. I'll go back , I'll probably get pastor since it was well seasoned and delicious. Please owner take it into consideration

You can do combos or à la cart . I thought the food was good. I also thought it was a good value for the money. Hot sauce bar was cool. Left the place full. Counter service was friendly. I would take my family here. It's open 24 hrs so I would come back for the breakfast Burritos. Or I guess I could get almost anything....in the morning, maybe? We had a group of 22 people and the staff were very on top of making sure that our drink orders were taken immediately, followed by our food order. Big shout out to Jaden who took care of us - she's was awesome and did a fantastic job even with our complicated orders. I shared the Texas Surf and Turf with a few others a the smell of the sizzling platter triggered the drooling right away. It has steak, chicken, and shrimp served with tortillas, beans, rice, pico, and sour cream. It was hot and fresh when it came out and had a great flavor! Their margaritas were great too! The had a good flavor and very balanced. I would definitely go back to try more of the menu!

I ordered the shrimp and beef fajitas--the shrimp was tasty and cooked well, but the beef lacked flavor and felt underwhelming. My husband ordered the carne asada and enjoyed it. The Queso Mariano was quite good -- creamy, flavorful, and loaded with guacamole, picadillo beef, sour cream, and tomatoes. We arrived a few minutes before closing, but they were kind enough to still accommodate us. There were still plenty of people dining, and we actually left before some other tables. Service started off a bit slow, as we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order, but once we were attended to, everything went smoothly. The restaurant itself is spacious and has a nice atmosphere, making it a comfortable spot for a casual meal.

Customer service is on point, they have a self order option so you can do that or ask all your questions with a team member. Restaurant is always clean. If you are looking for a step up for Tex Mex, this is a good spot. I wasn't greeted when I first went in but the ordering is super easy and convenient with their kiosk upfront. One of the staff did offer to help me with my order and they assured me they were there to help if I needed it. He was friendly and had a great disposition. I wasn't sure why more people weren't inside eating because the ambiance was nice and I liked how the seating was arranged. There was plenty of space between the tables and chairs and the walls were visually stimulating. I ordered to go and I didn't have to wait too long for the food. I drove about 10 mins to get back to the hotel and the grease from the meat had already solidified. I ordered the carne asada tacos with everything on it and it came with a cup of beans. There was a good amount of meat and toppings for each one. The beans were salty in my opinion but to be fair, I don't eat a lot of salt anyway. The meat was savory and they didn't skimp on the serving size but it was greasy so I tasted that just as much as the meat which was off putting. I ordered it with flour tortillas but they were so thin that it all fell apart when I tried to pick it up so I ended up eating it with a fork! I would try it again but maybe with chicken next time it even their quesadillas. I think it's definitely worth a try though.

The moment she walked in they were ready to seat us. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of our server however he was awesome! Knowledgeable, helped with making decisions, and friendly. We sat long after we were done eating catching up and not once did he rush us out the door, instead he kept coming by refilling our glasses. So in the process of catching up, I dropped the ball and didn't get the pictures i normally would get (I know, rookie mistake) however they have great lunch specials and great prices (my plate was $10 and came with beans, rice, a brisket taco, and a cheese enchilada with pico on the side). When we got seated they also brought chips and each of us our own salsa so I could double dip as much as I liked and put some on my food. Seriously, this was a great lunch and I even had enough to take home and munch on later. Will I go back? Definitely as I need to give the drinks and other dishes a try!!!
